Chui was starting to get comfortable around the leopardess, now that she wasn't mocking him every chance she got (and being who he was, he'd given her plenty of chances for that...which, for the most part, she took advantage of). The change was partly because she'd given him a bit of hope that he still had a chance to someday procreate, even though he was completely oblivious when it came to romancing and finding a mate and all that happy stuff. He offered a small smile after she commented on his so-called innocence. A thought had struck him though, and with a bit of a slier smirk he asked, "So is that what you think? Or are you just making a generalization?"
It was a curious type of comparison, at least to him, between leopards and lions. Then again, he hadn't met too many lionesses...or any, for that matter, to actually know what they're like first-hand. The motions she made while explaining their differences kept him quiet until she'd finished. It was something he still couldn't really understand, so he questioned her word no further.
So she went on to answer his last question, and it made him a smile a little. He wasn't sure why, but the thought of such an independent leopardess (not to mention very intimidating) to have, at one point or another, thought about actually settling down was comforting. Strange, yes, but he made no effort to hide the smile. "I guess it takes a while for some," he commented. Then with a chuckle, he continued, "You're only the second leopardess I've come across around here, so it'd probably take me ages to find the right one.."

Smirking, Kinge placed her head over her crossed arms, a brow arching as she allowed her gaze to hood, "Bit of both, I guess," the answer was rather cryptic in a way, however she seemed perfectly fine with that fact and content to leave it that. In fact, it was soon enough clear it was meant to remain cryptic, for she closed her eyes to him, and for the longest of moments, it was almost as if she'd fallen asleep right there and then, on his tree branch.
Which was rather ironic, given the fact she'd made such a fuss about having her own tree back, but then again, she was a born thief, and have no problem with the usage of other peoples' property. So long others left hers alone unless invited. Hypocritical much? Not like she cared though; Kinge couldn't have cared even for a second about other peoples' opinions of her... that much was clear by the way she spoke, bluntly at best, and rudely at worst, and the way she carried herself, usually above others.
"Takes a while for all of us; even those that refuse to admit it," a single eye peeked open then, glancing back at him before it drifted back shut. Her voice sounded lulled by sleep, the twitching of her tail having progressively grown languid; so much so it was like the smooth rhythm of the jungle around them, "It's a big jungle," she continued, never opening her eyes to him again, "There's lots hiding in here," a pause, "And out there. Just gotta know where to look, and how to call I guess," despite herself, a smirk tugged at her maw again, a deep chuckle resounding the silence about them, "Tried a Cat Call yet?" oh, she knew perfectly well where his thoughts had drifted towards, but then again, she couldn't blame him; hers drifted towards that particular sector every so often. It was only natural, "I'm glad I have a neighbour though," and she was surprised to note she was in fact, not lieing for once, "You're welcome to use my tree at any given time."
She left it at that, turning her head away from him, tucked slightly against herself; regardless of the situation, it seemed almost as if she'd fallen asleep, and even if this was true, or not particularly so... it was obvious that nothing short of an apocalypse was going to rouse her up or cause her to move away from that branch. Sleep sounded like a grand idea; she'd not slept next to someone... anyone in fact, for a very long time. Huh. She should do it more often. Waking up was bound to be a bloody riot, that was for sure.

Chui smiled at the thoughts that were floating around in his head after she, perhaps unintentionally, encouraged him a bit when it came to finding someone out there for him. It was funny to think that this same leopardess was the one that barraged him with so many insults just moments earlier, but by now he'd pushed the memory as far back as he allowed himself. It'd be a shame, after all, to forget how you first met a friend, albeit an unpleasant experience. He gave only a slight chuckle at the small joke she'd made, and his smile only broadened at her invitation.
"Thanks; and you, mine..but, I don't suppose you needed any sort of invitation." He smirked.
The leopard then moved to a nearby branch after she appeared to have fallen asleep, just so he wouldn't be in clawing distance in case she was....not so pleasant upon waking up. It'd be awkward, as well as dangerous, to be the one to try and convince her of all creatures that she'd fallen asleep beside him. With a smile and one last glance at Kinge, Chui lowered his head and took that nap that he put off for the length of the conversation.
