The first question in his mind as he walked up to the house was, why? Why was he here again? Sure there was a party, but honestly, the last party he had been to hadn't been that impressive in Antony's mind. And what was worse, he thought as he glanced down at the boy walking on all fours next to him, was that he was babysitting Miss Missy's demonic looking son.
Who, he realized blankly, did not like him in the least, as the boy looked at him through cold dangerous golden eyes. "We will only be staying for a moment," he promised the boy. "Miss Missy expects us back in an hour."
The only reason she had trusted him with the boy was because it seemed Chris could lift a small car and was as big as Antony, had he been standing properly.
Antony reached up, knocking on the door. If no one answered he could leave sooner!

Family holidays were actually rather big with the Ta'rish'e family. Perhaps it was because before their mother had always been so enthusiastic about them. Ever since the boys were children she had arranged family games, cookied huge dinners, and generally gotten them all into the spirit of whatever holiday it was. The tradition had carried on even after she had died, if a little hapharzardly.
So it wasn't surprising that the family was willing to go to a party...and show its christmas spirit. The twins, rather then wearing costumes themselves, had thought it amusing to put...everyone else in one. They had stuffed deer antlers on Liam and were unable to get him into anything else; but luckily, he was wearing muted browns and such anyway. They, of course, could not get at Victor, but instead decided to torture poor Kai. The older brother was forced into a dorky elf suit, complete with bells and funny shoes. And though it was rather sad, it wasn't as surprising as what they bribed Riley to wear. Mind, it had been a heavy bribe, but hey, it was worth it for their fun. What was 5 pans of ginger bread cookies compared to this?
"Ayeeee, it's cold, hurry up!" Riley sqwuaked as she jumped out of the car. Her sleaveless "miss santa" top did not offer any protection when it came to the night air. She was lucky she was able to wear some black pants under her matching skirt, lest her legs would have frozen off...and there would have been two dead twins laying in the gutter. And the little matching hat seemed to at least keep her feathered ears warm too. It seemed to her like her brothers had turned into turtles; it was taking them FOREVER to get out of the car! Unable to wait any longer she bounded to the doorstep, black boots clapping along the pavement. She ran the bell, her fingers slipping in the chill and making it ring a couple of times rather then one. "Hurry uuuuup," she hissed under her breath, bouncing up and down as if it would drive away the wind. She blinked, realizing suddenly that she wasn't the only one at the door. Despite the situation she grinned, "Hey Antony!" Did he look shorter or what? Was he shrinking maybe?

Antony jerked, looking up at the newly grown Riley in shock. She was SO much taller than him now... It wasn't fair!! He opened his mouth to reply, but nothing came out.
Chris sat down, looking bored out of his mind.

Kisala looked down at the little guy when he spoke-- maybe he wasn't quite as little as he looked? He was a cute little dude, too. She reached down to pat his head gently,
"Uh, yeah, Merry Chrissmann to you too!" she replied.
Shiori smiled at the other woman as she sat down,
"No, I don't mind at all." she eyed her daughter quickly to make sure she still wasn't in trouble yet and then returned her attention to Lixxie,
"I'm Shiori, and that's my daughter, Kisala," she motioned to the brunette.

Harper nodded when Carlisle answered for himself. "Yup. That's him." He told Kisala, watching her move away. "Hey! Don't be shy okay?! YO! MANNY! SHE'S SHY!" He proclaimed to the world obnoxiously, pointing Kisala out. "It's okay lil dude I gotta answer the door!" He said as well, while setting Carlisle down at his feet.
Next matter of business was to open the door, and lo and behold.... "HEEEEY ANTONY! I was wondering when you'd get here! Come i... Oh.. uh.. whats.. that.." He blinked a few times at Chris and then shrugged. "Not as strange as your face! MANNY LOOK IT'S ANTONY!" Clever boy.
Then Harper noticed the tall blonde boobified thing and shook his head, "You know, it ain't cool to crash kids' parti.. Ri..le..y..?"
Soloman shimmied over to the grouping ladies while stuffing cookies and (now) booze in his mouth. "This is great, all the kids, I was sorta afraid Harper's little party would like. You know. Bomb. And tragically alter his life forever."
Sunny cleared his throat. "AHEM! If I could have your attention for a moment! Those of you planning on leaving your children here there is a SIGN IN sheet to your left and if you would please leave your number!" He nodded efficiently and folded his arms behind his back contentedly.

Ok, so everyone was shrinking it seemed. And looking at her funny. She assumed it was the suit and shrugged it off. Hey, she was getting at least 50 cookies just for wearing this thing. It was so worth it. "'ey, that's not fair Harper, you'd reck your party long before I could do anything to it!" she scoffed, sticking out her tongue at him. Thoughs he sucked it back in her mouth as she felt a hand rest on her shoulder.
"Be polite to the host, Riley," Victor scolded gently. Liam stood silently beside him, which was rather comical considering his face was serious but he was wearing a headband with felt antlers. Kai was trying to look polite as well, but was a bit busy trying to fend Mikael and Runeh off as they kept trying to ring the assortment of bells littering his outfit.

He pouted when Harper put him down, but didn't make too much of a scene. Instead, he grabbed at Kisala's hand. "Rosie?" Sometimes the crazy angel's niece would come over and they played a game where they sang a song, ran in cercles, and fell down. Did all girls know that game? After a moment's careful observation, Carlisle concluded, no. This girl didn't know the song.
"Thank you so much," Lixxie said. "I'm Elixabete, Lixxie for short. The dark-haired boy is mine. His name is Carlisle." She smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

It was Harper. "Let's go, Chris," Antony said, turning, ready to walk away at that. It was rude, but he reeeealllly didn't want to put up with Harper, especially when it seemed to be his party.
Chris got to his feet and knuckles again, starting to follow.

Harper shook his head disapprovingly at Riley, "You have boobs." He cleverly observed, moving out of her way to let her and her entourage in. "Don't be such a baby Antony, I won't say a single stupid word to you then! I dunno why YOU listen to him." Harper muttered to Chris while he turned around and ran inside .. into his own party!

At Harper's declaration Manny rushed to the door, nearly tripping on her high heels as she pushed past Riley (at the time she hadn't recognized her yet) and managed to get in front of Antony and the strange child he had with him. "Anto-nee," she whined, crossing her hands behind her back, "Don't leave yet, the party's just starting. Come on, they haven't even played any music yet. Why don't y-" She froze, looking over his shoulder. She recognized those ears. With a screech she bounded back toward Riley, leaping onto her back. "Riley you're so big!" she shouted, pausing when she felt something on her front, "And you've got boobs!" She gave her friend an approving look, patting the new assets, "Nice ones."

Melchizedek completely ignored Katrina at this point, choosing instead to focus completely on Keres. "ILETYOUWIN!" he screeched in response, puffing up his tail so he looked exaggeratedly large and forbidding and then launching himself at Keres again. Oh, they were going to have a rematch right here and now, and damned (Katrina would DIE if she knew Melchy had just thought that word) if anyone else got in their way. "I'MMABEATYOUDOWN, KERES!" he snapped over the din of everyone else trying to talk over the din of Melchy and Keres.
Katrina just shook her head and sighed, looking at Anya and rolling her eyes. “They probably won’t kill each other,” she said with a moderate degree of certainty. “I’m pretty sure someone will manage to find a hose or a big stick if it goes that far. We could always just break bottles over their heads,” she suggested, then shrugged. “But let’s get to emptying some of those, first,” she said, glanced over at Sunny, and just giggled. “Sunny!” she said brightly. “Darling! Do you have anything alcoholic?” She batted her eyelashes at him, deciding to go after Soloman for booze if she couldn’t hit up Sunny for anything hard.

Chris blinked as he heard a familiar voice. "Melchy?" he asked in his strange double voices. With that he headed in as well, leaving Antony to deal with the two females who seemed quite happy to see each other.

"Whaaa? You can't leave a party right when you get to it!" Riley said, giving Antony a gawking look as if he were the one who looked different. Though her focus couldn't be held long on his odd behavior because soon she was being bombarded with comments about her no longer flat chest. She leaned forward slightly so that Manny wouldn't fall off and reached back to grab the other girl's legs to keep her on piggy-back style. It didn't look like Riley'd be able to keep her there long though; she might be slightly taller, but she was still very light framed. "Hey Manny!" She chirped cheerily with a grin, though she had to roll her eyes after a moment, "What's this obsession with my boobs, anyway?" That was two people commenting on it within...20 seconds?

"NOTIFIBEATYOUFIRST!" She screamed back and then launched her own self at him. Oh she SO beat him at that first match and there was NO way he was going to beat her in this second one, even if there was interference from one of their guardians.
"YOUDON'THAVEYOURLITTLESTCIKNOW, MIS-...ter..." Just as she made contact with Melchy her voice faltered and she stopped moving. Her eyes had caught the sight of Christian and holy crap he was AWESOME. "MELMELMEL, lookit that," she said enthusiastically and smacked him a few times to make sure he looked at what she was looking at.
Anya shook her head at the two tussling children and just decided to focus her entire being on adult conversation and drinking. She liked the way Katrina thought; it made perfect sense.
She turned to the person Katrina was addressing/asking for booze and offered her own little pleading smile.. smirk... LOOK.

"Because they make you look like a girl, duh," Manuela explained, hopping down on the ground. She brushed her dress off then looked back at her friend, feeling a sudden rush of insecurity. She turned and pulled her dress taught, hoping to find some comparison. To her dismay she was still flatchested enough that she didn't even need a training bra, and what with Riley's new developments that seemed much more obvious. She flushed slightly, offering Riley a sidelong glance. "You look nice," she admitted, turning back to face her, "Almost like you're really trying to be pretty."
