Sol smiled gratefully at the mare before him and bowed his head to her. "My thanks Chandara, I think that my journeying will be far more pleasant in your company." Perhaps he could come to understand her a little better if they spent more time together; he hoped so for sure.
As these thoughts danced through his mind, a yawn tugged at his jaw and the tall stallion just barely repressed it; such a thing would be rude in the presence of a lady. "Forgive me," he said with a smile and a soft chuckle, "I have pushed myself hard this day and it is high time I took some rest... Perhaps in the morning we could set off?" He hoped that would be alright with her; in his exitement he hadn't noticed until now but he was weary almost to the point of just casting himself down and sleeping no matter how uncouth it might be.

Chandara smiled and gave a bow of her head as well "I thank you as well." she said and too did agree a journey was more interesting with a companion. Perhaps she would find out more about her knightly companion if they spent some time together on his journey.
The dark eyed mare gave a nod of understanding Rest was needed when one pushed themselves to hard. She could see he was weary and smiled "Indeed setting out in the morning would be best." She agreed rest was what he needed "You sleep." she smiled softly.

Sol smiled up at the blue mare as he settled himself down comfortably with his flank resting against a tree. “Good night then Chandara,” he said with a nod, allowing his weary dark eyes to slide closed. “Sleep well,” he added as he settled his tendril wings against his sides and sighed out a contented breath. It was good to know that, despite the passing of time, he still had a good friend in the elegant ocean maiden he had first seen so long ago now.
