Come on, who DIDN'T see this coming...
BUT! All those people that were bitching about how they changed the name of the book.... I went to a used bookstore out of boredom the other day, and found a copy of the book printed in 1997. Guess which title it had.
That's right...
The Golden Compass.

They never changed the title. The SERIES is called "His Dark Materials." The 1st book in the series is called The Golden Compass.

Before any movie was ever brought up. Anyway, I think the item had potential. It looks good in the pocketwatch pose, but all the others either suck or are barfing. Why didn't they have one where you had it open, facing you, as if you were actually looking at the thing? Well, because then it would barf all over you, I guess. >.<
