I sit in a class room filled with people who are nice : D
Though besides that and the fact we have security guards on our campus I have several friends who know martial arts.

Today there were all 5 Principals of our School, in the cafeteria, as well as 2 police officers.
There was also another minor fight between the younger kids. Just a few punches...

Thats horrible. I always imagine I'd try and help out, like start kicking the girl in the gut tackling that guy or something. But it always makes me wonder if I actually would. Or would I just freeze up?

Oh my word, that's awful!
You know what I think the problem is? Kids are socialized to believe that violence is a-ok (the media, parents, peers), so when they're older and they get angry, they can cause real harm because they haven't learned how to properly deal with their emotions. Of course, they're still at responsible for their actions because most know, on some level, that it's wrong.

Midori Hayashi God, I was scared today. In our cafeteria at our Middle School, there was another fight. Not one of those cat fights, or just some trash talk, I mean a real fight. Actually, it was very unfair. A girl and a boy were having a heated discussion, when she stood up to scream at him. He grabbed her by her hair, slammed her on the table, and started bashing her head. I was currently up and walking to get my Ice Cream, when I screamed and ran back to my table. The administrators were called, and escorted the guy out of the cafeteria. The girl was led out with a bloody head and face. She couldn't even walk straight. Is it me, or is our world getting more violent? No, it is not just me. Anybody else had an experience like this? omg really thats hectic yeah the world is geting more violent but my school hasnt go that hectic no where near it yet its still p***y fights

Sorry...but that stuff is tame to the violence I have seen growing up. Violence is a part of people's lives. It happens. Hate is also a part of people's lives, and it is a warping, strong emotion. Whenever you hate, you allow someone to reach in and manipulate your emotions. Thing is, if people dispelled hate, they'd all be happier. Problem is, it's more than likely someone at home making them mad and then they come to school and take it out on the nearest person that makes them angry. Sucks all the way around. I am sorry that you had to see that so close. In a fight, no one wins, not even the bystanders.

Umm...a guy beats a girl into a table, that's not a fight, that's a guy beating on a girl. It's just abuse. What an @$$
