Hanta watched as the apples were rolled her way. Each one beautiful, shining and very appetizing. Her wings fluttered as she reached for one, but paused to look up at Ronan. She smiled weakly, but the smile was very sincere. It had been the first time she had smiled since before Sheik left. "Thank you." She spoke quietly to him as she scooted the apple close to her and begun begun to nibble. It was good.
Her wings fluttered as she continued to nibble on the apple. They released that beautiful sparkling powder in small amounts. Her ears perked forward as her eyes closed. This was the first time in a long time he had also been able to relax.

"Don't mention it." The kitsu shook his head and simply rubbed at an ear. As the other ate, Ronan took the time to think. So the other had lost contact with her love and daughter? But how long ago had that been, judging by her physical reaction? Tails shifted and curled around his paws. If he asked, he could know what the others looked like, and keep an eye open for them. But...
He peeked over to the butterfly, content that she was still eating. Best not mention it so soon after Hanta getting calm. He'd wait and see when he could bring it up, lest he forgot. Head tilted as more of the wing powder glittered in the air. Was that a good thing for butterfly's? "Enjoying the meal?"

For a normal butterfly the loss of that powder would have been a very bad thing, and it wouldn't have sparkled so. But this was no ordinary butterfly and the powder usually fell off when she fluttered about. Hanta never looked into the anatomy of her wings and why they did what they did. Some things in life she proffered to just let them do what they were meant to do.
Hanta looked up from her meal, sapphire eyes glazed over again. Not in sadness, but appreciation for what this 'stranger' was doing for her. It made her feel slightly bad for being so seclusive for the past few months. She nodded at his question. "It's been a while since I have eaten one of these." She again smiled weakly at Ronan. This one looked a little better than the last one.

Hanta is just too cute. X3
Ronan couldn't hold it back anymore. He sneezed. Of course his paws flew up to cover the action, and he flashed an apologetic grin. "Sorry about that." The male rubbed his muzzle from any glitter left on. Once done, Ronan shook his pelt of whatever glitter may cling there. No need to have his friends pointing out such a feminine fashion on him. xD
Ears flicked, almost startled to her words. But she ended it with "one of these", much better than what he thought of not at all eating. "It's a nice touch to any diet." He himself prefered a meaty diet. His head bowed down in serious thought. "Especially with winter coming near." Could this girl pull through for it?

Hanta is a soft nugget. X3 Ronan is a silly little turkey himself, such a sweetie. True, she hadn't completely given up her diet, but she didn't consume much. Mainly just honeysuckles or grass. She didn't have much interest in hunting or looking for anything as a result of her great grief.
At the sneeze she flinched and got to her feet as fast as she could, wobbling a bit. She leaned forward. Her head cocked to the side, ears perked forward and antenna slightly raised higher than they were. Concern covered her face like the dust had covered his paw a minute ago. "A-are you okay?" The concern was highly noticeable in her soft and quiet voice. It was nature to act as such, just as it was to breath for her.

just don't tell him that. xD
Honeysuckles or grass? That wasn't nearly enough for a kitsusagi though. Hopefully consuming apples would be an urge seek out more foods. And with winter coming, it'd be narrowed down to foods in headquarters. Along with all the socializing down there. Eh.
Her flinch made him jolt, brow lifting to see what was so scary. Was something coming? The male glanced to the other, surprised to see her peering at him all worried. "Oh, did I scare ya?" He waved his paw to show it was of no concern. "I'm fine, a sneeze won't be the end of me." He chuckled at the thought. Ears fell forward curiously, attention to the antenna. "Hmm, so you are a butterfly kitsu. Heard of them, never seen one before." It was a nice change from the common sight of normals and angelics.

Mr. tough... XD! She sat back down feeling a bit silly about getting over concerned about a little sneeze. She had to mentally add the 'bless you' in hopes he would be blessed enough not to get sick. Her ears flopped back again. "I have yet to see anymore like me... Even before." She cut her self off from mentioning her loss. "I know they are out there, but we must not be a common sight." Her tails curled around her legs as she paused. "Even so, that doesn't make us any more special than anyone else on this gaia."
Hanta had a great respect for every species of Kitsu and held no other type greater than the other. They were all special at what they were meant to do, and she was happy to see so many kinds.

was how he was brought up. 8P
Ugh. That was true, considering now was the time for colds. White eyes pulled away from the antenna to blink at Hanta's face. So butterflies were a rare sight, to the point that one of them hadn't seen another. The male allowed a crooked smile. "Hmm, I suppose that is true. There's too much character to call anyone special, really." Wings or not, fins or not, everyone held their own place. That was something he had learned to respect.
His own poofy tails flicked behind him before sweeping lightly at the ground. "So, Hanta, what will you do now?" It was an open enough question. With endless answers, what would she option to say? "I hoped that meal was of help."

Hanta looked back over the way she come before looking back to Ronan.
"I will head back to the lake... " She honestly couldn't think of anything else to do. "The meal was a help as was your kindness. Thank you Ronan." She bowed her head respectfully at him.

The poofy kitsu nodded to her reply, a smirk on his maw. "So long as you kep your chin up, eh?" He lifted from his relaxed stance, blue paws flexing for activity. Her bow was responded with his own. "I'll be roaming wherever should you need anything. Would you prefer if I kept an eye open?" He decided to hold back any detailed words so as not to upset her. His question was simple and to the point. It was up to her if she'd want to enlighten him with details, or let it be. It was the best he could do.

Hanta knew who he was talking about instantly. She nodded. "Please."
She looked a the ground before returning her focus on him. "Sheik has peach fur with a long blond mane. He usually has cloth wrapped around his face and wears purple and blue clothing.. with what looks to be a red eye in the center." She paused to let that description settle before continuing. "Ami is an angel with a crimson halo. Her flesh is sewn together and rotting, her pelt is white, but stained especially in the sewn spots."
Her daughter, which she found out a while ago, was among the undead... it didn't bother her, but she often worried others would harm her or look down on her because of this. Hanta was protective of her little girl.

A respectful nod was given. "Of course. These white eyes will keep alert." The kitsu smirked and flicked his tails, not at all bothered by the description. It was all pretty much seen before, in all it's wierd and unique forms.
One brow rose as the male dared to pad nearer, tilting his head to Hanta. "You sure you'll be alright now? I'd hate to part unaware if you need more assistance." Or worse if she lied and pretended that all was well.

Hanta smiled as best she could. She didn't move back, but instead remained where she was. "I will be fine." She nodded. "Thank you" Just by looking at him she vowed to herself that she wouldn't slip again. That she would take better care of herself. It would be hard to fill the hole in her heart that Sheik left, and her full shine probably wouldn't return until he did. She could at least not look so mangled.
"I would enjoy your company if you would like to follow. I don't want to hold you from anything though."

A nice response. And Ronan was glad to see some spark of life back to her eyes. Might not be much, but enough to give anyone a drive of hope. Ears perked in surprise. And here he had assumed the butterfly would want to dart back to time for herself. Smirking, Ronan nodded his head. "Heh, if you don't mind, then why not." He shrugged his striped shoulders. "Don't have much else to do myself." Plus he'd enjoy his last moments of freedom before being expected to babysit. Sigh. "So, the lake you said?"

Hanta got to her feet and turned toward the lake. She would wait for Ronan to follow before she would move. Her tails swayed calmly from side to side.
"Yes, it was the-" She paused, it would be better to not hold anything back. Pain was good as it told you you had a problem. And in knowing the problem it could be fixed. "-the first place Sheik and I went to together. It was the first time I had seen so much water." Her wings twitched. "It was also where we found our daughter. She was so small, just a newly hatched pup. "
That had to be the best day of her life. Her eyes teared a little, but the smile remained on her face. It was so much better to have someone to talk to. "So, what is your story? If you do not mind telling me."
She figured that it may be personal and he may not want to share, either way she was interested in listening to anything he would have to say.
