"I can splash around in the surf just as easily from here as I could from down there. B'sides... The water's starting to get higher anyways." He snorted softly, giving his head a light toss.

"It's not getting that high." She leaned down and touched her nose to the water. It was still just splashing against her stomach with the larger waves.
