Musketeer watched her eyes with open interest, it was fascinating to see the way her fur and silver eyes combined to create such a mezmerizing swirling void. He wanted to get closer, but he figured she wouldn't appreciate being nose to nose with him.
As she turned to run off he grinned and leapt to follow her keeping pace with her and enjoying the challenge she provided.
"I owe you my help! I shall follow you to the ends of Telk until my debt is repayed!" He grinned, this she wolf may very well lead him to the ends of Telk.

--- At his call she shivered involuntarily. That was what she least wanted. But what she couldn't understand was his motive. There was none! It was as though he simply liked following her like a lock-sick hound for the mere fun of it! Why? When one could be doing something at least slightly productive, hunting or patrolling or even sleeping! Strange, stupid, ignorent, gorgeous wolf... the femme thought to herself, ears flicking backwards. Wait, gorgeous? Where on earth did that come from? Certainly not herself, she despised the shimmering silver-pelted male! Yet, she still let herself be chased without end.
--- Hunted like some mere animal! Just for the sport of it! How demeaning! She growled openly, eyes ticking back momentarily to watch the progress of her pursuer as she sped through the seemingly endless wood. She slipped side-ways through a bush, the movement causing a small shower of water to fly from it's leaves. Snorting she shook her head free of the droplets, paws flying.

As she sped up so in turn did he ever so happy to be on the merry chase. He laughed and leapt over the bush playfully nipping at her tail as he got close enough before falling back a pace. He sped up to show her he wasn't gone and slowed down when he got too close.
"Don't trip and hurt yourself sweet-Necrala or my debt would be twice as large!" He chuckled and moved to run alongside her.
This female was splendid company, a challenge that he wanted to face. He wondered if his pack would mind if he was gone for a while. While he loved his new land and apprciated his larger family he felt a true thrill of pleasure and excitment in talking to Necrala. He had even gotten used to her name in his mind and her coat, bu most of all he liked her eyes.
He wondered if he could convince her to chase HIM and follow him home, so he could spend his days and nights gazing into those eyes. He held back a laugh at the notion, while he could charm a female, never had he intended nor wanted to spend all his days tied to one. Perhaps this one was different? No, no that way laid the type of madness his Alpha was showing, he had no claim on Necrala, but he would enjoy this day with her.

--- The tail dipped immediately when he took a teasing snap at it, nearly tucking if it wasn't for the self-control of it's owner. She was almost amazed at his great leap, no, not amazed, she refused to be amazed at anyone who chased her, whether it be with or without good purpose. She was merely....mindful of it, realizing that with that kind of strength the wolf wouldn't be easy to lose.
--- "When your 'debt' is done your legs will be worn to knubs and I will feed you to the birds!" She stated morbidly, with full seriousness in her tone. Driven by her own persistence as well as his the femme might very well run his paws to knubs, as well as her own.
--- Leaping over a felled log in the forest she reached a tighter patch of trees, some groups of poplars only just large enough to slip past, all arranged in a sort of maze that slowed down her progress.

Musketeer chuckled and ran happily alongside her, he moved to brush them together side to side. Pity she didn't know that he had spent his whole life protecting his brother, which often meant hauling him out of rivers too deep. More often it meant running for their lives from something they had been too cocky to take on. He could run at a steady pace for about three days. This on and off pace she was putting him through though that was a different story. He could follow beside her for about a day before he would need to stop for water and then pick up her trail to follow her again. That was assuming this she wolf was deterined enough to follow through with her threat.
"What kind of birds? I'm not overly fond of crows you know...Will you be there beside me while I die? It might be worth it..." He smirked at her before slowing his pace to go behind her through the maze of trees.
"Ladies first..." He wove around the trees with care getting close enough to brush her tail a few more times much to his delight.

--- She, unfortunately, hadn't spent her whole life running, and thus was mostly unprepared for racing around like this for however long it took for one to wear another's feet off. But she would run as long as she could, most likely longer, to get rid of this pest. Did he not realize that all she wanted was her peace?
--- Obviously not, by the way he was sickly enjoying himself. "Whatever birds dare to eat your lowly remains..." she growled, trying to hide the soft pant that was beginning to come.
--- Necrala let out a warning growl each time he touched her, tail ducking and ears pinning back. She led a darting, zig-zagging and confusing path through the trees, hoping to get him stuck in between the closely-spread poplars.

He followed with persistance and once they cleared the trees he moved back alongside her. He eyed her and smirked softly.
"So where are we headed? We could always walk back to your clearing if your tired you know..." Musketeer wasn't having any issues running at her pace and chatting it up. Her scent kept him even more pumped up then usual and he brushed closer to her gleefully.
He didn't want her to tire out and fall or anything though, but how could he get the stubborn female to stop for some water or slow down and relax. He frowned as he suddenly felt a small pain in his side, apparently he had cut himself on a sharp branch of the poplar trees. He pushed the pain away and focused on the female beside him instead.

--- "I'm fine..." The femme snorted stubbornly, taking to breathing through her nose to keep her panting tongue from view, jaw set firm in almost a pouting look. The femme kept up her running gate, determined to get rid of this bum. Necrala pushed herself, picking up the pace and rushing ahead to lose the male. But unfortunately, here the forest was dry, much more so than her field and the surrounding areas, and each thing she brushed against carried her scent like a flag.

Musketeer followed her easily, his pace steady to keep himself from becoming as exahusted as he sensed she was. He was amused by her persistance and moved to get infornt of her hoping to stop her.
"Please don't be upset sweet Necrala. I promise to leave you be, if you'll promise to call on me if you ever need help?" He tilted his head hoping she would take his offer, he would have to figure out some way to come across her path again.

--- Feet planted firmly into the ground as Musketeer came around and stood in front of her. Eyes widened and eyebrows arched in a mixed expression of surprise, confusion and aggravation. What did he want now? This running was growing tedious, and her patience for such was shot.
--- His comment surprised her. Finally he was going to leave her? Thank Telk! That's what she wanted in the first place! "Of course!" She barked, unable to hide the smirk of redeemed satisfaction upon her diseased maw. Her fluffy tassel gave a short flick as the femme nodded, though barely took it seriously. Necrala would never need help from anyone, especially him.

He smirked and shook his head, inside Musketeer felt a bit disapointed by her quick rejection of him. Perhaps he had lost his charm after all, that was what happened when one failed to practice he supposed. But Necrala hadn't been practice, he had just been lonely and finally found some clever company. He hid his thoughts with a soft chuckle.
"Don't sound so happy sweet Necrala...you promise you'll call on me if you need any help? You must promise." He waited for her response hopefully.

--- Already turned around and ready to return to her meadow for some peace and quiet, his hopeful words caught her ears. Necrala stopped and turned, keeping back the malicious laughter that was welling in her throat. Oh, that was just too pitiful! The wolf that chased her through the woods actually took her seriously? She'd rather eat dirt than call on him again. Without taking his suggestion to heart, the she-wolf turned around, looking as solemn as she could, and nodded.
--- "I promise." The cadaver-esque femme said, looking Musketeer straight in the eyes.

Musketeer grinned happily his tail wavering to and fro in delight, perhaps she did like him a bit after all! He couldn't wait to see her again, though he hoped no serious trouble found her.
"Until then sweet Necrala, don't get into TOO much trouble..." he turned and headed back to his packs lands feeling rather successful in his venture.

--- He responded to her lie like a pup presented with promises of sweet-meats! How hard it was to keeping from busting a gut from laughter! He actually believed her! What a laugh that was. And once again with that name of his, 'sweet Necrala'. She was in no way sweet! The wolf was harder in the head than she had believed before!
--- Watching the silver male leave, like-wise the oddly-furred small wolf started off quickly in the opposite direction, with a hope in her heart that she'd never have to put up with that again.
