At first it went down nice and easily, slow and steadily. This isn't so bad I guess... "Wahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!" But it quickly the sled picked up speed. H-how do I stop!? Do I just wait!? But what if I want to stop now!? Purizu put some pressure on the front of the bark with his paws, but it just went faster that way. Wait! Do I put more weight on the-!? But it was already too late, accidentally he put all of his weight on the front of the bark and he flipped of, flying a feet or more so into the air and landing face-flat into the snow. That wasn't too bad I think... I guess to stop I shift my weight to the rear or try and turn the bark to its side...

((I'm leaving on vacation on Sunday, and I'll need to pack tomorrow, so I'm afraid this RP needs to come to an end. That's why I'm writing this post as such. Feel free to reply to this though, and if I have time, I may add one more response. Sorry it was so short! x__X))
Serra watched as Purizu took his first sled ride. He did well at first, but somewhere in the middle, something went wrong. The poor Ulaya took quite a fall off the bark, but he seemed okay after he landed.
Giggling, Serra jogged over to the crash site. "Don't worry, most Ulayas crash their first time. Experience is really the best teacher." She quickly brushed off some small piles of snow from Purizu's fur. "Next time, I'm sure you'll do much-"
"Serra! Serra, my dear, come over here and give your mother a kiss!"
Serra turned to face her mother as she walked towards her house. "Give me just a minute, mom!" she called back, then looked at Purizu once more, blushing. "She has a habit of stopping by without letting me know first...I'm sorry to cut the sledding short, but she'll be very upset if I don't spend the day with her."

((Same, except for me it's tomorrow. =D))
Purizu got up and shook the snow off his fur. "It's alright, I can understand... sorta, I guess." Purizu never really knew what it was like to have some what of a naggy parent. He walked over to the bark and picked it up then dragged it over to her. "You want this back? Not that often are huge junks of bark just laying around..."
His ears twitched a moment in sadness, wishing someone would call for him to come over every once in a while or something, no one ever called for him. "So I guess this is bye for now, right?" He mentally sighed, this was another reason he didn't like meeting new Ulaya, it was always so sad to say good bye for some reason. Perhaps I should say "see you later" from now on then?
