Irene stopped, and she looked angry. "So, it's you." Eevee laughed. "I figured I'd find you here. You always were soft for nature. But you forget, you still haven't paid for what you've done." Irene clenched her fists. "Give it a rest Eevee, I'm not going home!" Eevee sighed. "And here I thought you'd come quietly. Oh well..." Eevee took out her katana and charged for Irene, which Irene blocked. But Eevee managed a punch in Irene's face. Irene fell to the ground. She looked up at Eevee. "Time to go." Eevee said.

Typhoon, puzzled by the sudden fight and not having heard the conversation, flew down to find out more. She wasn't sure if Irene was in trouble, but it sure looked like it. Typhoon quietly watched the newcomer stand over Irene. Slowly, ever so quietly, Typhoon hovered a ways behind Eevee, still high in the air- about seventy five feet up. She desprately hoped she was doing the right thing by waiting to see if Irene would give a sign that she needed help.

"I'm not going anywhere Eevee, this is my home. I've already been exiled, I don't want to get killed too. Especially by your hand." Irene gave a bitter expression to Eevee. Eevee Pulled her katana back and lunged it in Irene's direction, but some vines caught on her arm as Irene got to her feet. "It's going to take more than just you to get me, you know that." Eevee laghed. "Indeed I do."
From the bushes and trees came ten other people. They surrounded the area. Irene looked like she was in big trouble, but didn't look up to se Typhoon. They all attacked her at once. She got them back one by one, but she was outnumbered and soon grabbed by Eevee. "Help, someone!" She called, though she was sure no one could hear.

That was all Typhoon needed. Letting out a dragon's battlecry, she let forth a water spout under her control. The quickly-moving tornado of water sped towards one of the ten, while Typhoon herself raced just ahead of it. Mentally Typhoon directed it to target the nine others one by one after hitting the first. Typhoon, foot long claws extended, sharpened fangs bared, hurtled towards Eevee, ready to give her the usually fatal wounds only a dragon could give.

Eevee's attention was turned to the dragon as she directed her katana to both attack and defend the blows. The other ten were flown in different directions, which as soon as they hit ground or shrubbery, were binded down by the nature. They now could not move. Not wanting to get in the way, Irene backed up as Typhoon charged at Eevee. "Watch out, that katana is dangerous!" Irene warned. It was not an ordinary katana, the katana in Eevee's hands had many abilities that included fire.

The dragon's eyes slid in Irene's direction for a quick moment. Now she had the opening she needed. Typhoon feinted an attack to Eevee's left side, then to her right quickly, while letting out a roar. A blast of water shot out of her mouth, straight at Eevee. There was virtually no way she could miss, unless Eevee had superspeed or something similar. The blast was nearly as tall as it was wide, and it was nearly as tall as Eevee herself.

Eevee became a blur, but looked scared as she looked at Typhoon. She managed to dodge, but retreated. Irene smiled when the coast was clear. "Thanks."

Typhoon roared in victory, as any dragon would do. She settled onto the ground and folded her wings back. She arched her neck, and her mouth curved into a toothy dragon's grin. She merely nodded. "Want a ride back to your, ah, home?" she offered.

Irene nodded. "If it's not too much trouble. It's not far from here anyway." She would have walked, but her power costed her energy. She was worn out. "I live near the biggest tree in the forest. I call it the enchanted Redwood."

"Get on then," Typhoon replied, crouching and lowering her wings to the ground. "Just point out the general direction and you'll be back in no time."

Irene smiled and got on. She pointed right. "It's over there." Irene felt bad about getting her in the mess with Eevee. "Sorry about what just happened."

Typhoon took off, soaring into the sky, then began to head in the direction Irene had pointed to. "It's nothing. Don't worry about it, ok? It's a dragon's favorite thing to do....sometimes, anyway. Dragons love to fight, at least where I come from. It's also a dragon's instinct to protect their home, friends, and family. So don't worry about it," Typhoon said, skimming the treetops so that they brushed her claws.

"Still, I don't think that's the last we'll see of her. Luckily for me, she has a fear of dragons. If it was someone like Delilah, we wouldn't have gotten off as easily." Irene sighed. "I only hope that this forest will stay out of harm's way."

Typhoon sighed, her eyes filled with flames. "I doubt it, with this war starting," she growled darkly. "There's very little chance the forest won't be attacked....especially with those coming in." Typhoon spat the words, sounding angry and even a little frightened. She lifted her snout to point at a couple of large, dark shapes flying towards the dark regions. Dragons. The dragons she used to live with. Suddenly one of the dragons stopped in midair, hovering. "Hang on," Typhoon growled, and ducked into the trees, lifting her wings up to stop most of the branches from hitting Irene and her own scales. Up ahead, the dragon circled and scented the air. It finally shrugged and the pair flew off. Luckily, Typhoon had been nearly at the redwood when she had to dive out of their sight, so Irene was practically at her home. "Sorry about that. I fear they may be told to keep a lookout for me, and kill me and anyone who sides with me," Typhoon said, sounding a little more frightened as she landed, her wings scuffed up a bit. She knew she was being hunted, because that was what her Clan did to outcasts. They hunted them, found them, and killed them.

Irene sighed. "That makes both of us. But I don't care about this war, so long as I can keep this forest safe." Irene stated walking to the redwood. It was huge and hovered over everthing else. There were rosebushes nearby, that lined around a clearing. The tree in the very middle of the clearing. Irene knocked on the trunk, and a hidden hole underground opened. Inside the hole was a flickering light. "You can come if you want." Irene said as she started going down stairs down the hole.
