faolan Lady Merewyn *sighs* Ah, cheap rent... it's sad when you're splitting a place with three people and still end up paying $800 a month each, and that's for a cheap place, by this city's standards. Doesn't leave much cash on hand for actually having fun, or eating, for that matter. Sounds like you must live near me. Haha, other coast. I'm in DC. Sometimes I think I was born on the wrong coast.

Well, my door is always open. blaugh Seriously, though... I've been adamantly without a car for a few years now, and these past couple months I've kind of been pointing and laughing at all my friends who can't afford this or that because gas is over $4 a gallon. o_O;

I rely entirely on the public transit system, or wherever my legs can carry me. It's far more practical.

Quite useful for dragging groceries around. Of course, it tends to piss off anyone else in the van, but hell, it's free.

Check Louisiana. Between the pot laws and the humidity (which I've only experienced as a description in mom's stories of her high school days), I'm genuinely baffled that anyone would choose to live there. edit: OMG Puerto Rico... Bloody HELL -- that's definitely one place I'm never going!
