RuiZhi smiled. "Rumors? You can't rely on those here." He chuckled again, motioning to the skateboard by Scyeth's feet. "Going to our room sounds good, but if you're taking that, I'll meet you there I suppose." The boy paused a moment, rethinking the sentence, uncertain of why it sounded so...off. Strange.
He gave a perplexed smile to Scyeth - still not sure what a 'muffin' was - shrugging his own shoulders in response. "Yeah, let's take a look. You probably need a change of gauze, but you're almost done wearing the sling." RuiZhi motioned down the hall, his smile encouraging and honest, not at all bothered that he was being accused of having relations with a teacher.
Now, if he had talked about two other teachers, that might have been slightly more awkward.

...clearly, though Scyeth wasn't about to admit he was in the wrong by trusting rumors. Quite frankly, the oddest ones usually seemed to be the true ones. "Alright. See you there," the blond muttered, pride still severely wounded. Gods. He was never going to do that again. At least RuiZhi wasn't mad at him...or all weepy and upset. He'd never forgive himself if he made his roommate cry after all he'd done. You know. The arm thing. The not laughing thing. Big things, in the book of Scyeth.
"...thanks."
...it was a good thing Scyeth had no idea about those other teachers.
