I find it... oddly amusing that the moment they deleted the thread, someone had just posted something about rebelling. =) I was scared they might ban me/us that I emptied my account into a mule's and now I look stupid. I need to find a cheap outfit to wear that I won't miss in case they do decide to ban us. But damn it!! I want to wear my evolving items and Gwee and elf ears and... crying

Is there any news on recently banned fishers?

I will be working on it, but if you feel up to it, you can start PMing the people in Snuggles friend list. I PM'd the ones that had messages in my inbox, but there are a lot that are unaware. As for the being banned thing, I was worried about that too, so I did the same thing as you. So now my avi looks stupid too.

It's interesting what gaia allows and what they don't allow. They feel that if they're not happy with what they see, they'll delete it. So when you brought up the that thing about certain threads and posts with titles like; "I f**ked your mother" It's as if Gaia is advocating certain behavior that goes contrary to what kind of environment Gaia was originally made for.

As for the botted items, I was chatting with another friend about items sold in the new mp bought with botted gold. I told him that Gaia would be directly involved and linked as well in approving botted gold since they now collect 2% of the purchase, that is if the item or the gold originated from botting. So I found it rather interesting that the fault goes only one way with the user being banned.

I dunno... a lot of the things i've read, found and seen on gaia are very contradicting with what they're promoting. it's best that we don't keep silent about this. the more vocal and active we are with this issue the more likely they will hear us and change the way they run things on here.

I too would like to see some change. Mostly in the form of stopping the banning of the innocent and un-ban those innocent that have been banned. This includes fishers, and people who got banned who unitentionally aquired botted items or gold. It would also be nice if the admins were less abbrasive toward users. Thats the way they have come off to me anyway.

Is anyone else getting "cannot connect to game server" when they try to go fishing? Me and the wife have gotten it on every lake, on every server!!! Did they just completely shut fishing down?

The game is currently down. All servers at every lake are down. There's no guarantee of when they can be brought back up, but I'm going to shoot for poking someone monday at the latest.

Not to be sound rude or anything, but does this have anything to do with my thread about good fishers getting banned that was moved from here to chatterbox, only to be deleted from chatterbox?

Nothing to do with it in the least. Sometimes the servers get overloaded, it's that simple. They need a little reset to get them going again, but the person needed for that probably will be unavailable until Monday.
