She listened to his words, almost wincing as his ears flattened. Was he angry with her. . . ? She wouldn't blame him - he surely didn't deserve to be compared with the red and white male that had blessed and plagued her life earlier. Still, hsi chuckle and adoring affections eased her stress and worries. The anxiety she felt over pregnancy, or the possibility of it, lost it's iron grip over her soul. . . .
He loved her. And he seemed quite receptive to the idea of a family. Hell, he had been the one to bring up such an idea! Blue eyes bright, the young female whined softly, reaching up to n** fondly at him. A wave of ardent love and need suddenly overwhelmed her, and she spoke not a word at his question. Not yet. she was too busy nuzzling and grooming him in her sudden, renewed joy and excitement.
He wanted a family - more than that he had asked how she felt. And though she had feared Occam's response, she knew within her heart that to raise a litter with Occam was the only thing that could make her even remotely happier than she was with him. It wasn't necessary, a family, should he have never wanted one. . . . But it was a blessing and a joy they both could share.
Someday.
"Oh I do, I do!" She breathed, breathless. Blue eyes burned with a fervent desire, capturing her own and making sure he saw that she was indeed interested in such a thing. Licking his muzzle, cuddling close, she licked at his ears and cheeks. "I just. . . . I just needed to know it was something you wanted. To have a family with you, to grow old and grey and decrepit with you as my mate that's. . that's all I could ever want. To have your love, Occam, I need nothing more. . . . But puppies," and the shy cream and violet wolfess couldn't help but laugh, almost giddy at the thought. "That would be just another blessing, another joy."

He let out a breath as the worries that had clenched around his heart loosened. She really wanted puppies with him! It made him want to soar, to bark and howl and jump around in joy. Instead, he took a slightly more sedate approach and nuzzled against the purple stained femme, pawing at her.
"Puppies," he murmured, in awe at the thought. He immediately started wondering what they would look like, how many they might have . . . Would they be all boys? Girls? Both?
Beyond happy and excitedly content, Occam laughed at the sheer joy of it all. "I love you," he said again, making sure that she would never doubt it.
He wiggled his eyebrows and one ear flicked backwards before he suddenly flopped onto his back. The broken hearted male stared back at her with heat and laughter in his eyes, his tail wagging sedately even though his heart was pounding with love and unending affection for his pretty mate.
" And I'm all yours, my love . . . "

For once in her life, Ravii was in bliss. Though her puppyhood had been rough, her youth harsh, and her adult life filled with unseen twists and turns, her spirit might have been bent but it had been far from broken. And though her soul had been battered and nicked and left with scars, just as Occam's had, she could finally look upon the dark furred wolf before her without fear.
He loved her, truly and deeply. He would not leave her to the whims of the world because of what the future might bring; he would not abandon her or any others that might come around. No, for once in her life she had someone to fall back upon should she stumble, she had someone to confide in, a friend, a partner, a lover, a mate. Though the road to him had been long, and for a while she had foolishly followed the wrong path, either way it lead her straight to him.
Through the worst of her times, and now through what she could only hope would be the best, the female had a companion and a partner. One who would be with her for the rest of her days, one she could love without reserve. It felt good. . .
No, it felt great and eyes eyes glowed with a violent affection for the male before her. "Occam," she breathed, tail wagging swiftly behind her. Nothing else mattered now, except him, and with a happy laugh she pounced, half-tackling him and lavishing him with licks and kisses. Her affection ran deep and she wanted to show him just how loved he truly was, just how much she needed him.
"You have my heart, forever," she whispered fondly, her heart beating in excitement and bliss. "I love you, Occam my sweet - forever and for always."
