Seori Devin_Kruljac_Truessence Seori There isn't too much I can think of to do...However, one of my friends came up with an idea to buy an hour spot at a local TV broadcasting station, and devote it to educating the public on how these animals are raised and treated. Yes, it would mean time, money and dedication, not to mention tons of footage of these animal on IN the warehouses of these companies, but hopefully it will send the message out. That sounds like a good idea. That may result in boycotts against the inhumane farming. I'm thinking about writing multiple suggestions in the suggestion boxes where I work about making the lobster tank roomier and more home like. Ugh! I HATE going to the supermarket and seeing 20 lobster crammed into a tiny little tank crying I think I asked my mom once, when I was around 4 if we could buy one. She looked at me suspiciously( I've always hated the taste of seefood ) and asked me what I would do with it. Why, we'd put in our huge and roomy fish tank of course ( or in the closest quote I can think of ) "Put him with mammy and cola ( our fish ) and he can live in the little sea at home" whee That's cute. smile I wish more lil kids were like that.

When I saw the lobsters at the supermarket when I was younger, I always used to look at them, but I never thought about how cruely they were treated. It never crossed my mind. All cramped up with rubber bands around their claws. That was just my child innocence though. I am just glad those stores that I went to don't have that anymore.

Oh yeah, back to the ideas.
I figure step #1 is to find out what really happens to the animals. Go to the farms and ask questions and stuff. Then we can... uh, I don't know, there is such a demand for meat. We can try to get more vegetarians, or ... no, that will only go so far... we can atleast find humane ways to treat the animal. Pet them, talk to them, let them stretch their legs for a bit every day, NO STEROIDS, OR CUTTING OFF THEIR BEAKS OR PUTTING THEM IN EXTRA TINY CAGES!!!!!!!!!!!

I would think that any time that a person raises an animal they would show it love like a pet.
