Lundy looked up at Banda for a brief moment then got back on his stool. He sat quietly and off to the side. He shushed and nodded his head slightly, making a mental note not ot call Banda 'Sir' or 'Mr'. He took the pencil from behind his ear and started a small sketch.
He looked his paper over, and with a satisfing nod, he raised his hand slightly. He was shy, and rather nervous.

Odd erased his entire paper. No, he couldn''t draw himself. Nonono! He couldn''t focus, and he was getting dizzy, and overworked, and...he shut his eyes. Mum said when he got too worked up to just close his eyes and count to ten, and take deep breathes. He did this, and opened his eyes. He saw the paper with a fresh look. How abot just a monkey? With a happy nod, he set to work, and pretty soon was done.

Kailee, after finishing her picture, strode over to Banda's desk and placed it there, beside everyone else's. She had forgotten everyone's eye colors, so instead, had decided to leave them all artistically blank.
(Which basically means i'm a lazy p***k xD)

((Sorry for the wait, all >.< I'ma fast-forward in time some <3))
"Very nice," Banda exclaimed after circling the room a time or two. "Very nice indeed. Much better than I had expected, at any rate..." Smiling only a tad nervously, he started for the board and picked up a piece of chalk. "Right, now, let's begin."

Classes had been going much better than Banda could ever have expected. With such a small class, it was easy to ensure that everyone received enough individual attention, and already all students had progressed considerably since their first day. Banda couldn't have been prouder.
Of course, there was always room for improvement. Even with his own work.
Banda frowned thoughtfully at his half-completed watercolor, but soon just sighed and set his paintbrush aside. He would finish later. Back to teaching. "Alright everyone," he began, turning his attention back to the small class. "Today begins your first big project. As you know, we've been focusing mainly on inanimates... Vases, flowers, etc. Starting today we're going to broaden that. Using a colored medium of your choice, I want you to draw, paint, whateveryouchoose a landscape. Due one week from today."
Assignment: Create (or find) a landscape scene using a medium of your choice, provided that the picture is in color. Points will be awarded according to completetion, difficulty level, and quality of the resulting picture.

Kailee hadn't given much thought to the project Banda had assigned - she had done it all in one night, with an inking pen and some sketch paper, and then had scanned it into Lenta's computer and given it a quick smooth colored finish. Hopefully Banda wouldn't mind; he -had- said any medium, but Kailee wasn't sure Adobe Photoshop was on the official 'mediums' list.
After her other classes, Kailee slipped into the art classroom, placing her picture on Banda's desk and sliding into her seat.

 Odd frowned at the picture down at him, dried and crinkled at the edges with the corners turned up. He had sat in the forest for hours drawing it and painting over the penciling. He hadn't bothered to erase the pencil because he thought it made it look...sketchy? Truth be told, he had first been lazy, but then he thought it looked kinda funky, and kept it. He liked forests. There was so much to look at...which had made him take more hours to finish up. So many distractions! But eventually he was able to focus his attention on the picture.
So, with evident pride and satisfaction, Odd turned in his watercolored picture.
((Yes, it is the tree from InuYasha. xd I like that tree.))
