"No waaaay," Kashi protested at the last one that Kicheko pointed out. "It looks like...like...some sorta elephant?" She wasn't sure with what she just said, though, and twisted her head trying to see if it really did look like an elephant. She couldn't tell, and waved it away with a paw. "I think that one looks like a biiiiig lion." She pointed out to another one, two clouds that were melting into one.

Kashi didn't seem to actively notice just how comfortable she was with Kicheko. It was one of the only times that she really got to act like a cub, not having to worry about being better then anyone else. She didn't have to worry about her own safety, just in case one of her sibilings tried to pop one on her head when their parents weren't looking. She didn't have to worry about acting like the toughest thing out there, either. It was...pleaseant. And Kashi didn't notice how relaxed she was. She might only realize it when she had to return home.

"Haha your right.." the bright female rolled back and forth a few times while in a wave of laughter and excitement. "If that were REALLY the size of a lion, I would be sooo scared!" It was like.. a macho lion, and Kicheko was just imagining something that scary for fun. "Man, I am jealous of those birds up there. They get to fly around in those awesome clouds.. I would SO fly around all day if I could. You get to look at everyone. But, I wonder if it gets tiring.."

Kicheko then glanced at Kashi, who seemed content in her own thoughts. "Do you think it would be cool to fly? It might be kinda scary.. but scary can be cool right?" Kicheko liked to pretend she was brave, but she really was a baby when it came to certain things.

As her family would always proclaim, Kicheko was good with her words, and that was all! "OH, I see another Elephant!" she then blabbered, while wiggling in happiness at the strange shape.

Kicheko sure seemed to talk a lot. But some of her talkativeness might of been rubbing off of Akasha, since she herself was talking more to Kicheko then she normally did to her family, and in a nice way as well! Geez, sometimes too much of a good thing really could change a soul! Well, that was until she returned home, or something. She loved her mother, but that was about it. Stupid family. She brushed these thoughts away again quickly, since she didn't want to ruin her time with Kicheko.

"Hmmm. Fly? I never thought about it," she said honestly. "Maybe if you could find one of them god things, if they really exist. I've only heard about it, never seen one, yup. But they're supposed to have wings, maybe they can make you fly?" Yeah, Kashi reeeally knew what she was talking about. At least she wasn't trying to convince Kicheko to try and jump off a rock to really see if she could fly. Naaah, that's something she'd try to pull on her sister, especially Marty. But the probability that a god actually existed? Next to zero in Kashi's mind.

"I know what your talking about.." Kicheko then said, while lowering her eyes. "I met someone once, but they weren't very friendly. It made me not want to fly, since they were so negative towards everyone on the ground." Shaking her head angerly, the cub then mounted herself on her paws, and jumped up and down on the solid ground. "He was saying how the ground could never be as good as the sky, and that made me mad! I love it down here." Bringing usual smile on her face, the Kicheko then lowered herself again, and relaxed comfortably on her stomach. "He didn't know what he was talking about.."

The male she had met really was quite rude..and she tried to shake that conversation out of her head, since it was sort of annoying to think about.

When Kicheko brought her eyes back to the sky, she realized that the sun had moved itself over into the middle of the sky. The morning had quickly passed, and she hadn't even realized it while being besides the other cub. "Time is going to fast.." because once time for the day was over, they would both have to return to their families.. and the thought of that kinda sucked!

"Hmph. Boys," was Kashi's first reaction to what Kicheko had said. They always thought that they were sooo smart, when time and time again it was proven that they just weren't. They were nothing but stupid. Someday they might learn that. "He was probably just jealous. And besides, while those clouds are pretty, my mom said that they're nothing but tiny water droplets, like the fog that you sometimes see reeeal early in the morning. He was probably so full of it he didn't know what he was saying!"

The cub laughed, rolling around on her back from side to side. A silly boy, full of hot air and nothing else. How she loved it! She slowly stopped, though, because too much laughing could really hurt.

"Late?" the cub echoed, peering first at the shadows around them. Not too much, but she did notice that the morning was gone. "Maybe..." She wouldn't admit it. 'Cause then they might have to part ways soon!

Everything the other cub said made Kicheko feel much better about the male she had run into. Kashi seemed so confident and strong, and Kicheko wanted to be like that! "Yeah.. your right! Thanks Kashi! He was probably stupid afterall, and I won't let it bother me again!" Kicheko needed to ignore other's words, especially when they weren't nice. She usually was too concerned with the happiness of others, even when she didn't know them. It was a bad habit.. and she probably would never change.

At Kashi's next reaction, Kicheko only stared forward, feeling the same silence about the situation. Unfortunately, they both had families, and places to return home to. Plus, Kicheko was worried that she couldn't see her friend again! She hadn't had this much fun in.. ever..

"So, even if we do have to part, do you think its possible for us to see each other again?" With sad eyes, Kicheko finally moved herself over to face the other cub. "I just have to see you again, since you are so nice, and are my friend!" She didn't care if it was too early to say it, but Kashi was definitely a good friend. In the short time they had known each other, Kicheko was able to finally have fun and just laugh with another. Kicheko had always wanted a friend like that, and now she had found one!

With a confident nod, Kashi agreed with her friend. Kicheko just needed to learn to let the mean things fal off her back, like sometimes rainwater did with the birds. It was so simple for her, herself, but otherwise she knew that, with Kicheko as an example, that it wasn't so easy for others. Well, that was okay. She could just be strong for Kicheko, and chase all those stupid mean boys away!

Her attention quickly shifted, though, to the prospect of the two of them parting ways for now. Sure, they did have to go back some time, but why did it have to be so soon? With a shake of her head, Kashi laughed, trying to cheer Kicheko up a bit. "Don't worry, silly, of course we will! Since we both live somewhat close to this hill, we're bound to see each other again. I'm not going anywhere, not soon." She smiled warmly, really liking her new friend. So sweet, it was such a change of pace to encounter. "We'll always be friends, 'kay?"

Kicheko wanted to shake out of happiness, but instead she confidently nodded to her friend. "My parents can wait for me.. yeah.. no need to rush! I feel like I am always waiting on them, so I am sure they wouldn't mind waiting on me!" The logic itself was a bit immature, but Kicheko didn't care. She was allowed to be a child, at least while she was still young.

What made her most happy though.. was Kashi's reaction to her friendship blabber, and she was overly thrilled that the other cub wasn't weirded out or anything. Kicheko could finally know for a fact that she had a friend somewhere, and that definitely made life more interesting and exciting! She couldn't wait to tell her mother later.

"There must be something else daring we can do, especially before it gets dark. Got any ideas, Kashi?" Kicheko was blanking out, and she glanced around them while only looking at the patches of ground and plants in the distance. "Ah.. I am speechless for once!"

"Hmmmm." Kashi thought to herself quickly. It was true, the two of them had been out aaaallll day. She looked around just like Kicheko, staring at the world around them as the sun's rays made it just a bit more golden. That meant that the sun was getting tired, Kashi though, just as her mother had taught her.

"Ummmm," she though out loud (again), trying to think think think! Oh! "Maybe we should check out the watering hole, sometimes there's coooool things there~!" Cool things like weird birds, crazy preybeasts, sometimes even little hares and what not. Maybe they'd find something neat~! Certainly nothing at all, now that was something that Kashi couldn't believe.

"You've been there, right? It's not too far from here, I think..." She tried to remember exactly where it was. There were a handful of smaller ones hanging around here, surely there was one close by. Maybe even Kicheko knew of one herself.

Kicheko gleamed at Kashi's idea, but then sulked her head a bit before speaking. "Um.. um.. I've never been to a watering hole!" With a gasp, she burrowed her head under her paws. It really was a sight. "I must be so weird!" she then said, while shaking her spazzy head. Doing little movements like that usually made her mother laugh, and she hoped she could get away with being weird by making Kashi at least laugh!

"I can help you find it, even though.. I've never been there.." with a pause, she grinned sheepishly before knowing exactly what to say. "You and I make a good team anyways, so I am sure we could find it." Kicheko then stood up on her paws again, and motioned to Kashi that she was ready to go. "We might as well do something fun before the day completely ends!" Stupid sun.. stop being so lazy! Kicheko kept thinking that as she watched the changing sky.
