"Fair enough," he bobbed his head in the Aadil like fashion, "Follow me?" He started towards The Tree, he did not feel like beng goofy like the many months before where he woud wibble and wobble to a beat only he and possibly Tete could hear. He started his walk with a hard look plastered across his face.
He summoned up pictures of Boma the small time he had with her and was trying hard to decide why he had fallen so hard for her. They had met once and both in lonliness created Tetemeko, he had never been told about the way love works an Boma'burudi was the closest he had to a real love. Kiasi..well she was a new friend someone that he had intimate feelings for, somewhat like like the way he felt for Boma'burudi, Boma could have tainted his feelings for others forever.

Tete nodded, and got up to follow along after his dad. He hardly noticed that his father didn't have the same spring in his step he usually did, for the same thing was missing from Tete's own walk. He wasn't feeling quite as bouncy as normal, he felt.. weird. This was all completely unexpected, not at all like what he'd expected to be told about his mother.
Feathers from his mother.. it could still be a joke, right? Lots of things had feathers, they could be from anywhere. Tete had no idea what her wings looked like, and he had no idea just how unique her feathers were.

Kubwa would think anyone saying his mother was a goddess was a fool, but he rememered Wahabu, and how his mother had been a goddess an he never knew, not until Kubwa made a mess. How odd his life had turned now he was telling a new person their mother was a goddess, a beautiful goddess indeed.
After some time walking Kubwa stopped infront of the tree, which in Kubwa's youth seemed so far away from home, but it really was closer than he ever thought. He bent stiffly and took a deep breath, the feathers had been hidden in the trees roots for safe keeping, something he was sure would have pleased Boma. He rooted (pun intended..>.>) around in the earth and pulled the string they were attached too yanking the golden and silver jeweled feathers from the earth.
"So..here we are." He dangled them so that Tetemeko could see.

When they reached the tree that Kubwa had left the feathers in, Tete took a seat and simply watched- wondering how the tree was a good place to keep feathers when they were so easy to have blow away and such. For all they knew, they'd blown away long ago! But when Kubwa showed him the feathers, Tete knew exactly why they'd been safe there and that his father couldn't be lying.
No birds could have feathers like that, right?
"W-wow," he mumbled, not sure what else there really was to say now.
