Lizbeth_r9 Ahhh.. my parents are responsible for my best addictions (especially Red Dwarf and Black Adder)... they let me stay up to watch it... i guess i've been pretty lucky being English because its been repeated a fair bit over here xd Gosh you're terribly lucky! Next year when I do my exchange program over to England, I'm going to hunt around for a good house. And as soon as I see a job offer, I'm bolting. Whoa, slow down a bit, 'faewen. hehe. I'm only a senior in high school still! sweatdrop

Erfaewen okay that's what I thought, but I wasn't sure so I figured I'd ask. xd I can relate tho. I've a younger sister to and we have similar conversations. Oh good, then. We're not totally insane. Since we're so different in age, I spent a good part of her life living elsewhere (I moved out at 17), so sometimes it's like we're making up this whole sibling thing as we go along. We have a tiny family and no example of how siblings usually interact, besides on tv, where it seems they want to kill each other more than half the time. xd

Poor DVD-less fools...Bwahahah! xd
I first heard about it from (almost) my entire family, they all watched it, especially my grandmother. She'd watch it every Sunday night on UK Gold, and after some church thing one evening (back when I was around 9/10 years old), we all went back to her house and watched it.
Of couse, being young, I had little to no conception of what was going on, how funny it was, or whatever. But as I got older, I watched it more and more, and I began to love it.
So now, I'm a proud owner of Series I-V (One to Five) on DVD. Thank you, please. heart

We even sort of have a secret language we made up when we were little. We still soemtimes use it. See my sister and I are two years apart. For the first 10 years of our lives together we were constantly at each other's throats. But we've since matured and hang around each other at school all the time. Kids think it's crazy because I'm a senior and she's freshman and really we're complete opposites. But we're best friends. She's actually on gaia too. She's never been able to experience RD tho. sad

Awwww. Well she shall have to see RD!
Yeah, Keldan and I talk gibberish too. Sometimes it's so silly it simply gets out of hand.
A secret language. How cool. We just like to pretend we have one. Hehe.
Your sister is welcome to join the guild even though she hasn't seen RD. Maybe it'd get her interested in it. biggrin
