Tesunie was too wrapped up in his own mind to sleep, but he closed his eyes and tried at least. While he was there, unable to sleep, he kept an ear open to the conversation around him. It was better than dwelling on sad thoughts. So many sad thoughts as of late. When would they stop?

(I know, Im just being, er, species centric. Sorry gonk Lilith still doesn't quite get how it works, though)
Soon Lilith was the only one who appeared to be awake to speak to the dragons, which was just as well, since she was the leader of her small group and so that responsibility fell on her. And as for her responsibility, she felt that she was not making much progress. Although they had just met, she was disappointed at Katrina's reserve, not the least because she was unconsciously comparing it to the established repertoire that she had had with Tony.
Lilith found herself looking down at her clasped hands. "Then... do you know about Dragon Valley?" she managed. "That is where Tony was taking us. We had hoped to find him more help there, and...," she sighed, "and to rest."
Theddryn turned his head their way, snorting again. If she asks for the dragon world, we will not take her there.
Rhy'delle sat still with her head resting on the ground, but she also was listening. Yet they will be a hindrance on our mission, unless they know where we are to look.
Although both dragons were aware of Cedric's little project, both of them fairly well connected to his brother and the inner workings of the family through their bonded, they had never heard it called that before and so did not yet catch on to what Lilith was saying.

Katrina listened to the dragons a moment, then shook her head at Lilith.
"I'm sorry I have never heard of Dragon Valley." Katrina, too, had not heard the small spot called that and so assumed it was some place in the dragon world.
"I, myself, am no expert on everything dragon-related. However, there are some in Tok, to whom I am related, that may be able to help you." Katrina said in an apologetic tone. "The problem is I cannot take you there just now. I have recently come from Tok in search of a small group refugees from Feretris. I will not go back before I find them. If you will not mind me asking, why was Tony taking you to a place of dragons? Perhaps I can help you, or, at the very least, I can state your case to Cedric. He is a man that knows much about dragons." Katrina was sincere in her offer to help, so long as it did not interfere with her mission.

Lilith kept her eyes lowered. It was painful to talk of Tony, no matter the subject or reason. "It was our fall back plan, if any thing went wrong with the raid-- and it did." She looked up then, though not quite into Katrina's eyes, which she could barely see in the flickering fire-light any way. "He came to our people to aid our fight against Feretris. He said that many of his kin, such as yourselves, disliked the situation there but would not lift a hand or a claw to help. I do not pretend to judge. Many of our own people also refuse to, or cannot, fight. But we gathered those who were willing, and for the most part the raid was a success. I do not know if it is our people that you look for, but we were scattered after the raid, and most have died."
She caught herself, realizing that she still hadn't answered Katrina's question. "It was our fall back plan because he said that one of his kin lived there. I have no idea their relation, but perhaps it is this Cedric. He never mentioned names. But it was someone more, mmh, sympathetic to our cause, someone who was..." She paused again, but this time out of reluctance. "...preparing for possible future attacks. Some involved in gaining sympathies for our cause."

Katrina heard Lilith out, her heart sinking as she listened. It wasn't so much that she felt patriotic to her mother-land, but that the news of raids and war, along with the resurfacing of the draconic race, spelt disaster for the future. The time to come would not be one of peace.
"I know a few who fit the description and Cedric seems likely to be him, if not related to the one you speak of. I do not know exactly how it works, but all the dragon-bonded I have met are related in some way. When I say Tony is my kin, I mean more than just that he is like me. Tony and I were most likely related." The pang of loss was slight, but present. It was only recently since she had seen men as something more than a hazard to be controlled. But to know that her family was out there, being slaughtered sent a mix of emotions running through her, not least of which was an intense sorrow and a burning fury.
Slowly, by degrees, she was coming to see why the rest of the world hated Feretris. But it was still her home...the place she had come from and she did not change to come with a river of blood. Still, she understood that the heavy hand of Feretris would not be moved by weak and futile words.
"I will tell Cedric what you have told me when I see him next. Many do not condone what Feretris does, but do not expect every last dragon to flock to your cause." The last thing the dragons needed was to become embroiled in a war that would span most of the known world.
"Do you have anywhere safe to go in the morning?" Katrina asked. She wasn't about to leave them completely stranded as long as they knew where they were headed.

Lilith listened intently to Katrina, but seemed deflated at her question. "We head north, looking for a valley of dragons. Until then we will not be safe," she answered simply. "But in any case we must rest."
Although Lilith was tired of talking, the two dragons might have some of their own concerns to talk about in the morning. In fact, they might know a little bit more than Katrina about what Lilith had told her; or, at least, they were in a better position to find out, since their humans were currently in the dragon world.
In the morning, they agreed, the two groups should part.

When morning came, Katrina was up early. She had sorted out a scant few supplies they could spare, provided the shaved some time off their journey. She had complied a few necessities and about a half-days rations for the whole group. She had wrapped it up in a blanket, which she figured the young boy could use for the next night.
"Here Lilith, its all I could spare." Katrina said, almost apologetically. "I truly hope we meet again. I wish you good fortune in your cause and safe journeys in your travels." Though she was sincere, a small part of Katrina hoped that the hardship would dissuade the other woman from her violent course of action.
There had to be a better way.

(Ok, just so you know, I'm PMing some of the players that have not posted in a while, to find out if the group you will be meeting is all NPCs or what xd You WILL meet a group but I want to see if any of the PCs will come back)
