Makani arrived at the "finish line" unsurprisingly first, skidding to a stop, then turning quickly, to make sure he didn't miss who arrived first. He lifted his paw, holding it out to the side. Whoever arrived first was supposed to jump over it-- it wasn't too hard, and cheetah were good jumpers. Just an easier way to see who got there first, just in case of some.. insane tumble.
"C'mon, Urd! Show Loki who's boss! " He cheered, but mostly just because Urd was in the back; she'd hesitated! Silly thing. Even then, however, Loki was the first to get over his paw-- the landing wasn't exactly lovely though.
"DIDIWIN? " Loki gasped, falling to the ground and rolling clumsily forward, stopping flat on his back before scrambling to all fours again, fur a horrible mess. It seemed that he wasn't quite sure if he'd won or not-- sometimes dad would be mean and switch it around! Like 'oh, I lied, last one wins! '
Silly dad.
Damn, he'd kind-of been rooting for UrdNuru(mostly as an excuse to pick on Loki a bit later)... Oh well. "Yeah, sure. " He smiled, bopping Loki over the back of his head, standing up and picking up his daughter who'd just arrived by the scruff of her neck.
"Come on, lets go say hi to mom. " He said, muffled through the white cubs fur, beginning in a trot towards wherever the female was, guessing by where Urd had come from, Loki soon enough standing and moving in a neat trot beside his dad.
