Mkaa wiggled his nose curiously as he tried to see exactly what his sister was seeing. Her anxiety over the whole situation had him tense, and the shade was much easier on his pale, pale eyes than it would have been if this monster was radiant. He just looked back at Tearh to agree with her, mom and dad weren't there.. and suddenly Tearh squeaked and bolted away, and he only dropped down into the grass and curled up defensively.
When nothing happened, and he only heard Tearh stumble and fall, he opened his eyes warily. He looked over to where his sister fell first, then back to the shadow.
Nothing.
With that, he got to his feet and jogged over to where Tearh was, "It's ok!"

Tearh curled up and watched as her brother came over to easily, the monster didn't chase him?! Merciful! Or so it seemed. Tearh has such nightmares shadows and silhouettes drove her to be cautious all of the time, she hated her scary dreams, and hoped they would never come true. "You sure?" Watching where he came from, Tearh stood, and back a few steps, and nudged Mkaa, "Lets go back and wait okay?" she spoke so softly, it was obvious in her eyes she was worrisome.
She just wanted her mommy and daddy close.
"Lets go..." and she started to walk, slowly, so she wouldn't be too fast, though she couldn't she was the smallest, the most nervous, but she loved her family so.
She loved them so.

Mkaa nodded confidently, though not without a wavering look around them. He didn't want her to get more frightened, so he stood close to her. Whether or not they'd actually evaded something here, he was more than happy to agree to going home now. Mommy and daddy would be home soon, and now Mkaa knew that the best plan was probably to wait at home to begin with.
"Let's go," he agreed, following along with her.
