"Another faint attack, Ryou!" The trainer called, jumping up and down a bit. Ryou had to be quick, if ChuChu was using thundershock, but hopefully if the Umbreon was fast enough, he could avoid the attack and its stunning effects.
"Breon!" Ryou called as he heard Kazuki, jumping away from ChuChu and disappearing into thin air a second time. After a few moments he appeared below the Raichu, his eyes and rings glowing dark blue, and he leapt into the air to attempt his attack from below.

"ChuChu! Put all your will into it! Thunder wave!" Luna shouted. This was it. The climax. If ChuChu couldn't pull through, they had lost almost all hopes of winning the battle.
ChuChu focused, closing her eyes. She could feel the tension in the air as the battle came to a close. When she felt the Umbreon make contact, she flooded her body with electrical waves.

Ryou smirked as he made contact, sensing ChuChu's waning energy, but yelped as the shockwaves jolted through his body, rendering the Umbreon helpless. He collapsed onto the icy ground and slid a couple feet, trying and failing to move. He growled, eyes and rings glowing dark blue as he made another attempt, royally peeved that he had been stunned.
"Ryou!" Kazuki called out, slightly confused. The Umbreon seemed to be doing so well, what was wrong? It took him a few moments to realize ChuChu's thunderwave had worked. His hands balled into fists as he stood there, hoping the dark-type could emerge from the stunning attack quickly.

"Common ChuChU! We have to keep him down! Thunder wave, once more!"
ChuChu ran towards the immobolized Umbreon. Once in a fairly close distance, ChuChu charged her cheeks again, letting electricity swarm around herself and crawl towards Ryou.

Ryou could feel his limbs loosening finally, when another round of electricity shot through him. He gritted his teeth and growled, his ears pinned to his skull, and again tried, in vain, to move. He let out an irritated snarl, every ring on his body glowing brightly, though what color he didn't know or care. The only thing he knew was he couldn't move, and he was pissed.

"ChuChu! STUN HIM LONGER THIS TIME! WITH EMPHASIS! THUNDER WAAAAAAVE!"
ChuChu took a deep breath. She then let out about a fourth of her electricity supply, in hopes of stunning the Umbreon for an even longer period of time. Lord knows what would happen if they didn't manage to keep the pokemon under paralysis.

Snarling, the Umbreon managed to shake off the paralysis and jump into the air to avoid the third thunderwave, and disappeared into nothingness. After a few moments he appeared above ChuChu, his eyes and every ring glowing dark blue, a misty energy surrounding all four paws, as he drove downwards towards the Raichu with all the dark energy he could muster. Try to paralyze him again, hmm? He'd be damned before succumbing to such an annoying status condition again!
Kazuki jumped in surprise when Ryou disappeared, biting down on one finger in nervousness. This was it - if Ryou missed, he could be paralyzed again. And what if he was? For more than one turn? He would be at ChuChu's mercy, and he pitied any pokemon that ended up in such a situation. He held his breath, waiting to see if this was hit or miss.

ChuChu, already at her limits, fainted. "Well...that was a great first battle ChuChu!" Luna said, taking out her Raichu's pokeball and returning it. "Ryou's a pretty good battler...sorry about the paralysis, just trying out a new move." She laughed, "Ryou didn't seemed to enjoy it."
