Nibal tensed up as the teacher's voice came out of the darkness. Five minutes? Could he finish it in five minutes? The boy followed the next pylon, trying to move a bit faster than he was previously without making another noise. He was fairly sure that the teacher must not have heard that last one, but he didn't want to be too careless.

The boy found the next pylon, though it came before he thought it would. This time, he started mentally counting his steps. Maybe then he'd be able to find the next one quicker if he knew when to expect it.

How was one suppose to be timing in the pitch dark one may ask? Kuyoja had done this many times before and thusly knew in estimation the length of time needed. Nibal was down to two minutes and was doing fairly well.

He hoped the child would be able to understand the importance of this task, you had to learn the basics before moving onto the move advanced skills.

"You have two minutes left." He called out into the dark, his hand stil resting lightly on the light switch pannel just in case something happened.

Nibal jumped as the teacher's voice broke the silence that had been pressing around him. Luckily, all it caused him to do was lose his count as he made his way around the third pylon. Careful not to sigh in frustration, the frog boy just slowed down some to figure out where the next one was and was relieved to feel the smooth texture brush against his fingertips only a few more steps onward.

Closing his eyes he counted down the last thirty seconds under his breath before he then filcked the light back on. Nibal had gotten pretty far, and relatively silently as well. A very good first attempt.

"I am impressed." He said though his tone didn't seem to mimic his words, he then moved away from the wall waving his young student over. He looked up at the rock wall wondering if he was ready for this part. But his student had natural abilities that would help him with this task.

"Do you feel that you will need saftey equipment for this task?" He asked looking down at the brightly colored frog boy.

Nibal grinned at the compliment and jogged over to the man. This was the part he was excited about. Getting to climb the rock wall. The frog boy frowned at the suggestion of safety equipment. "We had to use it in Mr. Solon's class... I didn't like it..." Mainly because he felt he wasn't doing it on his own with a thousand ropes tied to him.

Kuyoja gave the young frog an look that was impassionate and then returned his attention to the wall.
"it is your choice to not choose the saftey equippment. But do you not want it because it makes you feel inadequite? I assure you I would only let you go without it if I felt you were ready for it. " He continued meaning mainly he had enough faith in the boy to trust him with out equipment.

If worse came to worse he would be under the boy at all times.
"Now, unlike you humans have to rely on their strength and pully systems to make sure they don't fall to their deaths. It isn't meant to hamper you but assure your saftey. A dead ninja is a useless ninja." He explained, the end sounding like it was suppose to be a joke, but the humorless tone in his voice made it hard to take it as one.

"Now if you are ready I would like you to take a look up along the rock wall. I have posted markers along the walls surface. There are five total. You need to collect as many as you can without making a sound or falling. If you do either the test is over and I will asses where we should go from there." he continued moving over to grab a clipboard and jotting something down before replacing it back onto the floor.

"ready then?"

Nibal quelled a touch under the teacher's glance. He listened as the man went on. "Oh." He muttered, wondering if the man was going to make him wear it now. He glanced at his fingertips for a moment. They would hold him up easily. He'd practiced that much at home, though he'd scared his father by being up on the ceiling. To his credit, he'd been over his bed in case he'd fallen...

Nibal's thoughts were interrupted by the teacher's explaination. He glanced along the wall for a moment, noting the markers. Well, he had no worries about falling. The silent part would be harder...

"Yeah, I'm ready." The boy moved to be under one of the markers, his eyes looking at the hand grips. This shouldn't be too hard...

Kuyoja noted that the student choose to believe in hisown abilities rather than erly on a harness and pully system. Of course is this had been Valens the situation would of required a harness and pully system. Kuyoja stood back slight from the wall. Glancing at the clock that was near the exit door.

"You have ten minutes." He said nodding his head before returning his gaze to Nibal.

"You may start now."

THe rock wall was about 100 feet wide and reached the ceiling, the foot holds were easy to spot though there were some hidden crevices as well. Some o the markers were fairly straightforward to reach. Whilst there were two that seemed to have no way of getting to them. But there had to be a way....they were put there after all.

Nibal glanced at the wall. Ten minutes. Shouldn't be that hard, right? When he was told he could begin, the boy grabbed a handhold and pulled himself up. He'd learned the hard way (and with lots of practice) how to keep his fingers from sticking when he didn't really want them to and how to remove them when they did.

Now, the only trick was to be quiet about this whole thing... The boy moved slowly, yet steadily, towards the nearest marker, keeping his limbs close to his body whenever possible. His long toes almost made getting a foothold even harder, but Nibal just started to rely on mostly his toes alone, using the rest of his foot whenever he could.

The boy smiled as he reached the first marker and pulled it out, then puzzled for a moment on what to do with it...

He watched nodding his head as the boy located the first marker.

"You can just drop it." He called up as he noticed that the boy seemed unsure of what to do with the thing now that he had it. For this excercise he wouldn't force the boy to have to carry them all this time around.

He made good time as well. He would make note to jot the information downon his clipboard once the child was done. He didn't want to risk moving away only to have the boy fall. Though it didn't look like it was something that was bound to happen.

The lad has very sticky toes and fingers....he could tell just from watching how Nibal moved. Very interesting.

Nibal gave a nod of his head and dropped the marker, glancing for the next nearby marker. This one would be a bit harder to get, but he felt confidant in his fingers and toes and didn't think that the dispersed handholds would affect his climbing.

Nibal moved a bit slower and made sure that he was not going to fall before shifting his weight each time. As he climbed, he could see that another marker was not far from the one he was headed towards. And the climb to it appeared easy. The boy pulled his attention back to his current climb.

Though he didn't like it, his limbs were more widespread during this climb than the last with the positioning of the handholds. But he made it to the marker and dropped it before moving towards the other one he'd spotted. This climb was easier.

Impressed he said not a word. Nibal was doing very well, this was a good task for the boy, he would have to give him something to practice but how did one practice silent movement? Aside from moving obviously.

Looking over he noticed his pylons and nodded his head. He would set up a few pylons and have the boy take them home to practice moving silently and in the dark as well. He would have to get a parent to sign a form showing they observed the task being done.

By the time he refocused on the boy he was already working on his third marker. He was making excellent time.

Climbing was most definately Nibal's favorite thing to do. The boy grabbed the third marker, but in his excitement, it got stuck to his fingertips. Frowning, he lost some time prying it off and dropping it before looking around for the last two markers. Unfortunately, he only spotted one. The other must be hidden from his view, the boy thought as he started towards the one he could see.

Nibal paused at a few intervals along the way to see if the other marker appeared. It wasn't until he was almost at the fourth marker that the fifth was spotted.... in the opposite direction he'd been travelling in. Apparently, he'd been unable to see it due to a slight outcropping. Nibal turned his attention back to the fourth marker and snagged it, letting it drop.

Now, there was just the one left...

Kuyoja checked the time again. He didn't not speak allowed the fact the boy was running out of time. It usually caused students to panic and rush. And rushing tended to cause more mistakes than desired.

But even if he didn't get the last marker four out of five was an imperssive score for a first attempt. Looking over to the boys dragon he gave a formal nod to the green before he looked back to Nibal.

He had spotted the last one. It was a shame he only had one minute left.

Nibal frowned as he stared at the last marker for a moment, then looked at the path between him and the flag. Definately not the easiest path around. The footholds were not nicely spaced and it would take him a while to get to it. The boy had a feeling his time was running low and his frown deepened as he assessed the situation.

Then, a smile slowly crept upon his face. Time running low was no problem! The boy crept closer, carefully judging the distance as he stuck to the easiest path he could find. Finally, he judged himself to be close enough and made sure he had good grips upon the handholds. Then, he used the other skill he'd learned in Mr. Solon's class. His tongue shot out and stuck to the marker. Nibal grinned as he tugged as best he could at the marker to get it loose.

Finally, the marker was freed and Nibal unstuck his tongue from the marker with a large grin upon his face as he glanced down at his teacher.
