Perrian I wonder, knocking did not work and we don't see any sighs of use , soooo why don't we try pushing a button or several buttons just to see what happens.

*Djanni shakes her head, grimacing at the slight headache that produces; blast that hangover! The Fire rears its ugly head within her, but even it is no match for the slowly building migraine.* No, Tobar. It could be magicked - punching random sequences of code could be potentially life threatening. I suggest a moment of further investigation
*Djanni begins to slowly go over the doorframe with her fingers.*
(sorry I'm late, guys! Had to go pick out carpet...)

"I agree with Djanni, we can't just pick random buttons. If we pick the wrong buttons we could break this device and not get in, or this building could explode, or worse effects could happen." Perrian was silent in thought for a little time "Possibly... there is another entrance that is opened on another side of this building?"

*Djanni nods and the movement is accompanied by a fresh wave of nausea. Will she never be free of her dependence on Crystal Whiskey?*
That is a good idea, Perrian. I propose we split into pairs and check the perimeter."

"Djanni, I agree, we could cover more ground if we split up, but if we split up and run into an enemy we'll be at a disadvantage because we'll be seperated. I still think we could probably handle ourselves well enough if we were seperated, all of us seem strong enough, hopefully. How should we split up ourselves? Any ideas?"

*Djanni thinks for a moment*
"We appear to have one exceptionally strong, two moderate, and one physically weak team members. I propose that the strongest of us be paired with the physically weakest to provide them some cover, and that the two moderates be together. In a word: Perrian, you are with me. Tobar, please provide physical interferance for Veet."
((edit: Please note that by "physical interferance", I mean for Tobar to be Veet's smashing arms. Veet has ridiculous, freaky-good defense and hit points; I was merely looking to balance that.))

"I agree Djanni. Tobar, Veet, you two will explore that side of the perimeter." Perrian points west. "We'll explore the other side. That sound good to everyone?"

*Djanni nods and loosens her twin daggers in their sheaths; a quick tug and she will be ready for any sort of violence. The Fire uncoils ever-so-slightly within her, and faint wisps of smoke-like shadow trail from her hair. More devastating than any dagger, her Shadow Scythe will be ready at her command. Muttering a soothing mantra beneath her breath, she keeps the Fire at bay but ready for battle.*

Perrian saw what Djanni was doing and decided to prepare for any sort of ambush or battle, but then he realized that it didn't take too long to charge his fireball so he did nothing to get ready in case they encountered an enemy. "Good luck Tobar and Veet." Perrian calls out to them and then looks out to the east. "Lets start walking." Perrian said and started walking with his staff at his side, ready to send a fireball out at an instant.
(g2g, I have to go to bed. Sorry.)

“Now listen hear missy, just because I’m no expert at attacking doesn’t mean I’m not plenty strong. I’d like to see you take a punch at me and see what your fist thinks of my strength, after it breaks upon it. Tobar should go with you one of you squishes so at least both the groups should have some defense. Ah never mind lets go Tobar.” Veet tramps off in the other direction. She didn’t feel like arguing. It wouldn’t make her feel any better and pissing off her teammates wouldn’t help either. She wished she had packed some booze; she could do with that warm fuzzy feeling right about now.
