Konton stopped and flicked her tail to the North in the direction of the Kousetsu Tribe. "She's taking one of her four BCRs excluding you to the Kousetsu Tribe where her mate, Kinovu, is. That BCR and Yuurei are going into that Tribe. The nearly all-black one and Kutsuu are staying in this tribe." Konton explained with a smile.

Suddenly her ears rotated around to listen to the conversation in the back. The kits? She pivoted on her back paws and sprang around, dashing back toward Kekkon, Sheba, and Danag. "Yuurei and Kutsuu ran off?!" She asked alarmed. This was the third time those kits had done that. Her frantic eyes rested on Sheba after being convinced that they weren't with the group. "Where'd they say they were going?" Akuma was going to kill them . . .

Seika let a little smile slip on her face. She climbed onto Koana's back, licking the top of his head. “I’m glad you don’t hate me . . .” She smiled thankfully. Her ears perked up at the voices ahead. “What’s going on?” She asked, her voice taking on its classic sadistic tone. She was feeling much less depressed and the sadist part of her was enveloping her again. Oh, she adored that feeling . . .

Yuurei looked over at a black and red figure glaring at them with fierce eyes. He stopped and observed it. It was huge . . . The biggest fox-looking thing he had seen. It was definitely bigger than a wolf or Modifox, yet it wasn’t a bear. The muzzle was too long and narrow and the ears resembled those of a Modifox. The tail was also like that of a Modi, yet it was much bushier. Was this thing another species of Modifoxes? Was it friendly? Should they turn around and go tell the others? That was probably what they should do. “Kutsuu?” Yuurei stammered in a weak voice.

Kutsuu padded behind his brother and was alarmed when he stopped and said his name. “What?” He asked back and looked over where Yuurei’s eyes directed. He started trembling like his brother as he laid eyes on the black and red demon with they eyes that looked like their mother’s when she was angry.

“Shall we leave?”

“I thought you’d never ask.”

Frenka watched them quietly. His eyes stayed pinned onto the two little bundles of fur. He just stared at them, his eyes wandering among their pelts. Yuurei and Kutsuu, Hm? Frenka thought. They smelled similiar to Akuma. Frenka unsheathed his claws, a hunger growing in his eyes. They were Akuma's kits. Whispering voices echoed solemnly in his ear. They vanished softly in his ears, the words sending shivers down his spin.

Kill them, is what they were saying. The elder murmured a prayer, his entire being couldn't withstand the emense hatred that raged inside him. Frenka's eyes widened, changing colors in an instant. His claws grew strangely larger, which dug deeply into the ground. He didn't growl though. Frenka would give chase once they cowered in fear.

This would be fun. His other half said happily, a large glimmer was sparkiling in Frenka's eyes.

Looking away from Konton Sheba sighed, "They said they were going," she pointed her tail to the right of where she was, "that way." how worried Konton sounded, it put concern in her old bones. What if they had gotten in trouble in which they would get hurt? The first two times they hadn't gotten themselves hurt, what if this would be the final time for them? Sheba looked back at Danag and Kekkon, she shook her head, "We won't make it in time before Akuma goes to hunt them down." As they spoke, Akuma was probably already looking for them.

Yet what if death awaited for the kits?

Koana smiled to himself. Then it vanished when everyone started panicing about the kits. What kind of trouble had they gotten themselves into this time? "Yuurei and Kutsuu have wandered off again." He said bitterly, turning away.

Koana lefted his head a little, sniffing the air. One scent caught his attention, Koana's eyes widened in shock, fear now plagueing him. "I smell Frenka!" he shouted, his panic suddenly coming out in large amounts.

Kekkon growled at this statement. That's why he had been so on edge! Having been distracted by the situation with the missing kits, he hadn't noticed Frenka's scent. Well, not consciously anyway. "I'm going after them," Kekkon said to the others, dashing off in the direction that Sheba had indicated, which, horrifyingly enough, was the same direction Frenka's scent was coming from. Psychotic elder+defenseless kits= really bad situation. He only hoped that he would make it in time.

----------------------------

Akakumo had heard the commotion from above and listened intently to their conversations. Gathering what the situation was, he flew off in the same direction as Kekkon, flying down closer to the trees now so as to better spot the elder when he came upon him.

Danag's head quickly snapped toward Koana before she looked back toward the direction the kits went. 'This isn't good,' Danag thought. She too could now smell Frenka. 'He's with Kuutsu and Yuurei...' Danag quickly ran toward them, after Kekkon. 'We have to find them soon...'

Kitsuekai's head snapped up as he felt the tension in the air. It felt like...war? Bloodshed? He wasn't sure, but the hair on his back went up and he gave a shiver. He could use a good fight. He whiffed the elder's scent, beginning to follow it.

Konton bit her lip and looked at the other kits and the BCR. This wasn't good. There was only one carer, a kit, a BCR, and an injured tribe member. She quickly glanced at the members dispersing through the forest, ready to ambush Frenka. But Frenka would know they were coming and attack them . . . Or even worse . . .

Kill the Kits . . .

Her eyes grew even more panicked and terrifyed. Her Sharingan eyes started rapidly spinning as she looked at Sheba, Seika, and Koana with her head down to avoid eye contact. "Sheba, take care of Telluria and the BCR. Koana, guard Seika." She stated and wheeled off her back paws, darting into the forest as fast as possible. Frenka had probably already sensed the approaching tribe members and if the kits didn't defend themselves, they were doomed . . .

Seika looked up at Konton, her black bangs falling over her face. Her tail flicked and she growled. No One was going to give her orders . . . Her eyes narrowed and she landed on all four paws. Snagging the cast wrapped in her tail, she tied it tightly and darted after the rest of the foxes.

One could call Seika insane to be running on a dangerous mission like this with a broken leg, but those who knew Seika knew that she was just being Seika.

She winced as she ran, but the pain no longer bugged her. As cold-hearted and sadistic as she was, this was still her tribe, her land, and her home. She wasn't going to let the future of this place be demolished, and that meant guarding the most pesky and annoying kits too. Deep down, way, way, way deep down, Seika was actually not that bad of a vixen.

Yuurei noticed the glimmer behind the red and black fox's eyes and his own eyes widened. He was scared . . . He trembled and whimpered. What was going to happen? He stood between the other Modifox and his younger brother and let out a little growl, which sounded more like a cat's purr. His small teeth were bared and his claws unsheathed. His weapons may have been small, but they were razor sharp. This thing could kill him, but not his younger brother.

"Kutsuu, are you listening to me? I want you to run. I want you to run and tell the others. Do you hear me? Don't look back. Go back to them, tell them, and if I'm dead . . ." Yuurei choked. "So be it . . ."

Kutsuu's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. What was this? He thought his brother detested him. "B-but, Yuurei . . . ?"

"Do you hear me?!" Yuurei snarled, his blue eyes glared directly at his brother.

Kutsuu gasped and bit his lip. Something had stirred up inside Yuurei. This Yuurei he never knew existed. This Yuurei wasn't . . . Yuurei. It was braver, tougher, colder. "Yes . . ." He whispered. He couldn't argue with his brother's authority.

"Good, now when I count down from three to one, run."

Kutsuu nodded and positioned himself in a sprinting position.

"Three . . ."

Kutsuu's claws were unsheathed slightly for grip so that he wouldn't slip on the slippery ground.

"Two . . ."

Yuurei's eyes narrowed, his back arched for a perfect leap at the Modifox that he was only a fraction of the size of.

"One . . ."

Akuma's paws skipped lightly across the snow, following the scent of the tribe and Seika's blood. She was happy the tribe had gotten so big and the scent was so strong. She was also glad that one of the BCRs was safe with the Kousetsu Tribe and her mate Kinovu. She smiled and giggled to herself with the thought.

Her white paws bounced lightly on the snow. She loved the feel of it. The white end of her tail swept away her tracks for no apparent reason. She didn't know why she was so happy. With her brother and the tribe in peril, she didn't think she could. Her mate and her kids just somehow cheered her up.

After a while, the scent grew even stronger. She was getting close. But the scent wasn't drifting farther away. Did they stop? She stopped smiling and skipping. Why'd they stop? Her pace quickened and it turned into a frantic run. What could possibly make them stop? Did Yuurei and Kutsuu run off again? She felt uneasy and her ghastly eyes grew worried. This couldn't be good . . .

Sheba was panicing. It was her fault the kits ran off in the first place. Her fault she didn't say no to them. She took the BCR silently, it slipping upon her paw gently. Taking Telluria away from them Sheba found a tree with less snow under it. She took them under it and layed down. She was awfully weak right now, her bones where rigid in shock, her eyes glazed in pain. Glancing to see the reminence of Konton's white pelt did Sheba sigh.

Konton was risking everything for the tribe. Frenka, Sheba's son, was more of a rogue wandering on different lands now. He wasn't the brave mighty figure she had seen as an adult. Not a playful young kit bounding around the tribe grounds. For once Sheba felt lost about her two kits. Akuma was the image of Sheba's mother, while Frenka was the image of Akatsu. But how could they have both her and Akatsu's personality? Sheba murmured a pray for them, Akuma, the kits, Konton, and mostly Frenka.

They would need it for this dilema.

The blizzard had hidden Koana's white pelt, only the black could be seen on him. Koana nodded calmly as he backed up from them, heavily padding over to Sheba as she was laying under a tree. But before he could something quickly dashed from him, his back lightening up. Spinning around blood had spilled across the snow. A red blur hurried through the blizzard, and with a sickening jolt Koana realized it was Seika.

"Seika no!" He hadn't want to tell her that doing anything like this, or breaking it again could unable her chances a hunter. She would only be a regular tribe member then. yelling once more for her Koana immediately set off as fast as he could through the blizzard. Following the blood, a fear beyond his own recognition seemed to spread upon him. This couldn't be happening.

They were going to run? Well one of them at least. The bloody elder watched, amused, as the black and white kit hurried away. He was going to alert the tribe as fast as he could. Though it was to late since they were already coming from Koana's blurting. His claws reached the ground, numbing him instantly. Frenka stared at the kit, tilting his head as if he were a jaquar searching for it's next prey. He could see trembling emerging from the kit's small body. It could be from the snow. Or it was because he was afraid of blood splatter, or his own death.

Something told him to speak. Which was what he did when Frenka stepped forward, "Are you scared?" This was not Frenka's voice. It was a rather icy voice, hard and metallic. This was the voice of a demon, a demon sent from hell. It could be the voice of Satan himself, or someone that had lived from the tribe long ago. Frenka's steps seemed to increase largely. his tail swished ever so largely as he advanced towards the small bundle of fur. "Oh don't worry," he started slowly, his eyes glittered like rubies, "I'll be quick."

His muscles bunched up as the elder jumped into the air. His claws unsheathed, Frenka aimed down on the kit. He landed on the ground instead of killing the kit, then with a quick swipe Frenka clawed the kit's small leg. A malicious laugh echoed through the forest, Frenka grabbed Yuurei quickly, his claws raking down his small back slowly. He was expecting Yuurei to be screaming to the point of death that he wouldn't be able to bare the memories. Frenka was hoping in killing him.

Before that his eyes turned red.

A solemn growl of pain rumbled in Frenka's chest. He backed away from the kit, leaving him on the ground from his past scaring. "What? Now?" The icy whispered snarled, Frenka wreathed back in forth before he looked back at the kit. His eyes glowed a dim dark red before he sat down, waiting for the others darkly.

When they came he would face them for any reason. Since, he would be able to slaughter them all.

PostPosted: Sun Dec 09, 2007 7:42 pm
"That's enough!" A voice boomed angrily as the large form of the tribe's guardian landed on the ground in between the elder and the kit. His ark colorings stood in steep contrast with the surrounding snow, much like the elder himself. And although Frenka was large, Akakumo was still larger. "The notorious Frenka, I presume," the guardian said in an icy tone that could send chills down any fox's back. His voice was quite the contrast to the fire that now raged in his eyes. Having seen Frenka's actions from the air, he was about ready to maul the elder that stood before him. Though he hadn't been with the tribe for very long, he was already quite devoted to protecting its members.

It didn't take long for Kekkon to reach the spot after the guardian did. When he saw poor Yuurei's condition, he let out a throaty growl toward the elder before making his way over to the injured kit. He picked him up gently to move him a little further away and placed him back down on the soft snow. "Where's your brother?" He inquired, gently licking his wounds in an attempt to help. He was no Shaman, but couldn't just leave the poor thing bleeding until help arrived. His eyes focused on some tiny paw-prints in the snow leading another way. "Nevermind."

(I can edit out the part about moving him a few feet away if that counts as an auto-hit or something.)

Danag slowed, seeing that Kekkon had stopped ahead of her. Nearing then, it was clear to her that only Kutsuu was there. She sped up again. 'Kutsuu's hurt and Kekkon's taking care of his wounds the best he can...' Danag thought. "I'll run ahead and find Yuurei," she yelled at Kekkon and Kutsuu as she passed them. She was running as fast as she could now, hoping she wouldn't be too late.

Frenka kept his eyes only on the large dragon. Usually places were he would be scuffing around in nervousness were still, and now he raised his head to boom more laughter. "Frenka?" He inquired, glaring at the tribe guardian. "I am not Frenka. I am Akatsu, former leader, and father, of Frenka and Akuma." by now the elders eyes were gleaming happily, his claws stayed unsheathed like a modidaevas would. Somewhere in the shadows Frenka seemed to carry demonic wings, darkness glazed in them. From this view he looked like a Modidaeva, ready to kill to earn what he was after.

The second Danag was in eyesight of the others, she was shocked still. She could almost see the demonic aura surrounding Frenka. She sneaked quickly, hidden behind the trees, to where Yuurei was. 'Right, I'll get Yuurei and run. I'll let Akakumo deal with Frenka for now.' Danag felt much safer now that Akakumo was between her and the Elder. "Yuurei," she whispered to the kit. "Let's get out of here."
PostPosted: Mon Dec 10, 2007 5:22 pm
"Akatsu, eh?" Akakumo replied undaunted. The muscles on his back rippled as he lifted up his wings into the air, enlarging his already threatening form. "Go back to the world of the dead. You no longer have any place here on this planet, nevertheless this land. I will not allow you to bring any more harm to this tribe." The dragon spoke with a powerful sense of authority about him. Obviously he was not a force to be reckoned with. After all, his own claws were quite sharp and he had the lovely addition of his horns to fight with.

Kekkon watched the confrontation between the elder and the guardian from where he stood, still keeping guard over the injured kit as Danag went after the other. Frenka's condition had obviously worsened from when they had last met, for he no longer even had control of his own mind. Baka. If he had just come back when I asked him to we may have been able to prevent this, he thought to himself, glaring at the *demonic figure before them.

*Not the guardian, the elder, lol.

Seika growled, her minding pushing out Koana's words. Normally, she'd obey him without question. But this was an exception . . . Blood seeped through the cast, trickling down her leg. She snarled at the pain, but continued running. She blamed Frenka for the Tribe's troubles, not staying when they needed him most. Who cared if he was possessed? They could help him. But would he listen? The one who saved her life?

She hissed as a low-hanging branch swatted her in the face, a little gash opening up on her cheek beneath her eye. Blood starting oozing out of the incision, running down her face almost like tears.

The figures became visible silhouettes. Seika could clearly make out the guardian and Frenka. There was a hunched over figure and her eyes flickered. Was this fox injured? Or was it leaning over something? Questions buzzed in her head, but Seika wasn't going to sit there and ponder.

The red, black, and white fox burst threw the shadows of the trees into the clearing and leaped off her back paws at the Elder. Throwing her full weight at the Elder, they toppled over to the ground. Seika had him firmly pinned under her, her injured leg pressing against his neck. The claws on her other three legs were unsheathed. The ones in the paw on his neck threatened to come out, blood from her injury dripping of their blade-like edges. If they did retract with such force and speed, they could kill him.

"Frenka what is wrong with you?!" She snarled, her blood red eyes set on fire. They glared directly into his own. She only saw the acid of compulsion bubbling inside. Within seconds, the acid could be set aflame like her own. She growled, her tail swaying from side to side. Blood oozed from the incision beneath her eye, running down her cheek like tears. A single drop of hot, crimson fluid slipped off her cheek and fell onto lip, making him look even more demonic.

Konton darted through the trees and skidded to a halt in front of Danag and Kutsuu. She looked down at the kit, pity staining the surface of her eyes. Behind the film of sympathy, laid a field of misery, anguish, and agony set ablaze by hate caused not by Frenka but by Akatsu. She growled inwardly and looked up at Danag. Her Mangekyou Sharginan eyes spun wildly, going through Danag’s mind. She picked up the information about Yuurei injured by Frenka, or rather, Akatsu, Akakumo facing him, and Kekkon defending and helping the kit. “Danag, get Kutsuu back to Sheba.” She commanded in a firm voice.

Without another word, she bounded away to the clearing. She leaped through the tree line, clearing a bush, and landing between Kekkon and Akakumo. She glared at Frenka, no, Akatsu, her Mangekyou eyes spinning like propellers. She was low and sauntered up around the guardian by his side. Seika had him pinned down. She winced with worry. With that leg, Akatsu could probably easily overpower her. But that wasn’t her prime concern. If Seika could run and fight with that leg, she could handle pain. Koana was probably on his way as well. She growled. “Akatsu . . . Why did you come back?” She hissed harshly between her clenched teeth.

Yuurei looked up at the black and red male above and smiled weakly. “As long as he’s alright, I don’t really care . . .” He managed. He sputtered, blood coming up. He figured he had a broken rib. Great . . . He hissed. Well, at least he was still alive. And Kutsuu must be alright, unless Frenka had teamed up with some other devilish group. But what were the chances?

Yuurei struggled to keep his eyes open, his heavy not willing to open when they fell. He was exhausted with all this burning pain. He feared that if he did close his eyes, they would never open again . . .

But one question buzzed around in his head. Was this Frenka, or this Akatsu character he was hearing about?

His eyes closed and slipped into unconsciousness.

Kutsuu looked up at Danag. “I guess . . .” He replied weakly. He was still trembling when Konton came. He looked up into her eyes and took careful not of the emotions behind the shield of empathy. He looked away avoiding the spinning pinwheels embedded into her eyes.

He was worried about Yuurei . . . He deeply didn’t know he had these sorts of feelings for his older brother, who could be dead . . . He let out a sob, tears streaming down his cheeks. He hot, salty drops fell onto his paws and the snow. Some of them froze before they hit the ground, turning into tiny crystals burying themselves in the snow.

Akuma skidded to halt along the path. Now the scent of the tribe foxes dispersed. Most were in the forest, others were nearby. She looked down and saw the tell-tale blood of Seika trailing into the forest. That probably meant Frenka was in there . . .

She bit her lip and looked down at her paws scuffing at the snow. The smell of blood stained the air, but she managed to pick up Sheba’s scent and her eyes flicked with astonishment. She let her back foot slip back and she pushed off it, springing forward like a torpedo. She couldn’t control her speed, the falling snow stinging her eyes as she ran into them.

She caught a glimpse of a blue figure huddled up in the hollow at the base of a tree. “Sheba!” She called out and couldn’t stop running. She hissed and used her claws as breaks. They screeched on the frozen puddle and stung her ears. She snarled and leaped backward at the hollow, ducking inside. “Where are they?!” She asked in a frantic voice, her eyes painted with panic.

PostPosted: Tue Dec 11, 2007 6:56 pm
"Come on, then," Danag said quietly, scooping Kuutsu up and onto her back before running as fast as she could back to Sheba. "Yuurei's going to be fine," she said. "Have faith in him. He won't die on you." Danag ran the rest of the way toward Sheba silently, keeping her ears and eyes alert at all times. They were nearing Sheba when Danag spoke again. "I think I hear your mother. She's with Sheba." Danag pushed herself faster. Finally, she could see the tree Sheba was hiding in. Danag could also see Akuma clearly. She slowed to a stop in front of them, tired, and handed Kutsuu over to his mother. "I'm glad you're back, Akuma," Danag said, panting slightly. "I'm afraid Yuurei's still out there with Frenka, or Akatsu..."

Frenka watched the guardian once more amused. A grin spread on his face, he chuckled softly. "Oh? Go back to that hell? I'd rather-" before he could finish his sentence a red shape blasted from the snowy trees and tackled him over. Frenka growled angrily as he looked to see red eyes glaring at him. A bloody leg had been placed over him, claws threatening to cut his throat. As she spoke a single tear of blood landed on his lip, Frenka linked it up happily, an evil grin spreading across his face again.

"I suspected you to hear my last comment." He said directly, looking into her own eyes vicously. "I. Am. Not. Frenka." It was simple? Or did she just not hear his own loud words booming from his mouth? Frenka snorted loudly, his claws whipping around to land onto her neck. He didn't dig into her neck yet, just something that if she dug her claws into his neck she would also die. "Equal now?" He mocked calmly, looking at her injured leg.

Dieing wasn't what he had wanted yet. Just to reek havoc of lives of this pathetic, worseless tribe. In a quick moment Frenka moved his back leg to her stomach, digging his claws into her stomach. Instantly he manuevered her own body, with his back leg, and threw her into the air with less force then he had Yuurei. Blood now stained the blackness of his pelt, it actually covered him as he stood up and eyed the white figure standing some ways from him.

"Konton?" Frenka's voice rang, hate gushed from his eyes. The elder stepped forward, his claws trying to unsheath even more then they had. When Frenka saw the glowing eyes of the Mangekyou he only stared a them, not affected what so ever of their ability to send him into torcher.

"I see. Itachi I taught you the Mangekyou, well I have a little thing to tell you," In a moment Frenka was now over by her, his red eyes staring into hers. "Frenka and I aren't affected me Mangekyou." He whispered only to her, only for her to hear. This was the only reason he had escaped to Frenka's body, because of his ability to avoid the Mangekyou.

Frenka circled Konton, aware of the tribe guardian that would come flying at him any time now. "You don't know I suppose." He started slowly, his face brightened up quickly in interest at his next secret. "That you are Itachi's half sister?" Now this was something that had come to terms of staying completely quiet about. But Frenka, no Akatsu had come to more terms of telling her, since he was considered dead Itachi wouldn't be able to kill him.

In an instant Koana to came bursting through the trees. His eyes searched out one fox inparticular, when he spotted Seika Koana looked to the small figure on the ground. Dashing over to him Koana bent down to Yuurei, panic rushing through him even more then it had when Seika had dashed off of him.

Koana immediately told the kit to eat the herbs he had layed down, they were special for healing wounds such as this. Somehow Koana knew he would be needing them. Looking up Koana ran over to Seika, sitting next to her and telling her to eat the herbs he layed by her. "Why did this have to happen?" He whispered quietly to himself, looking up at the sky now.

He wished it would all stop, peace would return, and Frenka would be normal.

Sheba had almost dozed off when her daughter's shrill voice came panicing in the air. She looked up with a sense of fright as Akuma came bounding over to her, something rang in Sheba when she saw her daughter's current state of worry.

Standing up barely Sheba pointed in the direction of where they had gone, when she smelled the scent of blood pain welled in her. Could Yuurei or Kutsuu be dead? But when she saw Kutsuu come over to her Sheba was half joyed, halfly upset when she didn't spot Yuurei?

Sheba listened to their conversation, something more frightened her when Danag said her old mate's name. "Akatsu?" She shrieked, staring at Danag in worry. "Akatsu has taken over Frenka?" It was easy to figure out, she knew it would happen sometimes, but not now.

"Hell is coming..." she whispered solemnly, looking down.
