Yep, this was costume. Jasmine twitched eagerly as the three designers fought over what colors she was to wear for her outfit. She wasn't really too keen on fashion, since most of her clothes appeared to be either short-sleeve or long-sleeve shirts and jeans, so she stood back and watched the chaos unfold. The silent girl gave the team a voiceless giggle as they started to harass each other's ideas, but tilted her head in confusion as one of them went on about lightning-bolts.
Getting brought into the conversation, she seemed to tilt her body the other way. Fidgeting for her sketchbook, she jotted down a quick reply. ”To be honest, I don't know.” Her mind raced back to when she was in her Art class. “Analogous... That means they are beside each other on the color wheel... And Complimentary means they are across... Blue is across... And yellow and red-orange are beside orange... I don't think I want to look too bright if I'm going to fight...”
She returned to her book. ”Maybe orange and blue? Those are Complimentary, right?” ((I don't have a clue, really. XD))

Agatha nodded, her head slightly tilted as well. "They are. Orange would really compliment your eyes, dear, and..." she fell silent and then hurried over to one of the sketchboards and started drawing. After about five minutes she stopped and held her sketch up. "What do you think of this?" she asked. ((Ok, let's pretend she gets it right in one go, being the amazing person she is. xD We can discuss it more OOCly. razz ))

(( O^O~ ))
Jasmine's eyes darted around as she closely observed the page in front of her, her eyes flickering with excitement. Standing a few minutes with her mouth agape, she soon found her consciousness and jotted down a reply. "What an amazing design! It looks great!" She showed her own book to the woman, her own heart nearly bouncing with what she was shown.

Agatha smiled, looking very pleased with herself.
The designers blinked. "That's IT?" One of them protested.
"You have nothing to add?" A second one added.
"Flashcharge wouldn't--"
"That's enough, thank you," Agatha interrupted them before it could get out of hand. They fell silent. "I'm glad you like it," she smiled to Jasmine. "As you can see, I've made it a visor in this design, but we could also replace it with a mask, if you prefer that. Is there anything else you would like to add or change?"
"Yeah," the designer ventured again, "You'll be stuck with this for quite a bit of time. You'd better be sure ."
Agatha nodded in agreement.
Everyone was now looking at Jasmine. The designers nearly bouncing in anticipation because they could get to WORK on something IMPORTANT again! They had the BEST job in the WORLD!
((LOL xD Okkk. That's easy. ;D))

Jasmine suppressed a deep urge ask Miss Agatha if she could stay to watch the people make the costume, since it looked very interesting, but she knew that would take too long and they probably didn't want to deal with a tag-along. She smiled as the woman asked her another question, and gave the costume another long look. The silent girl returned to her sketchbook. "Actually, no. I really like it as it is. And a visor is perfect for me. I would be too busy trying to scratch at a mask to focus on what I'm doing."
She noticed a pattern in her decision-making- she was only thinking of the uses when she had to decide! But maybe that was good for a super. Maybe that's why the current supers down wear things that are really long or draping- they're thinking of the uses of the clothes. "Hopefully so." Jasmine mused with a smile.

"Excellent!" Agatha beamed at her, "Oh, you're such a darling! Now, Sir Oz, please take her along, we have work to do!"
One of the designers actually let out a whoop and then they all ran off and started pulling out fabrics and this and that and generally created pandemoniun.
Agatha came up to Jasmine and helped her off the chair. "If you come by on thursday, we'll have it done for you and we can make some last minute adjustments for you, dear." Agatha was still beaming, absolutely thrilled she could do this for Jasmine.
Sir Oz stepped forwards now, repressing the childish urge to roll his eyes. "We'll be moving on. See ya, Agatha. Come, kid. I'll be taking you for some basic self-defense training. Don't want ya caught defenseless out there. You'll be a big target," he pointed out, giving Agatha a pointed look.
"Oh, posh, sir!" she told him while she jabbed her finger at his chest.
"Any super gets to be a target," Oz clarified, but didn't stick around. He had taken Jasmine's arm and pulled her along and let go when she followed him by herself.
"Training's up next, on the lower floors," he told her. Suprise! This time they DID take the elevator. Ah, that explained it! Down seven floors to the first floor and the training facilities. When they walked out of the elevator they took a right turn, went down the hallway, took a left turn and then were in a long corridor with only four doors. Two very close on each side, opposite of each other. When they entered the door farthest away from them, they entered in a very large training hall. More like a completely outfitted gym, with devices, some regular, some high-tech. A man was doing push-ups in the middle of the gym but scrambled upwards when he saw the visitors.
"Yo boss," he greeted cheerfully, while he raised a hand to greet them.
"Charlie," Sir Oz acknowledged.
"Hey kid, you must be Jasmine?" Charlie asked, while he came forwards to shake her hand. "Nice to meet ya," he grinned widely.
Charlie appeared to be in that indefinable age group of somewhere between the twentyfive and the thirtyfive. He was of average-height with a mop of dark, curly hair and very expressive, dark brown eyes. His skin was tanned from being outside so often and he had well defined muscles, showing he obviously did training on that. He would definitly be considered handsome by quite a many women. He was currently wearing dark, sweat pants, sneakers and a simple top, and was grinning brightly at both Jasmine and Sir Oz.
"You ready to get your a** kicked?" he asked her, cheerfully.
"I'll leave you to it," Sir Oz was smiling now. "Have fun," he chuckled.
"Great! See ya, boss!" Charlie cheered back and then turned back to Jasmine. "Excited? Well, you can start by getting changed."
He pointed to a door on the opposite end of the wall. It would lead to dressing room, complete with showers and various lockers with training outfits, divided into two, one male and one female changing room. Jasmine would find everything she needed in there.
"Just a mo'," Charlie stopped her and then pulled something out of his pockets. It was a very small headset, which covered his ears and placed a small see-through visor over his right eye. He pushed a button and the visor lit up with something that would be just lights to Jasmine, but seemed to make sense to Charlie.
"Yeah...ok...I think... This thing's supposed to block out the waves in your voice that manipulate people," he told her. "You're supposed to be able to speak without affecting me. So, hop to it!" he was also beaming at Jasmine, too cheerful for his own good.
((Lets pretend this is a monday. xD ))

Jasmine smiled at the group as they seemed to be very excited of the new assignment. “Most people don't like their work. These people must be very lucky.” As Agatha helped her off the chair, she struggled to make sure she did not fall. She smiled again as she was told when to come back to pick up the uniform. She opened up her sketchbook again. “Thank you, Miss Agatha.”
The silent girl seemed to let out a huff as Sir Oz called her a kid, but did nothing more as she listened to the last bits of his and Miss Agatha's conversation. “Any superhero gets to be a target...” Jasmine parroted in her mind. She wondered if he meant by both villans and regular people. She had noticed the sense of hostility towards Evolveds in America as soon as she had arrived over four months ago. She dismissed the touchy subject, however, when Sir Oz dragged her along out of the room.
She let out a sigh of relief as he turned into the elevator. “Good. If he tried to pull that stunt again I probably would've slapped him.” Jasmine looked the man over again. No, this man would probably dodge before she even started to lift her hand. As they turned into the training room, she looked around almost regrettably as she noticed all of the high-tech gear in the room. Even though she had a lean body, she was not one who didn't exercise other than walking to the places she needed to go to daily.
Jasmine accepted Charlie's hand, nodding a hello as they shook hands. She was almost his height, which made her look a little sad. She really wanted people to be taller than her, since she was not very social. “He looks like one of those bad-a** smart-asses on those shows from the fifties...” She mused, hoping he would have an Italian accent.
The silent girl turned to the changing room, giving her own odd thoughts before Charlie had stopped her. As he pulled out the headset and told her what it was, she raised a brow at the quick response from their technical team that they must've gotten. Blinking a few times, she finally spoke. “So... You want me to... Speak?”

"Righto!" Charlie cheered, "Seems to work just fine. Great, it'll save us a ton of trouble when training," he grinned. "Now you can go and change and I'll give you a crash course on self-defense and hand-to-hand combat. We gotta know each other a bit, ya know? Being future teammates and all." He was still grinning at her, not seeming to mind that one bit. "It's been a while since we've had a super tagging along, or vice versa, I guess," he laughed. "Ah, yes-- you can go get changed and we'll talk more later."

"Ah, it's good that it works!" Jasmine said, smiling happily. He was about the first who had heard her speak without being affected since her powers form, which made sure she was many more times excited than when she was in the designer's room. She gave Charlie a nod as she walked quickly to the changing room, giving off a gleeful sigh as she closed the door behind her. The girl searched through the training clothes, pulling out a clean, but rather large gray tee-shirt. Finding it to be a good idea to have something to move in, she changed into the shirt. Diving back into the clothes bin, she found pair of short training pants that fit her in width- but her height ended up turning the pants into shorts. Giving off a shrug to herself, she walked back out to Charlie. "Okay... I'm ready." Jasmine said, her tone a little more serious than before.

The next two hours were spent with Charlie demonstrating basic defensive and offensive stances, some of the easier ways to attack and take down a person, as well as to defend yourself. He was patient and explained and corrected Jasmine as long as it took for her to master one particular excersise.
During the excersises he was serious, but light-hearted, cracking a few jokes when Jasmine needed it, or telling some funny anecdotes about Edwin, Sir Oz or any of the other team members.
After nearly two hours, Charlie called a halt to it. He didn't seem to be tired at all, his breath wasn't even laboured while he smiled at Jasmine. "That's about it for today. You did great. Are you up for some lunch? My treat," he winked.

The time they spent on training with defensive and offensive moves had almost confirmed to Jasmine her lack of physical activity was not a good thing to be a super. She had noticed the first time when she had tried an defensive pose and fell on her a**. But she had soon gotten a stable balance and finished the training without much more damage.
When Charlie had put a stop to the training, Jasmine had collapsed to a sitting position on the floor, taking deep breaths like she had done with Oz. Looking up as he offered the girl lunch, she nodded and smiled. “Sure, that'll be fun. If we're going to be going around on Fridays, we should get to know eachother.”

Charlie was grinning at her, obviously finding her predicament terribly amusing. "Looks like I'll outlast ya. You gotta change that. It really should be the other way around," he winked. "In any case, you go get showered and dressed and I'll be meeting you outside, in the hallway. I know a nice place to get some lunch, just a street down."
Once Jasmine would come out, she'd find Charlie hadn't changed much. He had only changed out of his top and pulled on a shirt and jacket. He was leaning against the door way, whistling some tune and was still wearing the eyepiece.
"Heya Jazz. You don't mind if I call you that, do you?" he asked, tilting his head and looking curiously at her. "I'm keeping up the headpiece," he gave it a tap, "But others won't have it, so don't forget to keep it a whisper," he winked. "Hungry yet?" he laughed.

The girl let out a small laugh, her arm reaching for the back of her neck. “Ehh... I know... I just haven't been exercising much...” She finally stood, stretching as she walked towards the dressing room again. Jasmine was in the shower soon, spacing out as she just let the water pass over her. When she was finished and dressed, she walked out into the room with the clothes she had worn when she had entered the room.
“No, I don't mind that nickname- I get it all the time.” She gave Charlie a smile, nodding comprehensibly at the warning he gave.

"Great! Let's go!" Charlie offered his arm to Jasmine and then escorted her out of the building (which was still confusing as hell with twists and turns and hallways and elevators and-- oh, the exit!) down the street into a nice little bistro. During their walk he kept on a pleasant stream of conversation with topics ranging from the latest baseball game to the question on whether they were truly the only ones in the universe. Yeah, he was a weird one, always able to make any topic interesting and not dull and easily skipping subjects when someone else got tired of one. He gave Jasmine the chance to whisper any replies she might had into his ear, but it was still mostly him talking.
It was a nice day today, with the weather being pleasant enough to sit on the outdoor terrace. Nonetheless, once they arrived at the bistro Charlie went right on ahead and escorted Jasmine inside, explaining he preferred to keep an overview on things. A bad habit most of them had picked up, and she probably would too, he explained her with a wink.
Charlie escorted her right to a corner table and sat down with his back to the wall. "See. From this point, I can keep an eye on the exit, entrance, the staff, the restrooms, everything that's necessary, really. When I enter a room, I know exactly what's inside it with just a single glance. It's an important skill you should try to make your own. For instance, do you know where the emergency exits are, how many people are here and which of those could be a potential threat to ya? I do." He laughed a bit embarassed. "Useless and paranoid, I guess, but exactly what you need in a crisis situation," he grinned.
He took a sip from the coffee the waitress had brought and picked up his sandwich. "Well, enjoy! How had your day been so far? What you expected?" He took a bite from his sandwich and seemed quite delighted while he did so.

The whole building seemed to confuse the girl to no end, her usually uniform way of looking around being reduced to a chaotic blur of movement as they went towards the exit. “If I do have to come here every Friday, I'm screwed.” She thought after they finally reached the door. Jasmine listened throughout the entire conversation with a smile, but she only gave her own two cents when he asked her a question. She noticed his strange train of thought, giving a surprised look as they entered the Bistro that seemed to pop out of nowhere due to her being spaced out and not noticing anything.
As soon as Charlie mentioned the fact that he could see everyone and everything from where he was, she turned around to mimic his angle and see if it were true. She found out that he was telling the truth, and grinned as she turned back around. “Ah, that's a nifty little habit.” The girl whispered with a smile. She was not used to someone who had a habit of wanting to know where everything was, so she found it interesting. “I'm guessing that's why many heroes and heroines sit in the back in a lot of books and movies...”She smiled again. Jasmine turned around again, but not fully, to count the number of people in the room- along with the exits. “Well, there's not that many people here, at least.” That made her a little more comfortable, since she was not good with large groups.
The girl took her own sandwich in hand, taking a bite out of it. She swallowed and thought over his question. “Thank you, and not what I expected.” Jasmine whispered with a laugh. “I thought you guys would have my a** for what I did.”
