"It isn't bad, I really like it there." Even if it were a bit lonely. Nothing was really there that she had seen so far that was alive aside from her.
Kris was distracted from her thoughts when Aurora was suddenly petting her tail. It caused the rainbow colored limb to swish back and forth in a happy manner before she flushed a bit, "Ahhh... hehe. Nice isn't it?" She said finally when she got the color to fade from her cheeks

"Y .... Yes, it is. Sorry... It just reminded me of something." This was, clearly, a lie. Fact of the matter was that Aurora failed miserable at holding back her thoughts and actions. Just like a child at a zoo, she was compelled to touch, to feel, and to experience everything around her-- whether it was wanted, intentional, even conscious or not. No no, Not these thoughts again. Like an Etch-A-Sketch, Aurora shook her head to clear her slate and start clean. Quickly, she moved herself away from the swishing distraction and walked almost beside the other goddess. Unrealized by either, Aurora's own clubbed tail was waving back and forth, very happy, if not just a little tense.

"Really?" Kris asked, looking a bit curious as to what her tail could remind someone of. How many things could a rainbow spotted tail remind someone of after all, "What did it remind you of?"
She paused in the walking to look into the window of a shop they were passing by, inspecting something in the window before moving along knowing they were getting closer and closer to the tasty scent. They would be upon it soon!

(That... was a very awkward paragraph to read xDD)
"A nightmare" she blurted out, without thinking... But hastily tried to correct herself. "A good one, though..!!"
Realizing that she was probobly just making it worse, she lowered her head and watched the bricks roll past her hoofed feet. By now, she had almost completely forgotten what they were walking towards, But it only took another light gust of wind to remind her. Ah, the warm and relaxing smell! Her chin lifted to better inhale the pungent scent. "Oh, I do hope it's muffins."
Again, she just couldn't keep it to herself.

(( My appologies. Sometimes things don't come out as well on paper as they sound in my head. @_@;; ))
"There are good nightmares?" She queried of her companion. She supposed maybe if they interesting enough? Or maybe a dream that started out bad and ended well? Her tail swished behind her as she thought about it. She'd had some strange dreams, ones that she was sure weren't dreams so much as memories.
A few more steps and the pair found themselves in front of a strange bakery where the treats were made up to look like various 'scary' things, "Here we are. Lets go in and see what they have." Kris said, opening the door for Aurora.

(xDD It happens to the best of us. I check my posts about six times for read-ability, hence why it takes an hour to post xDD)
Aurora was quiet, seemingly unsure about her right to enter a normal person's store. But... A very gentle smile crossed her rosy lips. Krishna was here, and that, somehow, made the young goddess feel that it'd all be okay. "Why thank ye, kindly!" jested with a light heart. Lifting the front of her long under-skirt, she carefully entered the store. Oh that heavenly scent! Honey ghost-sheet buns, chocolate-covered OMG shortbread, Peter marshmallow candies and blueberry... MUFFINS! The dark oranges and purples seemed inviting, and the smell had an ever-so-humbling way of making one feel as if they were at home.

Kris gave a grin before following Aurora into the store and looked around. It smelled so very nice in here, so much so that she couldn't control the wagging of her tail, "They have a lot of great looking stuff." She said, approaching the counter. She found herself searching for something that called out to her, the honey buns were most definitely doing that.
She ordered a couple of them before looking over at Aurora, "Find anything that you would like?" She asked. The older girl seemed to have smelled or seen something she wanted.

"Everything looks so wonderful." she mused, Blushing slightly, for no logical reason. However, she pondered for a moment longer, then motioned carefully to the small and spongy cupcakes-on-steroids. Quickly, she purchased a few. Oh how wonderful! The cashier, clad in red and black, dawned a pair of fake horns and tail. This is nice., Aurora thought to herself, He would never guess mine are real. "Kryyysss... I feel bad for not asking. How come you're out here? Is there something I'm keeping you from...? Or were you just out on a stroll?"

She looked over at Aurora for a long moment, thinking on the answer before she finally said, "I spend a lot of my time with my family. Don't get me wrong I love them but all of them: Shin, Keiji, The Twins, Vishal, and now his minion Pan... they are all guys. I try to emulate them, try to be like a boy too but there are times that hanging out with that many guys just smothers a girl."
She glanced over at the cashier when she heard him cough, she could tell from the way he looked her over that he'd thought her a boy. She should be glad it was what she was going for but still... would be nice if a person could guess her gender despite her mode of dress. She looked back to Aurora, "So I am just wandering, getting a breath of air, and stretching my legs."

Her smile faded, but not in the normal sense. Her face went mildly blank, as if deeply contemplating what her friend had just said. "Well..." she started, sounding a bit unsure. "I don't know if it helps, but..." The gentle grin resurfaced as she turned, facing her fellow goddess. "You're like the sister I never had. I mean, we're almost total strangers, yet..." Aurora didn't finish her sentence. You manage to make me feel safe and wanted. She waved her free hand in the air and spoke with a matter-of-fact sort of tone."I don't know what I'm saying. 'Just nonsense, I suppose."
As if stalling to find another topic of conversation, she turned, watching a candle flicker in the window. Carefully she reached out, running her delicate fingers through the flame.

"Like a sister?" Kris asked before giving a very bright smile, "Thank you." She was excited both that Aurora seemed to like and trust her plus acknowledged the fact that Kris was in fact female.
Kris paid for what she'd gotten from the man behind the counter before she moved closer to Aurora, "Hey, its not nonsense. Maybe we knew each other in a past life or something." She said jokingly thought she believed in past lives herself, knew that she had one even.

Aurora's hand lingered a moment too long in the flame. Whether it was Krishna's coming closer, or the comment about past lives, one will never know. Either way, the result was a leap of her fingers from the heat to her lips.
It's possible. We being what we are, it's hard to deny anything at this point.
That of course was what she was trying to say. Lips parted gently and her gloss slightly smudged, what exited her mouth was more along the lines of; "The tail says yes."
... What?

Kris giggled then gave a nod, "The tail is wise." She said with a grin, her tail wagging again before she motioned to the counter, "Were you able to figure out what you wanted to snack on?"
She tucked the bag that held her treats into her pocket, she would eat them once they found something for Aurora. It was rude to eat in front of people who didn't have food after all or at least she thought so.

Aurora looked up, staring into the distance as if struck dumbfounded by this question. After a moment of this bizarre blank look, she snapped back to reality and smiled. "The ginger-breaded skeleton cookies. The rib-cage smells like vanilla-drizzling, Am I righ-- ... Drizzzzzzzzle.... What a funny word." She let out a chuckle, only just now realizing how strange she must sound. Ah, who cares? It's to be expected when you're with someone just as unique as you!

Kris gave a little giggle before nodding her head, "I think that is the word for it. Maybe?" She walked over to the counter and ordered a pair of the skeleton shaped cookies for her friend and gave the needed money over to the man. Aurora had said Kris didn't need to pay but since she had invited the older girl out it was only right that she did. After getting the cookies she held them out to Aurora, "Here you go."
