"It is...sometimes," she agreed, unable to stay completely optamistic. She had seen a lot of hardship in her life; mortals in all sorts of situations you would not wish upon your worst ememy. But she had also seen a lot of good as well. She had always been more of a realistic, because of her domain; but when in the company of one such as Bambi she was reluctant to sound so cynical. Because she could not deny the wonderful things that went along with the horrible ones.

Perhaps what made Bambi so happy-go-lucky but at the same time wrapped up in her own enjoyment was that maybe in the back of her mind, she knew that every day really was a new one and she never needed to be sad about anything. Perhaps that was why, that fact that should she see something so horrible, come tomorrow such a memory would be no more. But on a far more conscious level, she did not. She lived in the moment as much as she could manage.
"I'll bet," she replied despite the unspoken but suggested factor in the other's speech that life was not all sugar and sweets.

Sheba found she didn't know what else to say. And right now she felt a little alienated...it was her own fault, she knew, but that didn't make it easier. What else could she say? Was she really good company at all right now, if at all? She didn't think so. Clearing her throat with embaressment she murmured, "I should be off. It was very nice meeting you, Miss Bambadege." And with a nod of her head in a polite bow she headed off, her mind muddled and heavy with thought.
