"I'm fine." Bly stopped spinning and watched her pace. He bounced up and down instead and sighed every few seconds in the silence. "What are we doing?" he stammered suddenly breaking the quiet atmosphere. It was very boring to watch the purple mare pace.

He grinned. "Sure. I'll beat you though." He drew an invisible line. "This is the starting line." he stated and stood there ready to go. It was highly unlikely that he would beat her, but that colt had failed to think of that possibility. For him there was only winning available in this game.

"That tree." he said without telling her where it was. There was lots of trees around them. "Readysetgo!" he said quickly and took off running. He grinned but ended up getting a mouthfull of wind. After that he kept his mouth closed while running.

Niele watched him for a couple minutes.Was tree was it?She watched the tree he was headed for.She flew after hm.Her hoofs hit the ground hard."Back here you little monster!"

"Stop being so silly. I'm not a monster." he stopped and laughed. Then he remembered they were racing and ran again. She had of course made it there before him, but maybe she didn't know that. "I win! Yay!" he said joyfully convincing himself that it was in fact he that had won. He pranced around in circles and bucked wildly.
