It is a tad bit creepy thinking of Snape and Hermione together, but on the other hand I only can see her with someone of her mental capacity, and I think she would melt his cold heart.
I dunno...I am just a tad bit weird I guess. o.O;

fourtysecondscarf I love slash. It's one of my guilty pleasures. I like a lot of pairings in the HP universe, but I think my first actual slash was Remus/Sirius. I dislike things with Snape...I really like his character, and him getting together with Hermione is a bit creepy. I think he should stay single... Out of HP universe, I am currently obsessed with Kakanaru, due to seeing This. ::gasps:: I love kaka/naru that's my second favorite pairing besides naru/sasu. I started reading slash at 13 after my gay friend introduced me to ffiction, before then I didn't even know it exsisted! I wonder what would have happened to me if I hadn't read slash? I write slash also, theyre not the best so don't ask for a link! I think they're horrible since I wrote them when I was a freshman in high school (I'm in college now sweatdrop ) I think it's great that our culture is more accepting over homosexuals...at least the younger generation is.

Slash is slightly disturbing, but sometimes they are a good read if the writer is... well... good. I'm more into just Harry fanfiction or Hermione, Draco, Harry/Hermione, Draco/Hermione, Harry/Draco if there is nothing else left and Luna if I can find a good one.

I adore slash fics, but I'm not too keen on Draco/Harry. I prefer Lucius/Harry, Severus/Harry etc...

Severus and Harry seems so unbalanced though... I mean, Severus is old enough to be Harry's father. But they aren't too bad... I've read a few that I got hooked on. Felt weird though, for some odd reason.

I tend to like the Snappy/Harry ones and the Snape/Hermione ones.
They are pretty interesting. I like the idea of older and younger people getting together.

I personally wanted to see Snape and Lily together. I cried so hard, during "The Prince's Tale" it was so sad! Snape always had good intentions, but they turned out so badly all of the time. His life was so much like a depressing soap.

I have never gone out of my way to track them down, my area of interest is fluffy R/Hr, but I don't mind a good Draco/ Harry on occasion. I'm not entirely sure why I like it, it seems so wrong and everything, but yeah. Dumbledore/ Grindelwald I want to get into, and it practically is almost cannon anyway.

watarrmelonz I have never gone out of my way to track them down, my area of interest is fluffy R/Hr, but I don't mind a good Draco/ Harry on occasion. I'm not entirely sure why I like it, it seems so wrong and everything, but yeah. Dumbledore/ Grindelwald I want to get into, and it practically is almost cannon anyway. I so agree with the dumbledore/grindelwald pair..I just wish that I could find a good story. I also like Severus/Harry, I just love that idea...don't get me wrong, in cannon that would never happened.

Harry and his teacher Severus who pretends to hate him, but is helping him the whole time. I love slash! Nearly all of the good fanfics I've read has either been slash, or general! *grins*
I can still remember the first slash pairing I read... I was in 7th grade at the time, so I was about... twelve years old at the time! After that, I got addicted.
Dunno why though. I guess I'm just weird that way.

Yeah, getting into fanfics is hard initially (especially slash pairings). I think it helps that I've read them since HP became semi-popular, so their characters weren't as developed as they are now.

Yes Garnet (congrats on becoming prefect by the way) I have the older man sydrome, in real life though...ugh no! Don't worry kitsune...I got hooked on slash at 13 so we're basically the same! I remember my first slash pairing I read also..the story to say wasn't very well written. Generally I only read slash..and some general, but not het..wonder why that is?
