Melody: She listened and when he spoke of meeting a mare she exclaimed excitedly. "Wow really? Congrates!" She grinned and chuckled. "Whos the mare?"
She thought about Cotton Candy fondly, her love for him blooming further over the seaon. "Christmas is the season. Mine was amazing, asides from Honaw's little Christmas prank." She waved a hoof as if to say 'that still couldn't ruin it.' "I sung Christmas carols and spent time with somebody special." 4laugh

He pawed at the ground like a young colt would in an ebarassing situation, "Her name's Vara. She passed through close to my home not many moons before Christmas." He smiled as he thought of her, he couldn't wait to see her again.
"Honaw pulled a prank?" Scythe laughed whole heartedly, "No. I don't believe it!" He grinned and bobbed his head slightly, "What'd he do?"
"Oh, you have a mate too?" Scythe had always been the curious type. Perhaps too much for his own good.

Melody: She was rather amused by his slight embarassment. "Well I'll be sure to say hi to Vara and congrates if I see her."
"Well usually Honaw's bark is worse than his bite but he got unlazy especially for the Christmas season." She gave a light chuckle, of someone who was just starting to get over the embarassment of the memory. "He firstly brought me a pair of earmuffs for Christmas, claiming he was doing me a favor by giving me the gift of not having to listen to my own music." She shook her head and smiled. "That was ok but then when I put the earmuffs on in good humour, when I went and tried to get them off it was like they were stuck there...Almost like they were glued on." Frowns slightly. "They did come off eventually."
She brightened when he asked about her mate and grinned most happily. "Yes his name is Cotton Candy. His amazing."

Scythe did his best not to laugh. He did let a small snicker out, but not a lot, "I can't believe Honaw would do that to you! You have gotten him back for that haven't you?" Scythe grinned.
"Cotton Candy? I can't say that I've met him. I do hope he's a pleasurable of company as you are. If so, then you'll have a long happy life ahead of you." Scythe nodded.
"Perhaps in the Spring we could all meet up for a bite or something." Scythe pondered.

Melody: She thought for a moment. "I actually havn't gotten him back for it. I find that when you ignore him, it gives him less satisfaction then if you served up some revenge." She chuckled and shrugged. "Well I could always do a prank in the future, but I'm fresh out of ideas."
"Thanks and he is, his wonderful." She smiled proudly.
"That sounds fun! Think everyone would get on well." Nods.

(my muse is totally dead. I'm going to call this my last post in this rp. *nod*)
Scythe smiled and nickered a bit, "Then Spring it is." He looked around, the sun had begun to lower in the sky, he and Melody had spent the entire day talking to one another.
"I live not far North of here, just before the forest. I'll look forward to seeing you and your mate this Spring." Scythe smiled, his ears flickering a bit. "For now though, I must be off. It grows quite late."
"Do take care, Melody. I hope to hear of your talents through the land. I know you'll do well." He offered a friendly smile of encouragement.
