The_Wicked_Man I didn't know Tom Wilkinson is in this; loved him in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Emily Rose, however, does look pretty cool. Wasn't there some sort of controversey surrounding the film though? I think so. I think the family didn't want to make a whole movie about the recordings or whatever because it's personal. I think the recordings were from 19 years ago or something. Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless mind confused me slightly, I think because I missed a chunk of the beginning.

Daikonsen wow that looks like a awesome movie. But I got a question do you have to watch the other exorcist to get it? I mean I only saw the first one. I am on the boat with the rest of you how much is it true?? White noise pulled the same thing but if you notice the new trialers of the white noise doesnt say it is based on a true film. You don''t really have to watch the other exotcist movies i think to get it just the first!

I saw it and it was pretty good. Not really all that scary though. More Law and Order than Exorcist though.

I was going to go see it when it first came out but I read a review that said its trailers were misleading. It's actually more like a courtroom drama than scary exorcist movie. So I'll probably wait for it to come out on video before I go see it.

My sister saw it and told me it sucked. She usually has good decisions when it comes to good and bad movies so I trust her opinions.
I'll wait for it to come out on dvd or cable I guess...

it was actually pretty good. they could have used some more gore, but then it wouldn;t be believeable at all.

(POSSIBLE SPOILERS) Yeah it was going over the case to find whether she was killed my demonic possession or the priest was responsible for neglectful homicide, but it was still good. (Or I thought anyway)It wasn't too scary but the film was still worth seeing nontheless. The one part that scared me was when the old man got hit by the car randomly. People getting hit by cars makes me upset, maybe because I've seen videos of people getting hit by cars in real life. Damn odd emails my dad gets...

I liked the movie.
It was less a horror movie than it seemed, maybe, but I really liked the inner turmoil between the characters, and just the dynamics of the case itself.
Really, a good film.
Not a great horror film, but a good movie, as a whole.
