*Shinta dash through the halls listening for any sounds of combat, he turned down one hall and quickly stepped back. Around the corner were several brutes and two jakals* ~Okay that's not good... what to do~ he thought to himself. *Shinta quickly pulled out the spiker he had picked up earlier, and pulled out the spike which had been in his shoulder. He slowly placed the spike into the trigger guard and armed the gun* ~Hope this works~ *He threw the gun at the group around the corner and crouched down. The gun started to spin around firing of spikes in every direction, after several minutes of chaos he stepped out around the corner* "Two of the jakals are dead and three brutes died.... they're so stupid."

Liz walked over to the Chopper that Tex had shot the driver out of. She passed it and walked to the Brute. She knelt down to get the unusual looking weapon, but was surprised when the Brute grabbed her wrist. "What tha-?!!!?!!!" Liz exclaimed, the bullet from Tex's sniper rifle had scraped across his head, taking out the Brute's eye. Liz dropped the Ak that she used and puched the Brute, knocking him out. She picked up her AK and the little shotgun that she tried to pick up earlier. She picked up the Brute and slung it on her shoulder, her knees nearly buckling under the weight. She carried the Brute over to the Vette and dumpded him in the back, chaining his arms to the ceiling of the Vette so he couldn't open up the weapons lockers near his feet and ran back to the Chopper and hopped on. "Chief, you drive my Vette, Tex, you get shotgun, and Elite, you get the turret, now move out!" Liz said, turning back the way they came so they could pickup reinforcements.

The two vehicle eventually came back to the Chief's team, they were glad that he had not been lost or killed, but were a little uneasy about the KO'ed Brute, the Elite, or the Hunter. They were warily looking toward them during the entire reunion. Master Chief asked the Marines if they would like to accompany the group and help them rid the facility of any hostiles. They agreed, but Liz was sure it was for the Spartans protection, not for the sake of the facility, but she still agreed that they could help. They then went off to even deeper depths of the facility, with Liz in the lead, Tex following with the Vette, a Marine in shotgun with a shotgun, but pointing it to the Brute, Master Chief in one of two Warthogs, the Elite in the turret, and some more Marines in the other Warthog.

"So I hear that the Cheif is on this mission, is that true?" he said as they walked along. *He slowly lean around a corner* "All clear." He said, "So which way now, the left path or the right or back the other way we came?"

"Okay, I'm gonna go scout that one" *he closes eyes and points to a passage way* "Be right back." *Several minutes pass...there are sounds of a peson running* "Not that way, not that way run!" shouted Shinta as an army of Brutes charged after him.

*Shinta jumped on to as a hail of spikes flew around him* "Go fast!" he shouted as he turned and started firing upon the Brutes with his duel hand guns.

"They're comming after us!" Shinta shouted over the vehicle. *From behind a group of Brutes on choppers started accelerating towards them. Shinta turned and pulled out his revolver and aimed at the vehicle* "Gotta make this shot count only 3 more after this round." he murmered to himself as he squeezed the trigger.

The four vehicle procession met with a few more skirmishes, but that was it, nothing like the first two battles, at least they filled up more weapons lockers, but after one battle, the Brute woke up, so they had to move the weapons lockers to the trunk of the Vette, the extra lockers were attached to the Warthogs and the Chopper, but they were getting worried about the Brute. They continued on until they had only one more floor to go, and when they got to the bottom, they were assaulted with the biggest battle yet, thousands of Drones, hundreds of Grunts, Jakals, and Brutes, and 6 Hunter pairs. Six, meaning twelve Hunters. They charged into battle, machine guns blazing, spikes flying everywhere, grenades falling as if from the sky, the final floor had turned out to be a giant room, nothing more. The Elite fired the gatling gun turret until it was out of ammo, the Hunter charged in, killing all in its path, the Chopper dicing Grunts, Jakals, and any Drones in the way, the Vette crushing everything under its wheels, the Hogs doing the same, after what seemed like half an hour of driving around killing all in sight with bullets, spikes, front bumpers, and wheels, the Vette ran out of gas, then the Hogs, and, not wanting to risk the Chopper running out of gas, Liz drove the Chopper back to the entrance of the floor above, and shut the Chopper off, and joined the battle, energizing the energy sword that she brought along and picked up another one on the ground near her feet, turning that one on, too. She rushed into battle, energy swords blazing and swinging, killing all in her path, until she met Tex again. "Hey, Tex. I have an idea that might be crazy enough to work!" Liz shouted over the sounds of battle raging around them. "What is it? I like crazy ideas!" Tex said in reply. Liz just told her to snipe the flying Jakal shield. "Tex agreed and readied her sniper rifle, jumping back. Liz put up her swords and picked up two Jakal energy shields and activated them. She threw them both at the same time, one on the right, one on the left. Tex saw this, and fired, hitting it perfectly. The shot rebounded off of each shield, killing all in the path of the bullet, thousands died in just a few seconds. The shields power died after a bit, leaving the bullet to hit..... the Chief. His shield went down, as did he, onto one knee, the bullet pierced the armor on his leg, almost breaking his leg. He still fought off the enemies though, but, just like the massive battle between Neo and all of those Smiths in the second Matrix movie, he was dog piled upon. Liz ran over, taking out her energy swords, and jumped forward, taking out most of the Grunts on the Chief, and he just threw the rest back.
