"I just thought you...Nevermind, it's silly. Forgive me.." The pup replied, eyes cast elsewhere than the larger wolf for fear of making an even fool of herself. How daft is she? She knows perfectly well what she was doing! Her mind snapped, and Flame silently thanked the heavens that Rally wasn't a seer like Tiah was, lest she hear it.
"Oh.That was sure a good answer. "I'm sorry I didn't know..." She apologized quickly, seeming to do alot of that lately.
"Of course if you want to, M-...Rally. But, I haven't an idea how to hunt.." The pup admitted bashfully. Her parents and pack-members hunted for her food, besides, she was much to small, it'd take an extreme amount of effort to fell even a rabbit.

Rally indeed was a bit draft when it came to the idea of hurting another wolf. Prey was one thing, but another she just couldn't fathom the whole idea...or even a smidgen of it. Rally's ears welted back and then her tail slowed again.
"Yeah, sorry. I try and eat before adventuring, but I haven't seen my sister lately." This factor spoken out made her welted ears stay back, and her face turned from the other.
"As for the hunting, don't worry about it, the fawn is injured there is also blood on the root." With that stated, the serious and downtrodden femme transformed back to her original persona. "So wanna come with?"

Her sister? So she had family as well? But, apparently something had gone wrong between the two, judging by Rally's reaction to the subject. Flame couldn't help but wonder what, though.
'She was probably attacked by her like I almost was and ran off...'
Shaking her head to rid herself of the mean thought, Flame looked at Rally. Older wolves did know best about hunting, she assumed. And she /did/ need to learn sometime.
"Alright."

Tail wagging again, Rally looked back towards the other and smiled, "You're a nice wolf, Flame," Ralphina wasn't about to call the other a pup and accidentally insult her, though with her having that momentary common sense thought run through her mind, maybe she was growing mentally too.
Nobody would hold their breath for Rally or Shelby in that catagory, but spinning around again in a wide birth of a circle. Rally's white snip wrinkled up as she sniffed the air figuring out where the fawn had gone. Left, no that was old scent, right, fresher and....blood on the ground.
"This way," she stated darting between two spruces and following the splatter of blood. Rally's energy, though wild, suddenly all became ridged and deadly. She was a hunter in this moment, not a hyper teenager looking for her lost sister.

The young pup was quite surprised at the Rally's response, unable to find what she had done that was really exceptionally 'nice'. Polite, possibly, but that was in her breeding, her instinct, possibly. "Thank you. You are as well." She replied softly, a little embarrassed.
Bringing herself to her paws the fire-pelted young femme turned and watched the older wolf scent for the deer, mentally taking notes on everything she did. Though she quite doubted that they'd ever find that prey, or even pick up the scent, the bright orange wolf surprised her once more, giving an order before bounding off in pursuit. Quite shocked, Flame followed.

Rally's mind didn't work like everyone else's, well maybe only like her sister's, but that was still to be determined. Nose twitching she didn't even hear the reply, or stammered surprised yammer, of the other. Anyone that stood still long enough to even attempt to understand the rambling she-wolf was nice, unless of course they were trying to physically harm her, but that was for a later date.
Nose in the air and then brushing the ground ever so often, Rally almost forgot about Flame being behind her. The hyper teen's muscles ridged and tautly pulled into a sharp movements got even more dangerous as the blood seemed to thicken and the scent got heavier.
"Not far," she whispered to herself and walked off to the side of the scent trail. Ears pulled back Rally was a very different wolf, one that could have proven useful for ambushing, if her pelt wasn't so bright...though that was the main attack method the tri-colored femme used. After all being sneaky was her brother's forte.
"The fawn is bleeding to death," she commented outloud as the heavy scent of blood laid down on the ground like every other scent in the woods.

As young as she was, Flame still didn't fully understand death. She knew the basics, that everything had to die at one time or another, but beyond that she assumed it happened when creatures such as wolves and trees were old and that the process of dying put them out of their misery after a long and full life. But, this fawn? Bleeding to death? It just didn't seem right!
"W-What? But why?"
The pup whispered in reply, swallowing softly. She watched Rally in her 'ultra-hunter' mode, stopping a few feet behind the teen.

Ears pinning back and nose thrusting out more forwardly, the femme sniffed the air. Looking to Flame from the corner of her golden orbs, "I'm going to assume the mother left it and something got it pretty bad," She informed, "that is the only way you can actually track a fawn, unless it's already dying. My father told me that fawns don't have a scent and their mothers have to leave them in one area to find them again."
The femme spoke low and slow, not wanting to give away her position, though with the scent of blood in the air, death was holding the fawn's head now. "Killing it will be merciful," Ralphina whispered, moving cautiously forward and then lunging out, disappearing from the view behind the spiny bushes.

"Merciful..right." Flame nodded softly, swallowing the information down hard. Why would anything that bad happen to something so young? It was such a shame, the pup couldn't help but feel horrible for the poor fawn. But, it'd be helping it, putting it out of it's misery, right?
'Of course it won't! It'll still be murder!'
The voice in her head protested, causing the femme to lock her knees and stop in her tracks. "No..." she whispered.

The little fawn didn't feel anything more then for half a second. Snapping it's neck the blood began to slow down on bleeding out. It was a shame that this fawn was so bad off, but then again, Rally had learned from watching her father, not ever kill was the sick or weak. She just chose those unless she had no other choice.
Looking back, Rally could almost hear the other's knees lock up. Maybe there had been a reason that pups didn't go on hunts. They still saw everything in one light. Hell, Rally still saw everything in one light, but instincts kicked in at times.

Oh god, oh goodness gracious! It-she, she killed it! That poor fawn was there, it was alive, though probably not as well as it should've been, but she'd KILLED an innocent living thing! Without even a mother! It didn't even get to live!
In silent, shocked horror the young femme watched the life-blood of the deer trickling down it's spotted coat and staining it. Ears immediately flicked back, Flame taking a step back.
This just wasn't right! With a soft whimper the pup turned tail and raced away from the teenager.

Rally heard the other running away. She would have followed afterwards, but for this moment the hyper Rally was actually her namesake, Ralphina. A noble wolf that knew the difference of her actions. She would wish for forgiveness from Flame on another day, but not on this one. She needed to find her sister, even if that meant going to speak with Adolfo. He seemed to know everything about the border, and something about the pack just didn't suit well with the tri-colored femme.

Heart throbbing against her ribs Flame ran, tail tucked and ears back. If her paws were cut or poked by thorny bush along the way she didn't feel it. If her pelt was snagged or matted by burrs she felt nothing.
All that was on her mind was the sight of Rally, killing that fawn. It was too young! It'd barely lived at all! Sick wolves could get better, scratches could be healed, it didn't have to die without purpose! It was just wrong!
Wide-eyed, Flame mulled over these thoughts again and again as she attempted to get home, back to safety behind the waterfall where she could hopefully wipe the image of the dead fawn from her mind, the big brown eyes glazed over as it fell limp.
