"Oh, I don't know, it could be fun." He grinned teasingly. "And what's interesting for you couldn't be a bad thing for me, right?" He was barely even aware of the innuendo that created, but it wasn't as if he'd object to it, either.
He brushed a small bit of snow- or was it frost?- from her wings with a gentle brush of his maw, chuckling again at her words. "Well I'm glad I've changed your opinion- however little it may have changed. And yes, I'll concede to the fact that I'm a clumsy brute- but as long as I'm your clumsy brute, that doesn't matter much."
He shifted a moment, then his eyes brightened again as he remembered why he'd gone away. "So, are you ready to meet my mother, then?"

Her smirk only grew wider as she tilted her head to the side. Giving him a coy look. But didn't say a word. Keeping the little bit of amusement to herself for the time being.
Roxy's wings twitched at the brushing, but soon settled down once more. Resting against one another. Though the sudden question of meeting his mother once arose and they twitched once more in a nervous fashion.
Well, she had agreed to do it. Even if she was a bit sketchy about it. Eventually she'd have to come face to face with the mare who she 'stole' her baby boy from. "I....I guess so."

He chuckled a bit at her uneasy answer, nuzzling at her dark mane and suppressing a shiver as a cold breeze blew past them, moving to shield her from it with his own body. "It's nothing to be afraid of, I swear. She was delighted to hear that I have a lady love, and eager to meet you. My father will be the troublesome one, but he's not all that bad... he just might tease us a bit about it."
He shifted his weight, noting her nervousness as he conceeded that it could wait. "Anyway, we don't have to go right away, if you'd rather stay here with me for a while. We should find someplace a bit warmer, though..." he didn't want her getting sick from the cold, with how long she'd been out here waiting for him already- especially since he just promised her that he'd take care of her.
Cerulean irises lifted from her petite form to scan the surrounding area, settling upon the distant cliffs nestled into the hillsides a fair walk away. "How about there? I'm willing to bet that there are some caves over that way, we could at least spend the night there before we decide what we're doing. It'll be dark soon, anyway, and it won't be safe to be out in the cold much longer."

A violent shiver ran through out her body as the cold wind blew past. She hadn't really noticed how cold it was until now. Now that her mind wasn't worrying about when and if he would return.
She wasn't afraid, just...nervous. Like anyone would be when meeting someone else's parents for the first time. Giving a nod of her head, she glanced up at him before looking towards the cliffs he was looking at. "Brr, someplace warmer would be nice. I didn't realize how cold its gotten I guess." Her wings shivered now as she pressed her body up against his.
