He laughed, it was amusing to heard her saying silly to the stars.
"Of course we grow up, and like this we can keep our promise to protect each others." He looked at her horn "Do you already use it ?" he thought it might really hurt if she hit someone with her horn. The idea of the light in the dark amused him much in fact;
"So can we start walling to see an other place ? And i will wish for a star to fall too."
He winked and started walking moving his wings softly arround his boby. He was really quiet, like the night, an abit he took because of his father.

Walking? She blinked realizing she had melted into his coat for quite awhile. Cassi loved anything that was light and shining like the stars up above. Blushing again she laughed like a soft bell, "Oh yes we should. Err well where would you like to go?" she asked with a silly soft expression mirrored by the light her horn was using.
As she walked along she thought about her horn and how she did things, "Use it? Well I have never been in a fight. I don't think Mama would let me get into something that I could get hurt in." She laughed at that one for she did remember the kalona that almost carried off her brother.
"Say Themis? Would you have a wish if you did see a star fall?" she mused what her own would be, but it was a secret of course. Wishes were never to be spoken aloud because the star would hear you then it was too late to come true.

Thémis thought of a good place and then he remembered the place his mother met his father, she always said it was beautiful to look at the stars.
"I know a magic place, it's my father who showed it to my mother. I will try to bring you there too."
He felt releived when he heard she never fight, actually he didn't want too. "It's good you never fight, i never too, i'm not a coward but i don't want to fight for nothing."
A wish, really what can he wished for. "My wish is to realise yours." he smiled. "It's what will make me really happy."

Cassiopeia perked her ears to his words nodding with anticipation. The stars were playing a game it seemed with her, but Themis could go past the silly stars and find their place where shiny lights from the sky fell to the ground below.
"Oh I'd love that Themis.... You lead and I'll follow" she noted dipping her horn as she giggled with light sparkling around them. Now they'd find that special star that made them make a promise when foals roamed in their stride.
She smiled and turned toward the horizon checking to see when the sun was preparing to rise. Still the light from beneath the land was sleeping as the moon hung within the velvet black sky above them.
"You're not a coward Themis, You don't have to fight to prove a point. I don't think I'd want to, but if need be I would. Sounds like mom when I was younger."
She giggled and looked at him with curious eyes as they began walking beside each other, "Realize my dream?" blinking she stopped to look at him a moment curious to what he was thinking.

Thémis started to walk leading. The place he would lead her to was a spot on the river, close by where the river poured into the ocean. On the beach, actually. The sky would be clear, and even in the dark you felt like you could see for miles over the wayer, with the way the stars lit the sky.
He heard her stopping after a moment. He turned his head towards her. " Yes we are friend, i don't really have wish so i will try my best to help you realise yours."

Cassi looked upward admiring all the stars that twinkled high above them. Like her mother she wanted to fly envious of her brother Gemini. Though Themis had said it was impossible to capture a star in the sky. But Cassi believed deep in her heart, if you were worthy than a star would fall just for you. Not a selfish wish, but something that you truly wanted. Closing her eyes she envisioned the shining star before following the handsome stallion.
She followed after him with long swishes of her tail. "Then Themis that will make me most happy. As long as you're here my wish will come true." Smiling her horn flickered lightly as if her laugh was calm and settled. Looking upward she wondered what this place was like they were headed to. The sky looked so pretty, and even though night was around them, as light as his coat was the whole world was lit like a shining candle.

Themis was looking the sky, not for the beauty this time but to find the right way. His father explained him that he needed to follow a specific star to find his secret place. He took a look behind sometimes to be sure Cassi still followed him.
"I will need to stay with you till your wish come true then" he said with a winked. "You sure you will support me all that time ?"
He turned a little in an other direction, walking slowly to not rush the moment before they would arrived. And then after 5 or 10 min they finally were in front of the spot his father spoke about.
"Welcome to the secret place Cassi" he didn't paid attention he used a surname, because the place was really beautiful.

Cassi beamed and nodded to him admiring this place they were leading to. A secret place held so much wonder and intrigue she agreed with open curiousity. Imagine her, Cassiopeia, being shown something so secret that his father had whispered to him. The thought made her smile with a flicker of light that bounced and played around her shining eyes.
When they reached the spot hidden to others she couldn't help but sigh at how beautiful the surroundings were. So many lights that shimmered high above them both, clear and forever trailing they placed themselves.
Now if one truly did fall would she be able to speak her wish aloud to a dear friend, when it was something so special even she herself couldn't say the mare wondered.
"Perhaps... now we'll know Themis. A star just has to fall from the sky in this magical place. Then you and I can realize that wish that I have hidden so far away." Closing her eyes she took a deep breath and whispered, "Starlight. Starlight. Please grant my wish I dream about this night...."

The stallion come closer to her and put a wings on his back, to warm her and to be close, like if he was closed to her mind.
He wished a star will fall too, he wanted to see Cassi beatiful eyes full of happiness.
With a clear voice, his mind dreaming about the same things as the mare on his side he said the magic words too.
"Starlight. Starlight. Please grant her wish she dream about this night..."
Then he looked at the sky and at the water, waiting for a miracle to happen.

Cassi breathed one last time before lifting her head to the sky as Themis kept her warm standing there so close. She couldn't help but blush a little in spite of herself right at that moment. Now she watched and waited for that single star. It just had to fall now in this special place. Any moment now...soon right?
Blinking she watched intently.
"Alright. Now you can fall. We're here now?" she blinked with her horn flickering off and on.
But when it didn't fall she frowned letting her horn flicker out slowly. Was she not special enough like her siblings and parents Cassi wondered. Where was the star she'd always heard would fall? She started feeling sad all of a sudden as if ready to cry. If the star never fell.... she'd never get her wish. No! It just had to fall she was sure it would.

Thémis was looking at Cassi when he saw she started to be a little down, her horn shine started to disapear. She seemed like she would cry. He panicked a little, what he could do if she cried ? He never saw anyone crying. He calm down, trying to remember what his mother told him. But there nothing about tears coming in his mind.
"Don't be sad Cassiopeia, i'm sure one will fall, we will stay here as long as it's necessary. I'm with you"
he nuzzled her gently to cheer her up. He wanted her to be happy, not sad. He once again wished deeply for a star to fall from the sky

Cassiopeia dared not look at the sky for a moment fearing that her dreams, her hopes, were nothing but childish lore parents strung for their children to coo them into sleep. Did stars really fall from the sky anyway? Such doubt filling her heart and mind that the laughter, the happiness she was born with was fading away.
But something inside her flickered like a tiny flame, a soft whisper that radiated over the mare like laughter. Raising her head she looked upward at the horizon noticing something falling like a shining diamond toward the Earth. Like a beaconing gemstone it descended and faded into the night. For it was true that on special nights that stars listened and fell for those that wished it most. Though she couldn't catch something so heavenly, she knew that her wish would come true since the star fell.
Beaming the light from her horn exploded into a full array as it danced over Themis. She knew what her wish would be finally and that was all that mattered.

The young stallion didn't looked the sky, he was too preocupated by the young mare beside him. He hated the fact he couldn't be more helpful.
He didn't saw what happened in the sky at that moment, he only looked at Cassiopeia. Then he saw the light from her horn exploding. What happen ? He looked at the sky, but it was too late of course.
"Did something happen ? Do you fell better ?" So many questions were coming in his mind. Did he missed something important ?

Cassiopeia beamed quite happily for sure now her wish would be answered. Though Themis didn't look like he saw it the way his expression was quite puzzled and a bit confused. She wondered if that would deploy her wish for a moment though that was rather silly indeed.
"It fell well for a moment, like a diamond from the dark sky. So beautiful..." she murmured letting her smile stick with her as did her inner light. She knew what her wish was finally and Themis helped her to realize it.
"I know what my wish is Themis.... something I've dreamed of since I saw mama return with daddy..." She paused in mid sentence and blushed. How could she tell him something so secret that not even her brothers knew. Now she was nervous as her hooves shifted uneasily.

Diamond ? What did she meant, but apparently a star fall from the sky, it was enough for him.
"If your wish can be realised i'm really happy for you then". He smiled at her, she was really better when smilling than when she almost cried.
She listenned to her, it looked like she had difficulties to tell him something.
"If you can't tell it's ok, it's your secret, i understand if you want to keep it for you". He said it but actually he really wanted to know her wish.
