Dread Lycan Well, not really. As I said, DVD's, CD's, anything of that sort its a possibility because the script in the date allows it to be rewinded. However, as we all know, when a game is scratched and messes up, id doesn't repeat the damaged part of the disc again and again because it wasn't programmed to be able to rewind. And also, it couldn't be a possibility because even if it did have the power to rewind, it still couldn't move Aeris from her set track. I didn't see Aeris doing any 360's while in the water, she went strait down. It is not possible, unless you were to reprogram the game for her to move from her strait down path. Hey thanks for the idea, i have the programming for that i will try that for some games

I never understood why they didn't try to revive her either! And I think Cloud is magical or something- in Advent Children he takes a bullet to the head but only loses his sunglasses.

This isnt going to turn into a "Why didnt they revive Aeris!?" thread now, is it?
Well, to n** that notion in the bud, the reason she wasnt revived or brought back with a Phoenix Down has already been mentioned: SHE DIED. She wasnt Knocked Out(KOd) like what happens in a regular battle. She had a sword shoved through her back and out her front. You dont come back from that without unnatural enhancement. Phoenix Downs and the Revive materia only cure the KO status...not actual death. Its kinda the cinematic curse as well, since deaths in cinematics are always more powerful than deaths in-game.

As stated above. And Cloud wasn't shot in the head, he was shot in the back. Which many people survive from everyday.

SPOILERS!!!
No, this shot went through his chest, and he was dying. But Aeris said he didn't belong there with them in the after life. Cloud was then healed by the lifestream which he was found floating in. Cloud was stabbed in the shoulder with a sword and barely flinched, so a graze from a gunshot would not faze him.

Hes talking about the beginning of the movie when Yazoo's bike flips over Cloud in the canyon scene and Yazoo shoots Cloud point blank, merely knocking off Clouds shades.

We can safely assume (through Final Fantasy logic) that Cloud's shades in the beginning are made of a bullet-proof substance that merely resulted in the bullet ricocheting from the glasses frame, knocking them from his face. Bleeding probably resulted from the glasses hitting against his head when the bullet struck them.
Otherwise I'm pretty sure Yazoo could've screamed the ol' BOOM HEADSHOT line right then and there. lol
But back on topic, Dread Lycan quite clearly explained as to why this glitch was unlikely is not impossible to take place, and I have no reason to disagree with him. Good try though? domokun
