Bryn nodded. "Yeah, 'Tae's got Empathy. Only works when she's around friends, or blood relations of friends. Or herself, but, yeah. She's tried to get some control over it but it never worked so I think she just decided to live with it as best she can. 'S probably part of why she wanders around out of the house so much, whether she realizes it or not." Shrug.
She tilted her head at Xanul's shudder. "Honestly, cous... Having emotions is weird for me. I've never really had one long enough to understand them very well. Makes it kinda hard to get people sometimes, 'specially the sensitive ones like 'Tae. The telepathy helps some, but, well, emotions don't make a lotta sense sometimes. I guess that's why they're emotions and not ideas, though?"

"Mmm, well, Mom can control it quite well." He frowned. So did Lune, his other side, but he decided not to mention it for now. It seemed rather strange to him that this Atae couldn't control the power, since those who inherited it in his family seemed perfectly able to, but hey. Who was he to judge someone he barely knew?
"I don't know. Having no emotions is like so...heartless. I mean, when I did, it's like I didn't even care about those around me." He emitted a sigh. "I suppose it's really weird being half-Nobody. Any of your siblings got the same problem?"

Bryn shrugged. "Maybe 'Tae should try talking to her. I dunno." Bryn was... sort of... losing interest in this branch of the conversation, so she decided to concentrate on the other.
"Hmm. Well, heartless, yeah... that would be a good word for it, wouldn't it? I mean... if you don't have a heart at the time. Like... the metaphorical heart, anyway, the part of you that feels. Not the physical one. 'Cause then you'd be dead." She rolled onto her back and pawed at the air like a kit messing with some invisible string. "And most of the time... I really don't care about most of my friends, not like, the way they care about me, anyway. Some people really do trigger feelings in me, like Ed Nii-chan, and cousin Nah'ni. Most of the time I guess it's more some instinctual kinda thing that I'm not a total jerk? Like, they're my people, and I know they've got my back, or something? If someone outside the family or the group starts being an asshat I'll smack 'em with something 'cause it's entertaining, but I don't really give a flip." She shrugged, which looked rather odd when she was upside down. "I do get fairly well ticked off when someone messes with the family though. I mean, family teasing family, stuff like that, 's cool, but if someone really tries to mess with one of you guys they better hope I don't hear about it."
With a decisive nod she rolled back over and tilted her head. "My sis Kestrel's like me. Maybe worse, I dunno if she even gets feelings once in a while like I do. She's got dad's powers, too, though, and the other two don't really seem to, and they do have emotions..." Shrug. "Though I've heard Dahlia's a real b***h, I haven't seen her since we hatched so I really don't know. Revvy's awesome though. Best big brother ever." Nod nod nod. "Though... most people don't seem to appreciate his sense of humor. Buncha stick-in-the-muds."

"I think the heartless thing is still complicated." The teen frowned, expelling a sigh with a single breath. "I mean, does it mean that my heart kinda disappears during the full moon? And then it appears again? It's so...weird." Being a half-nobody was really...complicated. Like he said earlier. "I mean, I know it's linked to my dad's powers and grandad's werewolf thingy. But still." He sighed again.
He nodded seriously. Family was the most important thing to him too. "I know how you feel. If anyone messes with my family, well, you know. They're gonna regret they did." Even though he was he youngest of the siblings, he did feel a responsibility to them, being a boy.
"I'm not very sure about the emotion thing with my siblings either." He frowned. "Though the full moon poses the same problem to all of us. Swax becomes mute, like Uncle Romulus, and Xelon becomes..." He used his paw to make a swirly motion absentmindedly. "Telepathic."

Bryn looked at Xanul silently for a long time. "I think it's kinda like an electrical circuit, if that makes any sense? When it's a full moon, your connection just switches from your heart to your other power. Mine's more like a short-circuit and only works part of the time. Or... something. That's how I think of it, anyway, 'cause it works for me." She shrugged.
She listened through the rest of what he said and grinned slightly. "I'm telepathic all the time. It's fun! And I... like Rommy. I think." Headtilt. "So, what else do you do? Do you know magic stuff like uncle Remus?" Tailwag. She liked to see the others do magic, it was awesome. Yup. Awesome.

"That seems rather...logical." He said slowly, processing this information in his brain. "If you don't think too much about it of course." He sighed, craning his neck backwards to stare up at the sky and the clouds floating by.
"I've never met Uncle Rommy. But Mom says he's nice." Xanul replied rather absentmindedly, staring at a cloud that was particularly shaped like a heart. "And yeah, I do some magic! Grandad and Mom taught me!"

Bryn nodded a bit and looked up with Xanul. "Kitsyn says my Bryna-logic doesn't always make sense but it still works... somehow." She grinned a bit at that.
She turned to look at Xanul after that. "I've only seen Rommy a couple of times, but yeah, he's nice. And he's got feathers." Nods as though that fact were all encompassing for how cool Romulus was. Then she wiggled. "Ooh can I see some magic?" She was like a kit sometimes, wanting to see the pretty fireworks, or magic, or whatnot.

"In one way or another." He replied with a smile.
"Yeah, Uncle Hemi's gots wings too! Mommy has them yeah, but they're small." A slight grin, but a bit unhappy as well. It was obvious Ayako disliked the fact that they were small, but it couldn't be helped after all.
"Mmm?" He blinked. "Well, what spell do you want to see?" He pulled out his willow wand, and after examining it for a while, he rubbed some of the dust off with his paw.

Bryn tilted her head thoughtfully. "I saw Ed Nii-chan freeze a teacup with his alchemy before... but I think the only thing I've seen the wizard-cousins do is apparate. So... I dunno, something spiff?" Tailwag. "Something you're good at?"

"Freeze? With alchemy?" His head tilted questioningly. Sure, he'd heard of Uncle Ed, but he had no idea what this alchemy was. "I'm not really good though." A sheepish grin. "And I don't like Apparating much...so...I'll just try a Patronus then." He concentrated on a happy memory, when he and his siblings were playing together. "Expecto Patronum!" A silvery golden spaniel leapt out of his wand and loped around them for a while before disappearing.

Bryna nodded agreeably. "Yeah, I've apparated a few times, I prefer teleporting. Or... well, I did try the shadow portal thing once, it was pretty smooth. Apparating makes my stomach churn." She glanced around suspiciously. "But don't tell anybody."
Her bright golden orbs lit up at the spaniel and she bounced, spinning, in place to follow it's motion before it disappeared. "That was friggin COOL." Her tails wagged enthusiastically. "All I really do is float and stuff... which is awesome. But you guys get to do all sorts of cool stuff. If I could be, I'd probably be jealous!" She grinned.

"Don't worry." The teen grinned in relief. "I don't like it much either. It makes my head spin. Portals are so much easier." He agreed.
"The stuff you do is cool too." Xanul bobbed his head up and down. He did sometimes wish that his dad had cool powers like Uncle Xigbar, but hey. He wasn't complaining. Even if he had inherited the berserker's moon powers. "Besides, magic takes loads of time to learn and master."

Bryn grinned back at Xanul. Well! Seems she'd made him feel better about... something. Not apparating? Well yeah, she could see why. Shadow portals worked a lot better, if you asked her. I mean if you sent other people through first you could take others along too... well. She'd heard about it, anyway. "Do you know if your portal will let you send other people through first? I've been told it can be done, but..." Shrug.
Bryn floated up a couple of feet off the ground and started doing a few lazy barrel rolls. Part habit, part showing off. "Yeah... I guess there is that, since I just... started doing this when I was born. Everybody says I was a real pawful." She made a friendly sort of smirk at that. Seems she was somewhat amused by the idea for whatever reason.

"Uh...I'm not sure." The teen started a little at this unexpected question. "I never really tried it, but maybe next time my family goes to visit daddy, we could, I guess?" Plus no one really explained to him about the portals. He had forgotten to ask Xianthe, Demyx or Larxene that.
"So you gave your parents trouble?" He grinned. " We kinda give daddy trouble, well to him at least. " What they were really doing was showing affection.

Bryna nodded. "Might should try it. Be a lot nicer way to get friends and family back and forth without all that yucky feeling apparating does. I think it's supposed to work, as long as you can hold the portal open and they go before you, 'cause I think the portal shuts after whoever opened it goes through. Though... I'm not really sure, I could probably ask Dad about it."
She put on her best innocent expression for the next bit. "Trouble? Me? What gave you the idea that I used to give them trouble?" Then she grinned. "I still cause trouble."
