You know what Wak? I want some Star Fox action. O can only imagine where the series would go with the Wiimote.

You know what Tango? ******** the Gamecube Star Foxes. Sorry for the foul language, but they took the series in a completely wrong direction. Fox never needs to get out of his Arwing and I'm even a little against him getting in a tank or anything such. Did you play Warioware: Smooth Moves? One of the boss mini-games sees you playing a classic Star Fox level by holding the Wii-mote sideways and guiding his Arwing like that. I would love to see a whole Star Fox game based off of that play mechanic, with a kick-a** story and some Wii enhanced graphics. That would be an excellent Star Fox game.

I'm sad to say this, but Star Fox has become one of Nintendo's red-headed stepchildren along with Donkey Kong, F-Zero, and the Ice Climbers. After the poor performance of the last two entries in the series, I doubt Star Fox is a major priority on Nintendo's list, especially with promising up and coming franchises like Nintendogs, Brain age, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, and Warioware. If they do make a new Star Fox, that would be great. But with their 08 schedule filled with Disaster: Day of Crisis, Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, Pikmin 3, Animal Crossing Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Golden Sun Wii, it does look rather doubtful...

You know what? <******** Nintendo Marketing Team for not putting Star Fox, DK, F-Zero and Ice Climbers.

We used to get some good quality games from...RARE. Rare made ******** Star Fox and then we gave it to Capcom and then Nintendo teams who shitted on it. DK was never the same after Rare left. F-Zero is an underrated franchise but no one wants to play it.

It's really Nintendo Marketing fault for not putting out good games for their other franchises besides the big three.

I agree. I want a sequel to DK64. I loved that game. I liked Star Fox Assault though. The multiplayer was a lot of fun. I liked riding in the tanks. I enjoyed beating Ace on the multiplayer. mrgreen

Anyway, it sucks that Rare is a first-party developer for Microsoft now.

I'm not really into racing games so that's why I haven't played F-Zero.

I am one of the few owners of F-ZERO GX and it is one of the best racers I've ever played. Miyamoto complained about how hard the game was and pointed at how poorly it sold to show the diminishing of the core gamer market, but in reality, Nintendo very poorly advertised this game. I don't remember seeing any television ads for it, the only thing I remember is being able to play a demo of it at Wal-Mart. In the end, it was brutally difficult, completely against Nintendo's Blue Ocean philosophy, and I doubt we'll be seeing an actual F-Zero Wii game, with Nintendo starting to shift focus to new (Wii Fit, Brain Age), popular (Mario, Zelda, Metroid), and obscure (Dr. Mario, Kid Icarus) franchises and away from their "3rd strings" (Donkey Kong, F-Zero, and Star Fox).

Guys, we are forgetting Wave Race D:
I loved Blue Storm. It was beautiful in so many ways. Maybe next time, they can throw in alternate bakini costumes for the girls. That'd be awesome.
