Ramus was nto surpised by her move and little did he know she wasnt about to prance away and even if he had, he was head strong and would never back down. besides it would take alot more to hurt this head strong stallion who was use to being knocked around. he went along with her attack, thinking she would prance away, and alow him to grab at ehr tail or mane, whatever was close.

Dafina's ears pinned back against her head. The shiny necklace and bracelets she wore clinked with each quick stride. Lowering her head, she quickly closed the distance. Aiming to hit head to head, literally, with Ramus. Even if it meant she might knock herself out.
She wasn't going to back down now. It was too late to even try to stop her forward momentum. And even if she tried, well, they'd end up colliding anyway.

Ramus made no attempt to back down and stop before collieding with Dafina. he was way too damn stubbern and head strong to ever back down unless he knew it would be a foolish mistake that might cost him big time. ears pinned back, he contiuned his forward lunge that he had no time to stop even if he wanted and let happen what happen. as his father said, he was hard headed, head strong, stubbern and foolish like his old man.

In the last foot or so of space that closed between them, the mare jumped forward with all she could. Her tail whipping wildly behind her as she crashed head first into him. The last thing she heard was a quick crack and everything went blank.
Apparently, Ramus' head was a lot harder than she thought. Her ears hung loose as she stumbled backward. A confused look on her face before her knees buckled and she tried to catch herself. Stumbling a bit on her hooves. Ok, maybe that really hadn't been such a good idea.

one minute he was lunging head long into Dafina, the next he had a splitting head ache. this one not one of his brighter idea's and his head ached like no tommorrow and felt like someone smacked him across the head with a rock or hoof. groaning, he staggared backwards, almost falling over from the collussion. trying to regain his footing, he also tryed to regain his barings of what was going on if the blasted headache would stop making his head feel like it had been split open by a rock or hoof. managing a laugh, he then groaned again. " not a bright idea was it?"

By now, the feeling of just having to lay down took over. And thats what she did. Her knees finally collapsed as did she. Laying on her belly, she looked up at him with a dazed look in her eyes.
"No I-" Dafina tried to rub her head against her knee, but failed. "I don't believe that was." She was able to manage a shaky laugh, but it soon dissipated as her ears stopped ringing. Man, that really was stupid. But hey, at least she proved she could pull her own weight in a brawl. Even if it did leave her with a throbbing head.

Ramus still swayed as he tryed to regain stable footing and his ears rung like he had been place under a bell with someone smacking it. " atlest ...." he had to close his eyes a moment while he spoke. " we can agree on that." tryign not to fall over from hitting heads was a hard thing to do and with a small step he thought he could manage to strightin himself up instead of looking like a fool, caused him to fall right into the snow. " you know this is definatly not what i had in mind." just flopping onto his side, he would have to admit the fact that she could handle brawling with him even if it all ended with smacking heads.

Dafina grinned. A small chuckle escaping from her lips as she gave her head a little shake. Although that left her feeling a little light headed. She watched as Ramus flopped over into the snow. Her black tail flicking back and forth against the white. "Hey, the unexpected is fun. Even if you do end up with a ringing head ache afterwards. But you can't say you didn't have fun, no can you?"

Ramus gave a snort then gave a small chuckle. " i suppose your right and yeahi have to admit it was fun. " slowly he got back to his feet as the throbing head ache and riging was slowly going away after the head crashing. " so its safe to asume your alright even after smacking heads with me?" smirking, he now eyed her, figuring the answer would be that she was fine though he wondered if Dafina would even admit she wasnt alright.

"Good. See, I'm not all that bad." Dafina gave another giggle but made no move to leave her resting position. It just felt a lot better to be laying down than standing at the moment. The brawl had tired her out just a bit.
Giving a small toss of her short mane, she grinned widely. "Of course I'm ok. Nothing but a scratch!" She laughed haughtily, raising her nose into the air and letting the laughs loose into the air. "I just need to catch my breath. Your a pretty good brawler when you wanna be."

"i suppose someone who giggles like that cant be all that bad." Ramus tossed his own mane, and gave a flick of his tail that swished about the snow that was all messed up from their brawl. " pffft nothign but a scratch indeed." snickering, he was now able to be stable on his feet and had no want to just lay and rest even after hitting his head as he was headstrong like that. "alright then catch your breath and good to know i proved i am a good brawler."

The tingling sensation from the snow against her legs and belly started to set in. Every growing, it finally urged her from the ground onto her hooves. Stumbling a few steps but then finally regaining her balance.
A wide grin spread across her face as he spoke. "Can't be all that bad huh? My Ramus. If I didn't know better I'd figure you were warming up to me." She giggled lightly and gave him a small wink. Flicking her tail wildly to brush away any snow clinging to her back legs. "And yes. You more than proved to be a good brawler."

Ramus sifted a bit as he stood still, to keep the circulation going as the snow had chilled him. giving a small grunt, he stomped one hoof lightly in the snow. " maybe i am and maybe i'm not, or maybe just maybe i'm completely nuteral about it all." he then smirked at the brawling comment, as he had pride in his brawling ablities. " so now what? i don't think theres much to do here in the snow unless you know of something."

"Well, maybe one day I'll get a straight answer out of you Ramus. Or maybe not. Who knows?" She flashed him a coy smile before glancing up at the sky. It had grown dark fairly quickly during their time of brawling.
Her eyes lowered to gaze at him, her smile growing softer before she let out a small sigh. Eyes closing for just a moment before opening half way. "I suppose for now I should head home. My mother is going to be worried about me I'm sure." Giving a flick of her tail, she cantered up to him and nipped at his ear with a grin before prancing backwards and away. "Promise me we'll meet up again, eh Ramus? Sometime soon, ok?" With that, she dashed off into the dark forest. Her hoof beats growing fainter by the second as she set off for home.
But who knew what was in store for her when she got there.

" yep who knows if you ever will." Ramus knew he better get going as it was getting late. a amused grin was on his face as it seemed they always tended to brawl then have to go after a bit. " yeah i better get going myself." he blinked and his ear twitched at the ear n** he receved from Dafina. a brow raised in shock at her last words before she took off with out another word. " sure." was all his muttered under his breath as she left and then he did too, knowing he needed to get back for it got way dark.
