Clarissa paused for a moment to register what everyone had said. When she began speaking her bubbly attitude dissipated. "Tank tops are okay, cigarettes definitely not. My name is Clarissa, not Barbie girl, and I already told Rain the answer to that question Odori. Alex, you'll be in B2. I don't know whether you'll be having a roommate yet. Sometimes a bus arrives late. Any more questions, comments, or wisecracks?" she asked, one hand on her hip.

Henry scowled as Cameron easily passed him on the way to their cabin. His shoulders ached and he just wanted to drop everything and hike back down the mountain they had come up. But of course that was out of the question. Eventually he managed to arrive at the door, breathless. "Do you mind opening that?" he asked Mr. Popular, panting slightly.

Rain looked over her shoulder, "Quite a few but I don't like to shout!" she called to Clarissa before reaching her own cabin and opening the door. Seeing two beds she threw her bags to the closest one not particularly caring about anything her room mate wanted. She had managed to get thrown out of several camps just being herself and she seemed to already be getting on Clarissa's nerves. Having been on the bus all day she though about changing clothes but quickly decided she didn't care. Her black jeans were wrinkled as was her tight black AC DC tank top. Sighing she ran a hand through her long hair before her mind wondered to what's for lunch and what kind of place this was. What was risky and how long was she supposed to be here for in truth she knew nothing other than it was a chance to get away from her parents and she had been ditched at bus stop.

Cameron smiled, trying to be at least remotely friendly to his panting roommate that he had been waiting for. He didn't know what kind of weirdos were at this camp, or what they would do to him if he got on their bad side. "Sure," he said, opening the door. "Need some help?" Cameron figured that his help would be refused, and he wouldn't have to. Still, the gesture might be appreciated. Lunch was apparently soon, and he didn't want to have to wait up for Henry. Looking at the guy and holding the door and his bags, he wasn't able to see the inside of the cabin. He prayed that it looked nice, at least a little bit. In case everyone hadn't noticed, he wasn't exactly used to going to camp. He rarely ever left his city, at least the inhabited part of it. This camp was clearly previously uninhabited, he thought with an inward sigh.

She followed Rain to the cabin, partially annoyed for a reason she couldn't really identify. Sighing, she pushed the annoyance away and focused on the path lest she trip and hurt herself. As she entered the cabin, she saw the other girl throw her belongings onto the bed closer to her and she did the same. It was a bunk. Not like it really mattered. She glanced down at her light blue jeans and plan black t-shirt, before giving a satisfactory nod. Looking at the other girl, she offered up a sheepish smile. "Almost forgot. My names Odori. Please tell me you don't participate in cheery greetings or any other kind of preppy activity?"

Alex watched as the other walked off, shrugging. If the others wanted to be anti-social, so be it. He walked to his cabin to put his things away before making his way to the lunch hall and waited for the others to arrive.

Henry looked at Cameron, his expression one of mild perplexment before he kicked his bags through the door by himself. "Shouldn't you be heading to lunch?" he asked, throwing (or rather lifting rather painfully and dropping) his bags one by one on the simple bed with clean blue sheets. The room had wooden panelled walls and the windows had square panes with white curtains. A bureau stood at the foot of each bed, and a door apparently led to a bathroom.

Cameron watched as Henry kicked his bags into the room and followed him inside the cabin, looking around the room, his chin arched towards the ceiling. It was alright. Nothing like home of course, but at least it wasn't like the horror stories that he watched on television. His own bed was completely identical to Henry's, and both were very low to the floor. Placing his bags on his bed, he drew open the curtains with little effort, letting the afternoon light into the room, hitting the center. Finally, he turned to Henry again. "Shouldn't you?" he asked, not knowing what else to say. If the guy wanted to be a pain, he didn't know how he was expected to act in return. Certainly not like an angel, but also not like a snob. What was he going to do? A whole summer with this... guy?

"Rain" she said offering her own name more out of habit than actual listening before her mind forced her back into the real world. Having been staring out into space she pulled her attention to the girl name Odori as the question sunk in, "Yea I have the unnerving need to cheer everything I say!" she said with false happiness before sobering up, "No the closest I come to cheer leading is taking a baseball bat to their cars or paint balling their houses." Shaking her head as she remembered the first time the cops had found a way to link it to her she remembered that was the week she had been out of school for 'chicken pox' after her parents lost their temper again. "Sorry not really the pink wearing football cheering kind of girl" As her stomach grumbled reminder her of lunch she thought out loud as she often did, "I hope they have good food here."

Henry rolled his eyes before turning around to face Cameron. After a few seconds he couldn't think of anything clever to say in response, so he just left the cabin, walking back down to the cafeteria. Hopefully something good would be waiting for him - he felt half starved. He pushed open the cafeteria doors and went to the line where he saw adults with trays of food. Today's lunch was pizza it would seem, with your choice of extra cheese, pepperoni, or everything. Henry accepted two slices of extra cheese and some silverware. At the end of the line was a tray with chocolate chip, sugar, or peanut butter cookies, of which he took one chocolate chip and one peanut butter. Okay, so he wasn't going to starve. A drink machine was next to the line, and it had a wide variety of sodas and juices, along with some water for the health-conscious. He poured himself an orange soda and looked for somewhere to sit down. The tables were round and blue, and each had four seats around it. He chose one in a corner away from the door and set his tray down, sliding into the seat.

Cameron was mildly shocked by the fact that the guy had just... left. At least he expected some sort of response, even a nod. He sighed, aloud this time, looking at his bags. "I guess I'll pack after lunch," he said to himself, taking one last look around the cabin before heading after the long gone Henry to the cafeteria. This camp didn't seem to have very many members as of late.

When he did in fact get into the lunch hall, it wasn't very crowded, though he did spot his roommate sitting by himself. The boy didn't seem to notice Cameron, which was just fine with him.

He wasn't very hungry, but he stood in line nonetheless. He considered the different choices before deciding on just cheese. Clearly this camp wasn't horribly funded, Cameron thought, picking up his silverware and allowing himself only one sugar cookie. His parents never really let him eat much chocolate, though he did anyways. He hesitated once before grabbing a chocolate chip cookie, his silverware and some Diet Pepsi.

Looking at the uniform tables, he decided not to sit too close to Henry, to avoid conversation, and chose a seat near the door, where he could possibly observe the others as they came in.

Henry noticed Cameron as he sat down. Weirdo. Using silverware to eat pizza? Henry took a bite of his own. He couldn't help but give a mental thumbs up to the cooks - it was real pizza, and it was great. Something unexpected. He washed the pizza down with his orange soda and looked around. It seemed that not everyone was there yet.

The nurse sighed, sitting in her spinning chair and tapping her pen against the table. She was desperately anxious for one of the kids to get injured, sick, get a bug bite - anything. The woman eyed the syringes on the top shelf, marked with strange enigmatic names like Canis Lupus and Apis Mellifera.

She grinned at the comment about the bat and using it on cars, understanding perfectly. "Thank god," she said, "I've found someone I might actually be able to get along with." Glancing around the room, she made sure that her belongings were still by her bed, before heading towards the door. "I hope so too, though it's not really a big deal. Probably be the same kind of food they offer at public schools."

With a sigh he decided to go ahead and get in line for a tray. He wasn't really that hungry, but it would probably be a good idea to eat at least once a day... Grabbing a tray, he picked up two slices of pepperoni and a bottle of water. As he exited the line he noticed that there were two other boys already seated, both of whom he had seen on the bus that morning. One was sitting in a corner and the other was near the door. The one in the corner seemed kind of...odd, so he chose to go sit next to the one by the door, on the opposite side of the table. "Hello!" he said cheerily, offering up a grin as he took a huge bite of the pizza.

Rain grinned, "Only one way to find out! I am starved!" Taking off at a run she edged by Odori trying not to hit her and yet not fall, it was a miracle she didn't hit the door on the way out. Looking over her shoulder, "Save you a seat?" she asked not really wanting to have to sit alone she did that enough at school. People generally didn't want to be friends with someone who you couldn't go to their house and she really couldn't leave it. Making it to the cafeteria quickly she skidded to a stop as she went through the door as her balance almost failed her again. Blowing her disheveled hair back from her face she grabbed a tray, slice of cheese, pepperoni, and then got a Pepsi. Seeing scattered people she choose an empty table and flopped in it almost falling out. For one who spent her life on the go and could do cart wheels on balance beams, when it came to walking she had much more trouble staying on her feet.

((haha, like the hair copyright! ^.^))

Odori was more than a little surprised as the other girl rushed by her on her way to the cafeteria. She had a feeling she was going to get along very will with Rain. Smirking, she ran her fingers through her hair to straighten it somewhat, before following after her at a more sedate pace. When she entered the large room she made her way through the line, grabbing the same thing Rain had taken. Exiting the line, she glanced over at the three boys in curosity, especially the two by the door, before making her way over to Rain. "Well? School food or is it edable??" she joked, before pulling out the chair next to her and turning slightly so she could see the whole room.

Henry watched the other boy and the girls he had seen earlier enter the cafeteria. They all avoided him, naturally. He shrugged, and pulled out a notepad and pen from his pocket. He carefully sketched a little doodle of the front of the camp, and flipped a page. He next drew what he could remember of his room, and then the cafeteria. Henry had a tendency to draw or write when he was bored. He bit into a cookie and glanced around at the others again. Rain and Odori were sitting together, and Alex had sat next to Cameron. So everyone was making friends without him. Whatever. He decided he would go back to the cabin when he had finished. Clearly he wasn't wanted here.

She glanced around the room again, noting that the ones called Alex and Cameron seemed to be sitting together, though she wasn't really sure if the atmosphere was any good. And then here she and Rain were, but then that left the other boy. She knew what it was like to sit alone, especially since her family had a tendency to move every few months or so. Grinning, she turned to Rain. "I'll be right back. I'm gonna get us another table mate." Smirking, she stood and quickly made her way over to the table that the one boy was sitting at. She looked at his pictures, mentally pointing out the pro's and con's of the peice, before speaking. "What'cha draaawing," she asked lazily, leaning over his shoulder from the right.
