He blinked and turned to stare at Naomi. "Other Kiri foals?" he repeated in an almost confused manner. He tilted his head at her. "You're the first Kiri I've met." Yunxu suddenly realized that it was a bit odd that he had never encountered another Kirishitsuno until now.

"Really? No mum?..." She found this very odd indeed yet interesting at the same time because other then her mother she too had never met another Kiris now that she had really thought about it. She was staring at the frost covered berry for some time till she spoke up. " Your the first real Kiris I've met too..." A thought dawned on her. Would he be the only other Kirishitsuno she'd met for months, maybe even years?

Yunxu stared at Naomi for a while longer before he flicked his ear and turned back to the bush of berries. He plucked one off the branch and rolled it around in his mouth. "I never knew a mother," he admitted with a frown. He munched on the berry in his mouth.

Naomi now forgot that she was hungry with the news of Yunxu not ever knowing a mother. She didn't know if this was something she should ask but she did anyways wanting to know the answer. "If you had no mother...How did you live on your own?" The thought was just to weird to her. She couldn't wrap her mind around it.

He shrugged at the question. "It's not so hard to live on my own," he answered. He glanced over at Naomi. "Have you never tried to live on your own?"

"I am now aren't I?" She wondered if he ment for that to sound rude but figured she'd let it slide because what she had asked him what probly taken the same way. All I ment was 'was it hard for you growing up?'"

Yunxu gave another rolling shrug of his shoulder in answer to the question. "I never really thought about whether it was hard or not," he said. He never really even gave much thought to his life growing up. It was all in the past now anyway.

"Guess you just wouldn't notice growing up." Naomi took a deep breath. She didn't want go on about this topic any longer. She looked up the the sun as it started to shine though the trees, it started to warm everything it touch. It melted the frost on the leafs and berries. Naomi noticed this and eat a few more then she started to walk away. "I'm going to find water. You coming?"

He blinked after Naomi as she turned away. She was actually inviting him along? Yunxu wasn't really one to socialize with others; after all, he hadn't had very many encounters with others in his lifetime. But it surprised him that she would still want his company. He considered his options before settling on an answer. "I could use a bit of refreshments," he admitted as he walked away from the berry bush.

Naomi was surprised that Yunxu took the offer. "Oh...Right then." She smiled and waited form him to catch up before she started to walk again. "Do you know any good ponds? or should we just go to the brook I saw the other day?" She asked him thinking it might be nice if he had a say in where they go.

Yunxu wasn't all that familiar with this area, but he didn't care to let Naomi know that. "I suppose the brook will do well enough," he answer like he was settling on it because there was nothing better.

Naomi snorted, how come Yunxu always seemed to be putting her down or so it felt. "Well if you know some where better then be my guess" She sighed and lowered her head.

Yunxu shook his head as he flicked his tail. "I'm sure your brook will do fine enough," he assured her. He glanced around the forest, wondering absently how long this frost would cover the forest.

"Ok" She said and trotted on. They got to the babbling brook in no time. Naomi stopped by the edge of the brook and notices that the edges had a thin layer of ice. She smiled and broke it with her horn by poking at it for fun. "Cool." She said to her self and began to drink.

Standing back, Yunxu tilted his head and watched curiously at Naomi's odd actions. He shrugged it off after a moment and approached the edge of the brook. Leaning his head down, he drank from it.
