tangocat777 So, I go to Gamestop, to pick up the last Fire Emblem:Radiant Dawn. Simple enough. Before paying, the guy goes "Do you want to become a member? 10% off" Me: No Him: Is there anything else? Me: everything's covered. Him: Do you want to trade in anything? Me:No Him: you sure? Me: yeah. Him: Do you want to preorder anything? Me: nope? Valuable time wasted. True. Story. D:

Arvis_Jaggamar I actually think that the employyes are more annoying when they DO know what they're talking about... Me: "Hey, do you have any PSPs in stock?" Clerk: "Yeah, we have a silver model that comes with a 1gb memory card-" Me: "-and the game Daxter. Yeah, no plain black?" Clerk: "Well, we also have a slim white model that comes with-" Me: "-Star Wars with a Vader silkscreen. Yes. Thank you. Any models that don't come with a game I don't want?" Clerk: "I doubt it." Me: "Thanks, I guess I'm going to Best Buy." It was Black Friday and all nonbundled PSPs were sold out, everywhere. And I do mean everywhere: Best buy, Gamestop, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Target. I ended up getting the Star Wars pack. I have alot of downtime now that the show I'm working on has opened and I didn't want to go another day without some portable gaming. I've never needed it before, but life is funny like that... I can't wait until I get a chance to show up some Gamestop employees...show them I know more than they do. biggrin I mean, if you're working in a game store you should know a lot more than these Gamestop clerks do.

And later Gameshark. ; DI got mine from your Gameshark initially and then it made me lose my data. gonk Then I beat it again and I used your gameshark again and got it back. Then I got my own gameshark. xD

Best Buy rocks when it comes to deal on games. I prefer Toys R Us personally. lol I like Best Buys for cheap CDs & Movies. My Toys R Us stinks. It's too much of a mess. CDS?!...I use Itunes/Limewire now. Itunes and Limewire are both terrible for music downloads.

Well I haven't had that much of a problem with the game stop near me. There was one situation where they didn't have a game, but then he printed out a list of other stores that do. Also I once bought a game that was too powerful for my computer at the time, and when I came back he exchanged the game with an Xbox version. I don't know maybe it depends where you live.

ok, I went to gamestop to buy a PS3 and all right. Well one of the retards at gamestop couldn't speak because of his speech impedement, so I didn't talk to him. So I talked to this fatass (lives with his mom) retard who trieed convincing me to purchase a 360 instead. I wanted to ask him if he was retarded. I told him I wanted a PS3, in other words I WANTED YTO SPEND MORE MONEY IN HIS STORE, and he tried me to buy a cheaper item in his store, what a retard.

Not only was he trying to avoid bringing in a shitload of cash, this idiot was actually bringing his bias into the workplace and trying to force it on a customer. That's, like, the number one no-no in sales. When a customer has made a choice, a salesman has no place trying to alter his decision based on personal preference. Now if someone comes in, not knowing what they want, then that's different. Also if they're specifically asking for an opinion, then it's fine. But if someone wants to buy something specific, no WAY should a salesman try to change his decision.

I vaguely remember Viking saying something about wanting to buy a PS3 game and the guy not complying because he was a huge 360 fantard.

He went into Gamestop and he went up to this middle-aged clerk and asked for a copy of MGS3. The clerk told him he refused to sell him that because he insisted that the Xbox was an all-around better system. Viking asked for the manager...he WAS the manager.
