haha.. last year most of the drumline graduated leaving ONE. so, this past season we had a drumline of 3: one snare and two bass drums [we recruited the bass drummers] we had 1 on toms in the pit, one mallet player a guitar, a keyboard, one on the bells/chimes.

wow, we are really small then. gonk we have 7 percussionists. only 4 can play well. Me and the other three have to switch off drums during the parades and games, while the other three stay on there bass drums. stare it works out pretty well though, the crowd always thinks we're the best because we are so freaking small mrgreen all we play are the Quads, bass and snare.

Well lets see my line this school year has: 4 bass drums 3 pit people 1 snare drum 1 set of tenors 1 crash cymbals
So that makes 10 people total in our drumline. But for our area, our line is huge. Most lines in our district have like 2 bass drums, 1 snare drum, 1 set of tenors, 1 crash cymbals, and 1 pit person.

My drumline this year consisted of 4 bass drums, 1 quad, 3 snare, and 4 pit (including me). 1 of the pit quit, several are graduating this year, and with the exception of one of the other pit members and one of the snare drums, they have got to be the biggest bunch of jackasses I have ever worked with.

For fall we usually have: 3 snares 4 basses 2 tenors 9 pit
and for winter we usually have: 3 snares 4 basses 2 tenors 9 pit
But we were top percussion section in the NW in the fall.... so size sometimes doesn't always matter

we have a band of 6. I double as a drummer/baritone player, but we technically have one drummer not counting me, two if you do.
We just bought a marching bass drum, and are working on getting a marching band.
Anyone beat 1-2?
