ChuChu started to lose her balance from the sudden foot-tripping. She flailed her arms wildly. This was NOT a good time to trip with metal flying everywhere. A peice flew above her, the edge barely cutting her back due to her reflexes that managed to bring her ducking down in time. ChuChu winced.
"ChuChu! Dig!" Luna shouted.
"Nya!" With that, she started pawing the ground until she made a small safe hole for herself. There she would wait for the metal to stop flying. And if by chance her opponent decided to use her hole, she would have the advantage. It was a one way tunnel afterall, with a PMSing raichu at the end.

Pillan dodged a couple of the last flying pieces of debris, not being quick enough to avoid one and earning a gash across his back. He looked around for his opponent.
"She's in the hole, sweet!" Nox called, gesturing twords the raichu's safe haven, "Try directing a swift in there!" she suggested to her wounded partner.
"Su risusu!" he replyed in agreement, taking a deep breath and blasting the star-shaped rays into the mouth of the tunnel.

"Let's make this whole place explode! Thunder!"
...Oh geez. This was going to hurt. BUT OH WELL! ChuChu gave a grim smile as she saw the stars coming down towards her. Static laced around her body again and...BOOM! Thunder from above snaked it's way down towards her while she released her own electricity upwards, the two meeting in a large electrical explosion.
ChuChu was blasted out the hole and flew outwards, but she maanged to regain her balance and position after a few tumbles.

Pillan was blown back by the explosion. After a few summersaults he came to a stop. As the dazed pachirisu got to his paws, he shook off the lingering numbness from the wild electricity. He looked up to his trainer for a command.
"Umm.." Nox mumbled, nibbling nervously on her thumb nail. "Oh! Pillan, rollout!"
He perked up at this. He always liked rollout, it must have been the dizzy rush of spinning over and over to attach your opponent that attracted him. It would agrivate his back wound but he didn't really care.
"Risuu!" he attested, leaping into the air and rolling himself up tightly. When he hit the floor, his small, balled-up form sped twords ChuChu, hoping to knock her feet out from under her.

"That's fine with us! ChuChu, give them a mega punch!" Luna shouted, mimicing the attack by thrusting her arm out in a punching motion.
"Chuuuu...!" The raichu responded in a low, determined done. ChuChu stared intently at the rolling ball of fur close approaching. Her left fist started to glow as she raced towards the attack.
The pachrisu was clever -- it attacked to her side at first, causing her to temporarily lose her balance. But she immedately whipped around and stretched her paw towards the ball of fur, attempting to hit it with all her might.

Pillan was struck in the side by the mega punch, flying about ten feet away like a soccer ball from a kick. When he landed he stuck out a front leg, latching on to the ground, and made a quick U-turn straight back twords the unassuming raichu.
Nox watched with trepidation. I hope that back wound won't get worse bacause of this. she thought He's getting tired. she continued to herself, worrying her thumbnail some more.

Pillan tackled ChuChu right when she had turned around to spot the other pokemon, taking the poor Raichu by surprise. ChuChu tumbled a few times before bouncing back up. She looked towards Luna, having a glint in her eyes.
"That move? " Luna asked, raising her eyebrows. "Well, go ahead and try it then, but don't aim for the neck. Don't want to kill anyone, neh?"
ChuChu gave Pillan an intimidating grin. She raced towards the other pokemon as fast as she could, her paws glowing again. Another physical attack? Yup. Mega punch? Nope. Once she got to the other pokemon, she jumped up and brought her paw smashing down, hopefully onto Pillan's head. BRICK BREAK!

(( Yep, I'm taking German this year.))
"Pillan! Watch out!" his trainer shouted.
Pillan swiftly dodged underneath the raichu, successfuly avoiding the attack this time. He swiftly spun around, spying the small crater the female had made.
"Hurry Pillan! Use cut while she's recovering!"
Pillan bared his claws and swung, aiming for the middle of ChuChu's back.

"Tickle!" Luna shouted on last minute improvision.
Just as Pillan made contact with ChuChu, ChuChu brought her tail to Pillan's armpits and well...tickled. Hopefully the other pokemon would have some ticklish spot in his body. Meanwhile, Pillan's attack had barely missed ChuChu's spine, thank goodness. But it still did hurt. Oh darn. Now she couldn't tease Prince for being old when he had backaches.

"What in the world?!" Nox exclaimed.
"Pachii!" Pillan squeeked and jumped away from the offending tail. Unfortunatly, he tripped in the crater the raichu made but moments ago, landing hard on his wounded back. "Suu!"
Nox spied a piece of shrapnel from the burst tower near her pachirisu's tail and thought fast. "Pillan! The shrapnel! Use fling!"
The damaged male staggered up, trying to ignore the pain of his wound. At the comprehension of his trainer's words he grabbed the flat piece of metal and threw it like a frisbee twords ChuChu.

"ChuChu, batter up! Iron tail!" Luna shouted towards her
"Chu!" ChuChu turned to the side, wagging her tail and holding it as one would hold a bat. A glowing lightning-bolt shaped bat. When the attack came, she swung her tail, hitting the item back at Pillan. A little dent appeared in her tail from it, but she didn't mind. TAKE THAT!
Luna only prayed that ChuChu's aim was better than the last time they practiced baseball.

Pillan's eyes widened as the piece of metal came flying back at him. His legs being reluctant to move his weight, he could not avoid it in time and took the full force of the flat of the metal to his chest.
"Su-!" He coughed as it connected. He flew back and fell heavily onto his back. I think I'll stay here for awhile he thought through the haze of pain and promptly fainted.
"Pillan!" Nox yelled, "Pillan-sweet, wake up!" She continued to call to her pokemon, waiting for the arena to power down and the trainer boxes to open.
"Finally!" she exclamed as the gate opened to let her through. She ran up to her pachirisu, scooping him up into her arms and whiping out a potion. As she sprayed it onto the damaged squirrel he regained hazy consiousness.
"You did great, sweet." she said, nuzzeling the top of his head, ignoring the dirt she got on herself.

"Nice battle ChuChu!" Luna said as ChuChu scampered towards her trainer. The two of them hifived before ChuChu promptly curled back up in Luna's hat that dangled from her neck, her favorite spot minus the occasional rocking and falling down.
She walked towards Nox. "That was a pretty good battle!" She said. "Is your pokemon alright? I didn't think the explosion would be THAT bad...of course, i did almost drown another pokemon earlier..."
