i wanted to see it, but it left the theatres here before i got my chance. i don't have high hopes for it, but i still wanted to see it anyways.

I saw it recently. I thought it was pretty good. All the stuff about Voodoo was fun. Some of the things the main character did annoyed me. She would just do some stupid things at times. Some things in the movie were predictable but I didn't expect a couple of things.

Overall it was a pretty good movie and worth a watch.

Yeah, there were some WTF! scream moments at Caroline but I forgave them considering the rest of the movie was really interesting to me.

first of all remember it wasn't VOODOO but HOODOO...there's a difference. I just watched it last night and in the extra stuff there was a segment regarding voodoo/hoodoo and it looks like there's some bad bad blood between the 2 practices. Voodoo is a religion according to the extra...hoodoo is just practices without a specific worship...just for power mostly.

That being said, I totally agree. I HATED Caroline and I was so glad that she didn't win out in the end. I mean COME ON! She gets a nice cushy job. She only has 3 rules she really needs to obey...and she breaks all of them. She was a complete b***h to Violet right fromthe beginning and she didn't respect her at all. There was no indication that Caroline's character was so inquisitive until the gas station scene (which being from New Jersey and living in the french quarter in NOLA you would think she'd be a little more careful...i mean it's not like she was from the sticks)

Some of it was a little predictable but the ending really made up for everything in the movie. It seriously took me until she found the law books to figure out it was body swapping (altho i pegged him for a "bad guy" from the beginning) and it wasn't until they showed the mirror racing to her that i figured out it was Papa Justify and Mama Cecile from the beginning. I really liked it...you know once i got past Caroline being a complete b***h for no reason in the first half ... at least she had a reason in the 2nd half.

Plus, they were filming this movie while we were in NOLA 2 years ago...it was awesome!

I finally saw this, the other day. I really liked it.

It was better than I thought it would be. Not really scary...just kind of creepy.

i liked the film even though it wasn't a horror more like a thriller but i enjoyed it the ending it was a good twist i thought.

Even though it was a thriller and not a horror, I thought it was a really well done movie.
It was suspensful, and I was guessing 'til the end. whee

I liked the movie since it made me think towards the end, like the japanese movies. The twist was so good, I never saw it coming (or maybe im just really stupid lol).

i liked it alot...and the ending was really that good...i was thinking it would be crappy...but i was happy with the ending...and i didnt expect it

the funny thing is when she said "i bet they dont have gardens like these in new jersey" and the girl said "actually new jersey is the garden state" i was laughing so hard because i live in new jersey and i cought what she was saying as soon as the old lady said what she said.... rofl

I have to say, I really enjoyed it. I had heard it was going to be a horror movie and was pleasently surprised when it wasn't. Needless to say, I stayed away from mirrors for awhile after that. sweatdrop
