Ha! I used to collect pokemon and Digimon Cards, actually, I have a huge pink binder full of Digimon Cards. I got that main badguy card from the movie too, I forgot what he's called but I think he's rare or something. I should PM you the list of cards I have. I never played, just collected the cards. xd
I used to collect Pokemon cards in Japanese. I didn't like the English ones though. I'm not sure why. So, now, I have some 300 Japanese pokemon cards, hidden away somewhere.

Anyways, when I was a little kid...well, I don't remember much from when I was younger. All I remember is that, when I was 7-ish, power rangers really scared me. But then, I was really easily scared. I still am scared pretty easily, actually. I refuse to get out of bed at night because I think evil demons will get me if I do. Well, maybe not that extreme, but quite often, I have woken up and been quite scared just because of the dark, and then been terrified to look around to make sure nothing's there, because of some ghost story I read when I was little that said there were some ghosts that, if you saw them, would make you kill yourself at some point in your life. Yet, for some reason, I've always liked ghost stories. Maybe I subconsciously like scaring myself? Onwards.

But, realistically, I can't think of any real childhood addictions. Wait...I've always really liked ancient mythology, epic poems, and things like those. The arts too.

Did you wake up at night and thnk that clothes in the closet or like, on the hamper were ghosts? I hought that my moms dirty clothes pile was a monster for a good few years...I'd never go out at night because I was afraid. Then I'd have a nightmare about it killing me or torturing me with long sleeve shirt tentacles. Sorry about your childhood fears, Chikushou! U_U

Nightmares sucked. I made a dream catcher though, a special one, and it helped. ^.^
No, see I never opened my eyes, so I never could believe that anything out there was something scary. And I still don't open my eyes. Which probably means I'll have these fears for the rest of my life. neutral Besides, lots of times I feel like theres all these things gathering around my bed, just waiting for me to let one small limb fall outside the boundaries of the bed so that, through it, they can devour my soul. I probably just have an overactive imagination. Either that, or I'm schizophrenic. I do see things occasionally out of the corner of my eye that aren't there when I look straight at where they would have been. I must be going schizo. Waaaaaaaah!

But I haven't had a nightmare in a really long time. Which is good, because all my nightmares seemed to involve someone I care about getting killed because I just sit on my a** doing nothing as they're dragged away. sad

sad Thats no good. I always woke up rom a bad dream and thought the drapes or clothes that were white were ghosts waiting to get me and take me to a place without video games or without food. It was really scary. I ended up making a dream catcher from many materials, such as bone, some of my own blood, stickers, twigs, metal, and other stuff. It helped me get over my bad dreams. Nowadays I have weird dreams. O_O
Yip, yip. The nighttime can be scary. I always feel a lot better when I have a room mate though. Just from the knowledge of knowing that there's definitely another living person in the room. Too bad I don't have any siblings. Or specifically sisters, I guess. But, otherwise I survive by closing my eyes and pretending there's someone else in there with me. I always have weird dreams, though.

How did we get on this topic again?

Because I found your childhood fears to be interesting enough to reply to with a post larger then 3 sentences? XD

I'm glad my dog sleeps with me. Though he has nightmares too. I usually wake him up if he's having a nightmare, because he cries and shakes and stuff, and I just get worried. Most of the time when I have mine, he licks my mouth and it wakes me up and I'm like ''eww, dog drool'' but it helps me get out of the dream at least. Mans best friend, for sure! blaugh

Yip. Dogs are awesome. But, that reminds of the time when I was away from home, and my mom called me and I knew it was to tell me that my dog had died. *sniffles*

Anyways, yeah, I just imagine some person (typically a guy, nowadays) beside me in bed. Not necessarily because we were doing anything. Just because we were there together. And it makes me happy. And that's my life story.

I'd like to have a girl to just hold as I fall into a dreamlike state. Alas, it's not that easy for me. :p

My dog almost died once...when I was young, I ran home, which was 35 minutes of running, and all he had was some scratches, but he was hit by a car. I was crying and I was happy but I was so exhausted. ^_^;;

I love my doggie! 3nodding

Honestly, my childhood SUCKED!!! I literally had no friends, except for my sister, but she is 3 1/2 years older than me, and would only play with me because our parents fought all the time, so t.v. and Brabie became my friends....*blushes at her honesty* That and trying to die, but I'm over that now!!

Indeed Chikushou! ^_^ I love my doggie very much. I think tomorrow I'll take some pictures of me and some pictures of him and post them in the picture thread so you can get an idea of how i look with my doggie. 3nodding

Miss Ambular, I'm very sorry to hear about your rocky childhood. *Hugs* Not having friends sucks, I had friends but..not really friends. I sort of know how you feel, but I'm glad you didn't die or succeed in dying; myou have tons of friends who probably adore you, and thats what counts! I hope you stay happy always. *Kiss on the cheek* whee

Up till the age of ten, I was obsessed with anime. I still am, but now my obsession has merely expanded to include j-rock and such. It is safe to say that I am completely in love with Gackt. That is one pretty, pretty man.

Also at the age of ten began my life of sexual activity. I like sex. Except when guys put their hands in my hair and tug and stuff, it completely messes it up. But Jeremy and I have an agreement: He keeps his hands out of my hayur, and I wiggle every now and then. blaugh Just kidding, he's allowed to touch my hair, jus tnot pull on it, and I am always the instigator in most sexual activities anyways...

I... uh... spent most of my time on the computer. Nothing really changed there. Always was into video games, from the really ancient BBC-Microcomputer (think around the C64 days), to the Sega Master System, then the Mega Drive, then the Sega CD, then the Playstation, PS2, Gameboy Color, then finally the Gamecube. I think my collection amounts to more than 500 games in total. =|

Other than that, I was shy and introverted. I had no self-esteem, pretty much a doormat, often bullied. I had a few friends, though, and we always used to play the age old game of "War" or "Tag". Autumn was time for Conkers, though.

My other huge hobby was watching cartoons. I was the ultimate Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan (maybe that's why I enjoy martial arts? Subconsciously, I want to be Splinter when I grow up), along too with He-Man, She-Ra, the Thundercats, Sonic the Hedgehog, Harvey Birdman, Transformers (the ORIGINAL series!)...

Man, I loved cartoons.

Thats cute Tailos. You sound almost exactly like I did when I was in my middle school years. I was exactly like that. I mostly played video games and didn't have jack for self-esteem, for whatever reasons. I'm still very shy and computer savvy though, but I get out a lot more then I used to, thats for sure. ^^

As for cartoons, my main channel is Cartoon Network. Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog,. Ed, Edd and Eddy, ohh boy. I LOVE those shows. ^.^
