Aznburninator I never liked the Cash Shop from the beginning. The MC upgrades only increase the prices for a "Full" MC... Why couldn't the armor poses be included IN the actual MC?
I started off disliking the MCs, due to the fact that I can frigging well get Gaia Cash!
But I like it now, especially the MC add-on armour. 3nodding
It's a new and exciting way to think about MCs, plus I can't wait for more mounts to be released which don't flood my avatar. (or I hope they get released)
Plus the armour is only 25 Cash, which is how much we were originally given.

Comeon how can you seriously think that?
Gaia is just looking for money is an obvious gap to fill.
They make a mount item and everyone is talking about how they will use them as mounts in Gaia Battle, so the Devs think 'We could make an item which makes the mounts look more battle-like, then we can make there be several poses which need them to be bought more than once'.
Thus a bunch of people who like the idea buy the armour, and those who think they will sell well buy them to sell on the market.
Bish, bash, bosh, a lot of people are happy and in pocket.

The item isn't as bad as it looks on first glance really. Sure it started off looking a bit odd and cluttered but you get use to it after a second or third look. Plus the armour makes the mounts look a lot better.

I've got the animal and armor, in my opinion it was well worth donating for.
Oh, and the title reminds me of this:

Mounts: Ingenuity certainly went into the concept, and in theory, they do seem very intriguing. However, in practice, they just don't work.
Had they put more time into the positioning of the avatar versus the anatomy of the animal, it really could have worked very well.
Unfortunately, due to the awkward size difference, as well as the concave back of the beast, it really just comes off with poor enjampment.
Armor: Clever round on this one. The cheapness of the item really is very intelligent.
At this point in Gaia's "Cash" strategy, they're going to release any new items at very low prices. Why? Because they intend to acclimate Gaians into the idea of purchasing items with real money. Once the novelty of the system wears off, and it becomes second nature, they can make the new releases a little bit more costly.
I do fear the worst though - Will the frequency of new Gold items continue onwards in this state of total stagnation? Hopefully not, but I do worry.
It's getting to the point where I rarely see regular Gaians in store-bought items. They're decked out with so many MCs that they're practically the poster children for Overclocked Avatars Monthly. Back in my AT Glory Days, I was one of the more highly-regarded Raters in the whole subforum. I had a steadfast rule: Two Donation Items maximum. For every item over the limit, I would start slashing off points.
Anyone can make a cool and sparkly avatar with cool and sparkly items, but it takes some real skill to manipulate more steadfast tools.

They're decked out with so many MCs that they're practically the poster children for Overclocked Avatars Monthly. I've always been bothered by that, but you're right. It is getting pretty ridiculous. I'm wearing a grand total of 3 MCs and 2 cash shop items right now- none of which I actually bought. I've bought 3 MCs in the almost 3 years I've been on Gaia. 2 KiKis when I first joined (my wealth just accumulated from there =P) and then there was one I just really liked (but I don't remember what it was). *SIGH*

I feel like MCs are almost over common as well. Currently I'm only wearing one. Though its worth literally a million gold xd
