"Albireo! Flip!"
Albireo jumped out of the water. Due to his timing, he only got hit a little by the attack - to his tail. But he would live. Albireo had a bright idea then. Why not make even MORE waves?
"Albireo! Surf!" Apparently, Luna had the same idea.
Albireo's eyes glowed as he dived back into the water. THIS WAS GOING TO BE FUN! Albireo splashed into the water. The splash soon grew larger and larger, a blue light glowing around it. Slowly, it turned into...A TIDAL WAVE! The water level on the pool went down, but in return, the wave was quite large.

"Use psychic again!"
It seemed Zuki had the same idea the Umbreon had. His golden rings began glowing dark blue before his whole body did the same, and after a moment purple energy spilled onto the platform he was on. Ignoring the falling water levels, he concentrated on surrounding the entire platform with psychic energy. Once done, he used his psychic energy to steer the platform away from the wave. He turned his glowing blue eyes on the Dewgong, and sent a sharp wave of psychic energy through the water towards Albireo.

Albireo winced as the psychic energy threatened to take his breath away. He darted back to the surface, taking a breath of air. "Y0uz n0 fUnz!"Albireo spoke.
"Albireo! Let's go with another icy wind!" Luna shouted, seeing her pokemon getting tired. She had to buy some time for him.
"M0r3 c#111z c0m1ng!" Albireo opened his mouth and blew, unleashing his frosty breath at the super-wet Ryou. The attack would be quite fatal if it hit.

"Blast right through it with that new move you learned from that TM, Ryou!" Kazuki shouted, knowing the Umbreon would be a goner if he was frozen. "Hyper beam!"
His ears flicked when he heard his trainer's next command, contemplating. He hadn't had much chance to practice this move yet, but now wasn't the time to think on that. He quickly opened his mouth, a small ball of amber light materializing in front of him. After several moments he released the powerful attack, blasting it straight through the icy wind and towards Albireo.

((Sorry if this is shorter than I intended, I kinda got mad after retyping it two times >> ))
"This looks bad..." Luna said as Kazuki announced his move. Her brain raced to think of a solution. The only one that could come to her at that moment was -- "Albireo! Ice beam!"
Albireo had no time to give his trainer verbal feedback, he had to act. NOW. The attack was coming closer and closer towards him and he knew it would be particulary painful to get hit by it. A beam of blue light immediately shot from his horn, peircing through the hyperbeam and racing towards Ryou.
On Albireo's side, the aprts of the attack that wasn't cut through by his own attack knocked him backwards into the water again in a large SPLASH!

"Ryou, look out!"
Too late. His half-frozen, pained hip refused to allow him freedom of movement, and the powerful attack he had just shot at Albireo tired him further. He merely looked upwards towards his opponent as he braced himself for the Dewgong's attack.
He shuddered slightly as the ice beam surrounded his already cold, wet body, and ice formed around him, freezing him in place for a short time. He snapped his eyes open and growled, struggling to free himself from the cold, icy prison.

"Let's secure him Albireo!" Luna shouted.
Albireo barked. He opened his mouth to release an unrelenting icy wind attack at Ryou's direction. Cold air and hail both flew towards the frozen umbreon, in an attempt to make a Ryou-sicle.
The former water arena was now half destroyed, with platforms broken to peices and large chunks of ice stinking out from the water. It was a rough battle, and Luna had a feeling that it would end soon if Albireo didn't manage to make a comeback.

Ryou had just managed to free himself from the ice when the icy wind surrounded him, freezing him in place...yet again. Being a popsicle wasn't very fun. His sightless eyes glowed dark blue and he growled, but remained helpless, encased in ice. Albireo would pay.....as soon as he got out of the ice. Again.

Luna giggled to herself. "Ryou-sicle~! Okay Albireo! Let's chop him up! Aqua Tail!"
Albireo dove into the water, swimming towards Ryou's side of the field. He emerged next to Ryou's platform. Jumping up, he brought down his tail towards Ryou's body in hope of doing some damage.

The Umbreon watched Albireo dive underwater, his forehead ring glowing dark blue as he attempted to figure out where the Dewgong would pop up. Right in front of him, apparently. However, either due to the platform tipping slightly with the weight of the Ryou-sicle or some other reason, the dark-type slipped off the edge of the platform, ice and all, and completely avoided Albireo's attack. Luckily for Ryou, the ice allowed him to float in the pool of water, at least for now.

"...whooops." Luna said, scratching her head. Wow, she never would have expected THAT to happen. "Okay then! Albireo! Surf!" Maybe an attack with better accuracy would help...? "...don't drown Ryou though!" She added. She definately did not want to see her favorite umbreon die. ((Or get mauled by Duelist >> ))
Albireo's eyes glowed a shade of blue agian as water formed from behind him and flowed over Ryou, possibly chilling him even more.

The Umbreon became chilled to the bone as the wave of cold water washed over him. True, he was still encased in a layer of ice, but his body heat and now the giant wave were working to make the ice thinner and weaker. It was almost weak enough to escape. Just a little bit longer...
"Hang in there, Ryou!" Kazuki called, watching as the icicle Umbreon bobbed up and down helplessly in the water. Only a little bit longer, and he would be free to attack again, and end the battle.

"Ehhh...this seems bad. The ice is melting. Kazu-ki~Would Ryou be mad if we tried to make it thicker?" Luna asked. "Ice beam!"
Albireo barked, light glowing from his cracked horn once again before being shot at Ryou. Here we go again!

Ryou remained encased in the ice, biding his time, until he heard Luna command Albireo. His eyes began glowing dark blue again, and Kazuki immediately knew what the Umbreon was thinking. "Now, Ryou! Dark pulse!"
"Bre!" With a loud crack Ryou broke free of the ice, purposefully sinking below the surface of the water as the ice beam soared over his head. He swam downwards a bit while his rings glowed the same color as his eyes, and after a moment he released his attack. The built-up dark energy surged through the pool in violent waves, heading straight towards Albireo.

"Haha, I guess he wouldn't like that. Well, we're almost all out of energy, so let's make this our final game~Turn Ryou into a popsicle again! Ne Albireo?" She asked to her dewgong.
Albireo shot a goofy grin back towards Luna. He was dead tired and he knew it. So why not make it fun? Albireo dived into the water, right at the dark pulse. More pain -- but he ignored it. His whole body was throbing, what difference did it make?
Defying all logic, Albireo shot another blue beam of light towards Ryou's murky figure in the water.
"I'll make sure Ryou is very traumatized of status conditions~!"
((I'm saying that ice beam has selective interaction with matter >>
